((You took a shot at Mort? o.0)) As the ice pelted him, Mort closed his eyes and muttered an almost silent incantation, and a barrier of shadow surrounded him and his comrades next to him (if there were any). Then he saw the moss growing on two of his group members, and he rushed through the smoke towards them, able to see thanks to Espyn's jewel. He reached his two teammates, and shadows grew over his hands, forming makeshift claws. He then began to tear at the moss, being extremely careful not to injure his comrades.

Well, that was a suprize. If anything he certainly had not expected a rescue. Though at first he really had no idea it was a rescue. This could easily be seen by the fact that he started to swing his ax up towards Gabriel.
Then it kind of hit him that Gabriel had not killed him. So he was safe. His ax immediately came back down. His gratitude did have limits though as he moved to push the man off. Apparently that would not be happening though, since they were trapped in ice.
Well this was just peachy, really.
And then salvation came in other forms. First off, he got out of the ice, thanks to someone. Pulled out of the ice. Nice, that was even better. Though he knew without looking that he was going to be pissed. His bike was buried.
"Cool...lets do something about that then."

Arcturus Highwind ((Okay Espyn, just to get this, you just one side Wrath of God'ed the whole area of the platform with icy death, right? Yeah. Oh, and did you take the shot I fired at Mort, or did Mort take them (2)?)) Burns, needles, now ice. Daniel felt himself slipping away, as he crawled on his elbows towards the hole the bot blasted in the wall for his escape. He held the pistol tight, waiting for something to show or sound off to be shot at. He pulled himself up in the hole. If he was going to freeze to death, might as well block the way best he could. (( Well Mort isn't on the same side as the room as I am so I don't think I physically could.. and yes, I suppose, I changed the atmosphere in the more. Moreso to get rid of the little figurines than anything...
Now I have to change my post to match the moss drain blood thing.. ah well. ))
Espyn was sweating because of his own element, he was tired. This had taken more out of him than he remembered, but then again, back then he was fueled by anger. So what was fueling him this time? A desire for the prize? Not really.. a passion to rid the field of those little toys and to aid his comrades... So he couldn't afford to be weak now. Not all his energy was gone, and he used a bit of it to sit up and see his friends against a wall that was.. wrapping itself around them?
Hold up. WHAT?!
Espyn rubbed his eyes, wiping the frost from his face, and narrowed his vision to see if what he thought he saw was true. Holy sh*t. What could he do? His ice was burned out (a lil pun there) and he'd have to wait... All he had now were his daggers and his...
His blade. Damn. It was a risk, but one he'd have to take. Espyn reached behind him and drew his blade from his back, not showing any signs of physical discomfort, and revealed it's solid metallic white blade, sighing sadly.
"Worth a shot..." Espyn whispered, standing against the wall, his shoulder being cut by his needles some, but healing up as any human body. Aiming with his left eye shut, he chucked the blade towards the wall, the sword passing through the wall and it's layers of ice and returning to him as it was made to. No signs of damage. Perfect.
Espyn prepared himself to feel the affects of his Karma-Sin technique.

Gabriel was lightheaded at best, pushing himself to such limits was a strain, but there were some things that he could do, like realize that a wall was attempting to wrap itself around him. While the moss did not necessarily grow on Gabriel, due to the fact that he held no exposed open wounds, he figured it would be best to sit still, so he didn't move into any of his teammates who happened to be swinging away at the plants attempting to cover him.

((If the ice hit first, and magicly covers the wounds, my attack is void. Other then that, ice is not one of the ways to remove the vampiric strain of moss. I'll speak to a judge about the other ways of removeal but would rather not list all the ins and outs of my powers for the general public.))

Recently unfrozen and his shoulder planted all too uncomfortably against a wall of ever-growing moss, Gabriel was far too eager to finally clamber away from his temporary resting place. Scrambling up to his feet, the mercenary clawed off what moss had grown onto his shoulder, tossing it back to the source.
"Disgusting."
Stepping back, Gabriel surveyed the situation, his hair dripping wet from the recently melted ice. Where the robot had gone, there was now a rather large wall of moss. He cast a sidelong glance to his remaining teammates.
"So...any clue how to break through this?"

The chaos seemed to abate, at least to an extent. The room was quiet enough and lacking in danger. At least danger that Julian could see. Not that he really stuck around for all that long. As soon as his allies cleared away the moss he was up.
It did not take long to get everything figured out. Not that Julian cared to figure it out. His time limit was running down and he had not even touched a bot yet. This was so not going to work.
"We do not have time for this." With that said he started to look around, quick glances thrown over the room. There had to be a way...and then there was. At least he hoped it was a positive thing. "The robot headed east. I figure, if we head north, we can come back around from another side?" He conviently left off the fact that he was guessing. ------
( And I really am guessing.. )

"Gentlemen, I believe it's getting a bit too crowded in here." Matthias mused over the din of combat. "I suggest we make our way down the subway and find another route to the surface. Prepare to fall back!"
He slung the sniper rifle over his shoulder and began making his way along Mozz's low wall to escape into the Downtown Underground. While doing so he pressed a button on his communicator watch and began talking into it. "Mr Dolohov, if you've regained conciousness please locate Mr. Li and lock onto our signal. We're in an underground subway, catch up to us by any means neccessary and avoid contact with hostiles if at all possible."
