Hikaru, Fenleigh "O-Oh..." he said, looking a little worried and relieved...
Glad that it was nothing much but...
He still felt like there should be something he could do to make him feel better...

Something, a sinful feeling, stirred in Tenyou's heart. He was scared and didn't know what he should do about the feeling. The High One would most likely remove his wings and cast him down to Earth for sure! It wasn't like Tenyou would mind living on Earth, but to be cast from Heaven was the worst of all thoughts.
Tenyou trembled. Maybe he could tell Bell-san about the problem. She'll know exactly what to do, right? Since there was no way to contact the High One or Mother, then it would be best to ask her for advice.

Hikaru, Fenleigh Bell sensed trouble...
"Oy~ You two~" she called, waving over at them, as she changed back, as she reached the edge of the lake, "You might want to either take cover here or go home... I have a bad feeling..." she said, looking at the sky as she rubbed an arm...
Hikaru's eyes widened slightly, "...Crows or Ravens...?" he asked, as those two usually either warred over the Lake or tried to oust the Swans from their roosts and take it for themselves...
"...Possibly neither... Possibly bother..." she said, not looking at the two... but watching as the clouds seemed to darken slightly...
Not a god sign...

Tenyou looked up at the darkening clouds. Yes, something terrible might happen. "Maybe it's best to go home, then," he said, looking at Fenleigh. "It might be dangerous to stay here any longer." He was never able to find out how the storms came to be, but he guessed that a fellow angel, possibly the High One, was angry about something.
Thunder sounded in the clouds. Thunder storms were one of Tenyou's worst fears. What had happened on Earth that made someone so angry? What could possible have happened that he didn't know about?

Hikaru, Fenleigh "Yeah, I'll be dangerous.... Uh-oh..." she muttered the last part, seeing the flocks before she heart their raucious caws...
"COme on!" she called, dragging the two away, "Swans! TO cover!" she called to her flock whih immediately as told, having gone through this a few times already...
"I-It's the crows...? Or the... ravens...?!" asked Fen as they ran...
"Both! It's another war! And if we don't get to cover soon, we'll get caught right in the middle!{/b]" she exclaimed...

"What could they possibly be waring about?!" Tenyou asked, watching as the flocks approached each other. As they were being dragged to safety, he saw that the swans at the lake flew off to escape the war. He wanted to know what was going on, but at the moment it was entirely impossible.
Before long the crow and raven flocks collided and a huge noise of caws rang in Tenyou's ears. Feathers fell onto the ground like black snow. More feathers came down as the war went on, the fight apparently getting more severe. Still, what could they possibly be fighting about? If it's the lake, why can't they just live in peace and get over it? The lake is large, right?

Hikaru, Fenleigh "...Dunno... But form what I can tell its another war either over insult, injury, theft -which would probably the crows- Territory -like hunting in another's territory of something like that..." She continued to tick points off, until she reached the end, "So... Yeah... they just don't get along..." she said sweating slightly as she thought about it...
[[Hey! I have an idea! Do you want to do something similar only with the Crows and Ravens? Like the Prince of Ravens, and the Current leader of the Crows or a sibling of the current leader and them falling in love...? Or something...?]]
Fenleigh sweat, "That... That is... a lot..." he acceded...
No wonder they hated each other! If all they did was this sort of thing!
Bell ndoded, "Yah, look over then, you see those two...? The only ones in a one on one fight in the middle? The ones in half form?" she asked, pointing them out.
Fenleigh nodded, blinking.
"That one, the larger one," she said, pointing to a taller majestic raven haired, and raven eyed man with Raven's wings, he wore purple and black clothes that looked kind of like royal clothes, with little white for where there was lace or ruffles, his hair was long and tied back [think like, gwendal from Kyou kara maoh], and he was stoic looking, in one hand he held a rapier, and seemed like he had no effort keeping himself and all his clothes up in the air and in the same place, "That's the Raven Prince, the Raven go by Leader who is like a Prince, and ended up being called the Prince, and are like clans," she said, "And that one," she said, pointing to the one confronting the man who looked about 21, was a scrawny looking boy who looked around 16 or 17, and held his own blade, and wore plain clothes, a white men's tanktop like shirt without sleeves, and dark baggy pants, both wore shoes -or seemed to wear them- and the boy's hair was messy, but his eyes were clear and serious, and though he seemed young he also seemed determined, "That must be the current Leader of the flock, unlike the Ravens, Crows just follow whoever's strongest," she explained, "So they also get into skirmishes amongst themselves for the title, not many last long, the longest so far has been three -maybe four years..." she said.
Fenleigh stared, wow...

(I dunno.) Tenyou stared at the warring bird people. He didn't believe that the war was caused only by annoyances. Otherwise, there would probably be only quarrels. Wars were supposed to be caused by a long-standing hatred for a large reason, not something as small as stealing, insults, or something of the sort. Only humans would fight about such things, right?
Speaking of humans, they were the only Earth beings that Tenyou had been forbidden to take care of. He had once been a human around a thousand years ago, but he only spent the first few minutes of his life as one. The High One had found him abandoned as a baby and had turned him into an angel to escape death. The only question on Tenyou's mind was why him of all children?

