Kai smiled into the kiss and deepened it, pressing Tala against the billboard they'd been admiring and pinning him against it. He surfaced for air and grinned wickedly at the redhead in front of him. "Only when you aren't willing to let me kiss you senseless." He told Tala matter-of-factly before he once again descended down to capter Tala's lips.

And when am i not willing to let him do that?
Tala entwined his fingers in Kai's hair and let the blunetter work his magic. Not like Tala was going to fight back. He was almost a blob of jelly and a happy blob of jelly at that. Once again they forgot what they were supposed to be doing and where they were.

Kai pressed himself further against Tala until he was pressed fully against the other, one of his hands cupped the redheads cheek while the other ran intricate patterns down Tala's side.
Kai was so engrossed in turning Tala into a blob of jelly that he missed the soft pad of footsteps coming down the hall toward them.
Brooklyn frowned absently. The teacher had sent him to find the two errant boys when she had called to office to check whether they were there or not. He didn't understand what could be taking them so long. He rounded the corner and stood, frozen, when he saw what was before him.

Tala tightened his hold on Kai's neck, trying to bring them closer together. He kissed Kai back as passionately as possible until breathing became an issue. He pulled back panting.
"Ok, remind me to breathe next ti-"
Tala stopped mid sentance and blinked. Something was nagging at the back of his mind. he looked around and spotted brooklyn and froze.
"Ah...it's the kid," he whispered to Kai.

Kai blinked blearily. "Eh?" He said intelligently, looking at Tala.
"K-Kai?" Brooklyn asked softly, as if he couldn't believe what he had just seen.
Kai whirled around to face the new voice, panic and fear etched on his face. His hand Moved down Tala's body until he gripped the redhead's hand tightly.
"Kai?" Brooklyn asked again, staggering forward. "What-?"
Kai blinked, at a loss for words. Brooklyn looked devastated. Crap

Tala blinked and held onto Kai's hand. This wasn't going to be an easy one to explain.
The kid looks devastated.
Tala thought about that before squeezing Kai's hand tighter and looking at him.
What if he like, liked Kai. This would be really akward.
He looked between the two and laughed nervously.
"Ha ha, hi...there?"

Brooklyn blinked at Tala dumbly. "What are you laughing about?" He clenched his fists and looked away from them, not wanting to see their jointed hands. So this was how Kai had know about Tala's hickey. He had been the one to give it to the redhead. Brooklyn felt tears prickle his eyes at just the thought of that.
Kai looked across at Tala. His lover looked really nervous. He wished that there was some way that he could comfort him more than just holding his hand but he know that doing that would hurt Brooklyn even more. He knew something like this would happen eventually. He knew that it would have happened, and yet he had kept denying it. Now it was too late to think of any strategies to cope.

Tala decided that it would be a good idea to remain silent for the time being. He decided that the most interesting thing at the moment would his feet. He should have known that something like this wouldn't have turned out being any good in the end.
He bit his lip, thinking. Maybe if they had of told Brooklyn about them earler they could have avoided a confrontation like this, but that was in the past now. Now they had to deal with Brooklyn's reaction.

"Answer me!" Brooklyn yelled, feeling a sudden burst of anger. "What's going on? Kai? WHAT'S GOING ON?" Brooklyn knew what was going on. He just wanted to get confirmation of it from his supposed 'best friend'
Kai's gripped tightened on Tala's hand. Apart from that, his nerves didn't show on his face. He opted not to answer Brooklyn's question, instead looking over to Tala. The redhead normally had at least some idea about what to say in awkward situations.

Max and Tyson were walking by, when they spotted Kai, Tala, and Brooklyn. Max smiled and laughed, he still wanted to try and be friends with Brooklyn, and the same goes with Tyson. Max ran towards them, followed along by Tyson. As Max neared the three, he skidded, and stopped right in front of Brooklyn. "Hey, Brooklyn you want to uhh...."
Max looked closer at Brooklyn's face, and noticed tears were falling down from it. Tyson arrived and had noticed the tears on Brooklyn's face as well. Both Tyson and Max had the same thing in mind and said the same thing at the same time. "Brooklyn? What's wrong?"

Brooklyn looked across at Tyson and Max but quickly looked back at Tala and Kai, ignoring the two newcomers. "Tell me!" Brooklyn bit his lip as he felt more tears begin to roll down his cheeks. "Tell me." He repeated, disgusted with himself at how weak his voice sounded.

Tala looked up at Kai and then looked away again. He ran a hand through his hair, sighing. He had no idea what to say.
He looked up at Brooklyn's tear stained face and opened his mouth to say something but then closed it again. There was no way they were going to get out of this one. Looking over at Max and Tyson, he knew it wasn't the best idea but the only sensible one he could come up with.
"Brooklyn, there's no use making up any excuse so we're going to tell you the truth."
He looked over at Kai, determined to get Kai to say it himself. It was his friend after all.

Max frowned after being ignored by Brooklyn. Tyson placed a hand on Max's shoulder. Max knew what he was trying to say, 'Don't worry about it Max. He'll come to eventually.' Max nodded and then turned his attention to Kai and Tala.

Kai looked at Tala, eyes wide, before understanding the redheads intent. I'm the one who's been hiding this, not him. He nodded briefly at Tala before trying to think of what to say. "Brooklyn... I... We-" He trailed off, angry with himself. He'd been so busy hiding his relationship with Tala he didn't know how to put it into words. "Tala and I-" He began again, before stopping. How could he finish that sentence? He couldn't just blurt it out could he? And yet he couldn't think of any other way to put it. He could wither tell the truth or make up another desperate lie. "-We're going out..." He inwardly cringed at how weak that sentence sounded. But it was all he could think of.
Brooklyn let out a bark of mirthless laughter. "Really? I never would have guessed." He said sarcastically. "How long?" He asked, looking at the billboard beside himself, refusing to meet his former friend's eyes. He felt more tears fall from his own eyes and blinked them away angrily. "HOW LONG?"

Tala cringed at the orange-haired teens outbursts. He was usually so quiet. This was a shock. For once he really didn't have the courage to say anything to him. He would either get his head snapped off or his words would break Brooklyn like a fragile china doll.
He looked over at Kai and gave his hand a reassuring squeeze. He wish he could say something to comfort him but he could only give moral support by being with him.
