It was just a train, but by now, Alice should have known better. At first, as the train started to move, everything was fine, and Alice was in the mood to take a nice nap. The second it started to pick up speed, she was happily dozing off. When the train jumped Alice jumped herself, and grabbed onto Shakir's furry arm.
"What was that?!" Alice shrieked in surprise. No one else on the train seemed phased by the sudden movement, so Alice guessed it wasn't this so called Witch come to get her. In response to Alice's reaction, a munchkin passenger explained that the train had simply jumped over a river, because the munchkins didn't build bridges. What idiot wouldn't build a bridge over a river?!
"Yeah, I'm fine." Alice said to Shakir, trying to re-compose herself. "Just... never been on the train before." She released his arm, and leaned against the side of the car, only to grip the seat. Alice was prepared to not freak out the next time the train jumped.

I may be Madd, but I'm not crazy...Alice shuddered slightly as Olly returned near here. "Olly..." She whispered, for no reason at all. Trains has always freaked her out. She bit down on her lip as the train jumped over the river, hearing Alice squeal. She laughed slightly, not at all surprised that the lion hadn't told her it would jump. Poor child...She'll suffer more surprises than necessary with that headstrong little brat. Angie shook her head slowly, sighing. Poor, Poor child she be. Travailing around with a mercenary will only cause trouble. She thought, lifting her hat slightly and rubbing her forehead. Of course it was a horrid thing to think, the same could be said about Alchemists, as well. Oh, wont you have some tea with me?

"Hm?" Olly looked toward Hatter. She seemed nervous. He noticed her biting down on her lip. Well, at least until that girl screamed. He had to try and not laugh. Even in a phunk, he would laugh at other peoples expense. Man, he had issues. He turned his attention back to Angie. "I think the question is, are you ok?" He looked at her and for the second time, blood red met ocean blue.

I may be Madd, but I'm not crazy...Angie stared at Olly for a moment, shocked into a bit of silence. It's been a long time since anyone actually asked about her well being. It was a weird feeling, actually. But the weirdest part, she figured, was that it was Olly who asked. The same Olly, who, an hour ago, she could barely stand.
Can this day actually get stranger? She thought, but she smiled cautiously. "I'm fine." She said, noting the quiver in her voice and shaming herself for it. Mother's rule was, and always will be, "It's best to keep a somber face when negative emotions consume you." Oz rest her soul, that old craze ended up being driven mad by her own rules. Oh, wont you have some tea with me?

Olly only nodded. "If you say so." Then he mentally smacked himself. Olly and nice didn't belong in the same sentence. And here he was being caring? To Hatter? He shook his head then mentally drilled holes into the back of Alice's head. The minute she came into the picture he's been confused and he loathed it. He placed his hands beside him, brushing Hatter's hand. He was too deep in thought to notice the slight contact. In replace of his grin, a frown crossed his face. "What is wrong with me?'' He whispered, almost whimpered. Olly thinking out loud. The world was sure looking strange from this angle. [[is there going to be sparks here?? i dont know if it would interfere with the story, or make it interesting. or if thats ok with you. its up to you. im fine either way. i just thought about it]]

I may be Madd, but I'm not crazy...Angie sat, staring at her boots. They looked much like how she felt; conflicting. Colors moved everywhere, clashing with every other color. It was a portrait of her mind, really. One thought conflicted with the next and the next. She didn't understand at all. An hour ago, she dreaded the moments with Olly. Now, sitting here, she was next to him. And she wasn't dreading the moments, not anymore. People change, Feelings change. It's the way of the chaos, in which, we live. She thought, quoting her mother, her idol, in all reality.
As great as that is, I was never informed as how to handle such situations as this one. And she really didn't know how to handle it. Her life consisted of moving about so often that she never got close to anyone but her Mother. Men never bothered with her, since she was still very young before her mother died and the Red Witch got her claws into Angie. Oh, wont you have some tea with me?

