I'm a soprano 2 and I'm really good at sight reading, I'm getting the hang of singing the harmony but I'm a really bad aral learner. That and I just started singing this past year. But yeah I gotta give it to the alto's and basses, they's gotst it hard not singing the melody.

I'm most comfortable in the bass section, but I can comfortably sing barritone as well, and I can also sing some tenor 1 and 2; possibly even as high as alto if I go into intense falsetto.

Soprano 2, but I can also sing soprano 1 and alto 1
Record:
First 3 years: Soprano 1
1st semester of this year: Alto 1
Currently: Soprano 2
Ive been pretty much everywhere XD

I am a Soprano I in my school's small eighth grade chorus. We only have around fifteen people all together. There are only three Soprano Is, six Soprano IIs, and the rest are Altos. Sometimes, though, I wish I wasn't a Soprano I since we have all those cursed high notes.

In lower grades, I was a soprano, but my voice got deeper and now it hurts to go as high as I could. ^_^
So naturally I'm an alto. I help my guys sometimes because they think they have to be tough and not sing.

It makes me upset when my alto friends get jealous of me. ._. Because I never know what to say to make them feel better.

I'm a soprano 1. There's only five sopranos in my choir(well, there's only twenty singers in my choir, too) and only this other girl, Tayler, and I are the ones who sing enough to be heard. But Tayler is really high on herself, and everyone hates her, and she pushes herself to be louder then everyone, and she makes us suck at contest, because our teacher makes her sing soprano 2 for contest, and she still drowns the rest of us out. And our alto section is the section that can't sightread. They're always out of tune. And that's when you can hear them. The only one who can sing, doesn't. And then we've got two special ed girls in our choir, but they don't go to contest with us.

You should TOTALLY be proud of your alto-ness.
Give 'em a song or two to sing that showcase the alto section. Believe me, if their choirs were anything like my high school choirs were, they'll be happy for it. Altos were ALWAYS ALWAYS ALWAYS backup... and NO ONE wants to be backup all the time.