Hikaru, Fenleigh They just watched as the factions warred, unable to anything else, lest they were killed as well.
Fen watched with wide eyes, and to him, it seemed like the Raven Prince, and Crow King did not want to fight but had to before their factions.
Why? He wondered, unless...?
Bell watched both the war, and the two with her silently, watching the realizations, and wonderings on their faces...
And just how would things progress now...?

While watching the war, Tenyou saw no casualties, or deaths as the High One would put it. Sure, there was blood and feathers pouring down from the sky, and he had to look away a few times because it was too violent, but other than that there were no bodies falling unless they were wounded. It was a bit strange, since Tenyou thought that the crows and ravens hated each other.
The High One's light was completely concealed by the dark feathers of the ravens and the crows. The once-beautiful lake turned bloody red and littered with countless feathers. The battle was getting worse and worse. Tenyou was beginning to wonder if it was ever going to end.

Hikaru, Fenleigh Fenleigh could only watch, biting his lip so that it bled a little...
He wanted to help... To stop this madness so bad...!
But... What could he do?!
He thought about it as he watched...
Wasn't there anything he could do?!

Without thinking, Tenyou emerged from hiding and ran toward the war. There was probably no other way to stop this than to try to get them to understand that this war was utterly pointless. It also seemed to be hesitant and unwilling, as if their leaders didn't want it to happen. Shouldn't both parties realize this?
"Stop! You don't know what you're doing!" Tenyou shouted, waving his arms frantically, hoping to get the birds' attentions. "You have to end this war immediately!" Unfortunately, they didn't seem to hear him. His shouting only seemed to have made everything worse. They just weren't listening to him!
Suddenly, everything seemed to turn black. He was caught in the middle of the war cloud. Constant strikes from straying weapons began tearing his clothes, skin, and already injured wings. Even so, nobody seemed to see him. It probably won't be long before he would be reduced to a shredded corpse.

Hikaru, Fenleigh Fenleigh gasped and ran after her, "Tenyou!" he exclaimed, and pushed him out of the fray, only to be caught up in it himself.
"Stop... STOP IT!!!!" he exclaimed, his voice somehow loud enough to get through to them.
FOr once he was soo angry!
"This is so stupid! WHy are you fighting such a pointless war?!" he exclaimed, yes. Fenleigh, was very angry...
"WHy do you ask, fly?" cawed one of the crows.
"This is our fight, little one," said a raven.
"But its wrong! How many people must be injured? How many people will die?!" he asked, watching the immoble birds.
"If you have to at least make it a-a tournament or something! Have a third party judge or referee whatever sport, fighting, whatever! And the winning team wins, and if you have to challenge each other but war?!" he asked.
"Humans have enough wars, we don't need anymore of that!" he said.
"How can you do this to your people? What of your wives, families children? How much loss could have been prevented that they would now have to go through because of you?!" he asked, yelling now...
They were all silent, the only sound that could be heard now, was the flapping of wings on wind...
He was angry, true, but he was sad, too.
His eyes were filled with tears of grief even as his features sparkled with rage...
And because of this stupid war... Tenyou... Tenyou got hurt again! he wanted to scream out, but he knew they wouldn't listen if he said that...
Bell, who had been able to do nothing, but watch, then catch Tenyou as he emerged, watched, eyes wide...
"...He's grown, Father..." she said, smiling slightly now, "He's grown..."

The pain had suddenly stopped, as if someone or something had pushed him from the center of the battlefield. There were many voices, and he was in comforting arms. Everything was so blurry... so red. Why was it red? Why couldn't he see clearly? Was something wrong with him? Perhaps the battle's straying weapons did this to him.
It wasn't long before suddenly all the noise stopped and he could hear a gentle whisper. There were no more sounds of shouting and the clanging of metal weapons. There were no longer any insults, and no feathers flew down. Something was entirely different. The war, or at least the battle, seemed to have stopped.

Hikaru, Fenleigh It was silent around him.
For some reason, there was something about this firefly that made them stop and think...
Why? Many of the birds wondered. Why would this firefly care so much about something that did not have anything to do with him? But they knew the truth in his words, and looked at each other uncomfortably...
Bell decided that it was her turn to intervene.
"Excuse me," she said, flying over, "I am Bell, the leader of the Swans that live on the lake." she said.
"I'm sure you all understand what he says, and I agree, because not only are you hurting youselves, you are causing unnecessary worry to those that live here as well," she said, "If you follow the boy's advice, though. I would be more than willing for the Swans to be judges or referees, whichever. So please go over this more peacefully?" she said.
Fen blinked, coming out of whatever phase he had been in, "...Thanks Bell," he said, his voice a little tired, but his eyes full fo respect.
"You've done well, child. Now go take care of Ranpa. I'll speak here," she murmured softly to him, and ruffled his hair.
He nodded, "Ok," he said, and flew over...
And so things settled peacefully...
For now...
THe Ravens and crows even offered to help take care of Ranpa, each sending one of their best doctors, while the heads and Bell talked things over.
The Lord of Ravens had been just a little relieved, and the current Crow ruler, though he didn't show it, was also glad. The two exchanged a glance, and nodded, agreeing to have it be neutral territory, but not until going over a few other 'political matters'