[[I can't believe you two. As if this "Silas & Felincia" thing wasn't enough...]] Shakir had followed his mercenary instinct almost needlessly and had, very carefully, moved Alice and the White Rabbit to another seat in the train. When they sat back down, he glanced to his left. By cat's blood -! Standing, with his arm still around the rabbit, he hailed the alchemist and the cat he had kind-of seen earlier. "What are you doing here?"

I may be Madd, but I'm not crazy...Angie turned her head, surprised by the little lion beside her. She shrugged at his question, "Taking a lovely train ride on a wonderfully glorious day like this." She said simply. "Or, if that story doesn't work of you, Following you. Which do you like more?" She asked, her nerves greatly appreciative to have something else to focus on besides the madness of her mind. Oh, wont you have some tea with me?

"Following -" Shakir shook his head and turned to Alice. "Fur and paw, child, what did you do? Never mind, we'll figure it out. Since we've got the rabbit hostage too, why not the rest..."

Olly kept taking glances at Hatter. He felt very strange he he didn't like it. At all. He realized when he was younger that there was no one in this world he could depend on. Nobody but himself. But in that train, sitting next to Angie... he felt oddly at peace. He shook his head to rid his head of these strange thoughts.
Finally he tuned in to the conversation. And he was not happy. "Take us hostage? Yeah right. Like I'd let that happen." He rolled his eyes but suddenly- he was overcome with the need to make sure... 'Oh dear Oz i did not just think that...' He wanted to protect Hatter. 'What is happening to me? I worked so hard to build my walls up... and they're crumbling down...' There was no grin on his face.
The train came to a schreeching halt and a strange noise was heard from the back of the train....[[and i love you jen!!]]

I may be Madd, but I'm not crazy...Angie wasn't sure which bewildered her more; the lion believing to take them hostage or that Olly grew very dark, menacing-like over the thought. Why would an annoyingly cheery cat become so intimidating. What could possibly cause such a thing? She thought, "I only meant to protect her from you. Killers shouldn't be trusted. Alice, he could very well be working for the Witch, you ninny. You're lucky he's not." But Angie knew very well that somethings meant nothing when it came to other things. Just because he didn't work of the Witch didn't mean he didn't work of another.
The train stopped, more violently than it would have liked, throwing a few un-careful people against others. Sound came from the rear. Sounds she's heard before.... But when? "What is that?" She asked aloud, pulling her gun out and releasing the safety. Oh, wont you have some tea with me?

Olly watched as she pulled out her gun. The noise from the rear only got louder. Instinctively, he put himself in front. He couldn't stop himself if he tried. "I'm going to check it out." He whispered to Angie. And in a blink of an eye, he disappeared.

Alice almost wasn't surprised that Angie was following them, but it was her catlike friend that bothered Alice. Who was he? And what was he doing here? It seemed he was with the Hatter, but... what was the connection between them? Alice assumed they were working together, so she gave him the same cold stare she shot at Angie.
And then the train stopped, causing Alice to almost topple over on Shakir. Almost, but not quite. She got her footing just as she heard a loud noise from the back of the train. Angie and her friend seemed worried about the noise, and the cat vanished after the noise sounded again. Alice bent closer to Shakir.
"What was that?" she hissed, slightly worried. The jumping train was enough. Did the day really have to get any worse?

Olly's heart was racing. Slowly and silently, he made his way to the back of the train. He didn't know what he was going to find, but he had felt and heard the sound before. 'If only I could put my tongue on it...' He thought to himself, and the sound was getting louder. His heart only beated faster.

Shakir gave a contemptuous glance at the rabbit he was still holding. If it weren't for trying to keep tabs on this one, he could check out the noise himself. "First of all," he whispered to Angie, "I would never work for the Witch. Stupid tyrant killed my father. Second of all, I'm a veteran mercenary. Why in the name of tails would she need you to protect her? And third of all, why do you care about her?" Shakir wasn't going to admit out loud that he had only "signed up" to protect her because it gave him an excuse to leave his previous employment.
