The smile on Valter's face got even wider. "I don't need your forgiveness. I sure as hell don't want it, either. And please, don't fool yourself, Joshua. You and I never met on the battlefield. You couldn't have defeated me then, and you definitely cannot defeat me now."
After he had finished, an oh-so familiar voice appeared from somewhere to the right. He turned, and confirmed what he was thinking. It was Calleach, his old "comerade". This was just getting better and better.
Before he could say anything to the man, however, Joshua leapt at Calleach and the two began their bloody skirmish. Before it could escalate into a full scale showdown, however, that green-haired kid he recognized from that fight back in October threatened to use his no-doubt potent ancient magic unless the two adversaries seperated. Valter was slightly disappointed, but he hoped that he could resume his conversation with Sue. It was the whole reason he came, after all. To catch up with friends. Hopefully, he could just... forget that Calleach was there. As much as he wanted to fight the man, he really didn't want to get decimated by Rei's magic.

And now his nose was broken wasn't that just great? "I thought we were friends Josha" Caellach yelled as he got tackled to the floor. The bar behind head really hurt because it was hard wood and his head was not as hard as the wood so it left a bump and now hurt it like s**t. Except he had his axe still in his hand so he smacked the bar and he didn't fall down because there was a slit in the bar to catch in and he did. That prince had been friends before, but they not friends were now, or so he say. How did that work he wondered, but not out loud because then people would think bad things.
So instead of fighting the prince Caellach decided to yell at him instead and maybe he would get mad and mess up his self or something. "Your house fire was good, I had marshmallows, and I liked to stab of the axe in your friend stomach because seven times he threw at me." That man had got a throwing spear and throwed it hard, except since Caellach had an axe he dodged easily. Only, Johsua had attacked him and hit him at that time and then it had not gone well for the rest of the time. But then the battle was over and he had fall and come here so he was not dead. And why was that wyvern guy not helping, weren't they allies before?
So there was a mage kid with like a book and he was doing purple magic, it must be dark magic like that prince Lyon Grado had done before, it was recognized by the way it looked. But the Hero did not do anything, the swordsman attacked him, so he complained. "I only walked in door, I see someone I know and I talk, he attacks me with hands, for something I have not done ever. So he gets payback." So Caellach grabbed the red head and knocked his hand out of the way, and he put a knee in his face, growling at him.

Iris shrieked as the skirmish broke out. "You knaves are so undignified!" She was pushed over, and fell onto her bum, dirtying her elegant gown. "Oh my god!" she yelled. "Oh my god, oh my god, WHAT ON EARTH IS WRONG WITH YOU PEOPLE?!" she howled extremely loudly.

Roy decided to completely ignore the argument going on between Joshua and his 'friend', especially now that they were fighting right next to the bar. He was forced into a fight last time there was a party, and he sure as hell wasn't going to enter another one. Besides...Rei seemed to have it under control, with the ancient magic tome in his hands. Now, if the shotabookworm decided to miss and hit the bar, then they'd have a problem.
Seriously, what was the security doing? Did they all just so happen to be on break right at this moment, or did they just suck at doing their jobs? Really...you'd expect security to be a little tighter after what happened at the Harvest Festival.

I shall now demonstrate the law of Sacae... all our tribesman banding together against our invaders!~)Sue(~ Joshua, the man that wanted to duel Sue was verbally attacking Valter! She couldn't believe the nerve of his accusations, especially when he had no proof. The Nomad and Zairam knew Valter well enough from when he always came to Learania's aid during their times of need, and knew that he wasn't the type of person to enjoy bloodshed. Just when the green-haired female host was about to call him out on his deeds, Caellach came.
Much to Sue's surprise the fiery redhead's anger was directed towards what looked like a Hero, armed with an axe. Was there yet another person bent on giving Eyris terror trying to mess up a Host Club party? Sue wouldn't allow it. She was about to take action, when Rei stepped forward. Sue saw a look in his eyes, that same angry look when he used Apocalypse to bring down the War Dragons Idoun made back in the war with Bern. It was best not to get in his way, friend or foe.
The nomad took Valter by the arm in a casual way, like a security officer leading someone along. "Follow me." She whispered to the Wyvern Knight. "We don't need to get involved, Rei will handle this." She made sure they were far and away from the conflict, before it escalated any further.~)Nomad Trooper(~ You who harm the defenseless will pay at the ends of >>-arrows-> and 0=|IswordsI>

When Sue grabbed his arm, Valter happily allowed himself to be led away from the scene. She was right- Rei was young, but definitely worthy of the wyvern knight's trust. When the brawl was out of sight, Valter let out a sigh. "Well, let's just... try to forget about that, shall we?" Valter gave her another grin, his old one having disappeared during the fight.

...Really. Idiots. AFTER Rei had gone and given them a warning. He said they could kill each other somewhere else. But no. Idiots decide to engage in a bar fight. The gall of it all, seriously. And goddamn, they made some woman scream like a banshee. Not good for Rei's nerves. Returning to the matter at hand, Rei could only vaguely make out what the larger man was doing, due to the breaking of the fourth wall and the incoherence of his post. But, as the fourth wall was being mended together by a certain Archdruid's skeleton army ('cause you know that's probably what he's doing all this time), we're gonna refocus back on the little shotadruid Rei.
"...Sigh. I did give them a warning. Some people never learn, it seems." Rei was, quite obviously, pissed. However, the actions following were more or less dictated by forces outside of my control. Namely, this means Rhysman, Defender of the Night, and Supreme Overlord of Hoast Klub Partayz. So, it was surely a smart idea for Sue to drag Valter away from the fiasco. The man hadn't thrown a punch, so it wasn't very much fitting for him to become embroiled in the brawl. However, the burly one, with the axe- Wait, weren't weapons pretty much forbidden at these parties? ...Sure, Rei had one, but again, it was 'light reading'. Plus, he was a Host, and he didn't have that special someone yet. So, it wasn't too bizarre for him to be around to police things. And besides, this was an axe. There was no holding back with a bladed weapon.
"Alright, time to clean up the mess..." Rei didn't even give the rest of the party a flowery incantation, this time. He wasn't in the mood, to say the least. With a few waves of the hands, four dark tendrils crept from the shadows of the bar. One pair took the hands and ankles of Joshua, who was still reeling from the knee to the face. He just got kneed in the face, so he was definitely less of a threat to the peace.
The other pair, however, stormed Caellach's limbs. One, like before, ensnared the man's legs by the ankles. No kicking, for this one. Of course, the other one flipped the man onto his back, and held both arms by the wrist, behind his back, no less. No movements except for Magikarp-like flailings, for sure. With the main issue currently at his attention, Rei decided to keep Caellach from doing any more damage to the bar, lest he get brutally, completely murdered. So, a few slow, deliberate pushing motions led to the Hero being carried barely over the floor by the pair of tendrils. When the man reached the door, the tendrils swung him backwards, forwards, backwards again, gaining momentum. With a final push from Rei's magical energies, the tendrils threw Caellach from the castle's main entrance, watching him impact upon and roll unevenly down the stairs. The guards could take care of him, if they felt like it.
And here left Joshua. Due to the Defender of the Night's verdict, Rei lost interest in heaving the Myrmidon out the door. Chances are, since he was so much thinner, throwing him down the stairs could quite possibly kill him. And Rei didn't want the guests to leave and see a bloody, mangled corpse of a myrmidon. Wasn't good for reviews.
So, Rei only sighed, deciding to give Joshua a time to cool off, unable to move. After a minute or so, the magical bindings would disappear, and if Joshua chose to pursue violence, he could go out and settle his fight with Caellach. Then, it wouldn't be Rei's problem. At all. But, as he turned away from the door, since it wouldn't do well to let his senses sit around the scene he just made, he turned back towards the bar. That screaming woman sure was loud. Still, she had the right idea, slinging those insults. He couldn't help but show some courtesy to her, though. Her night could be ruined, all because he didn't break up the idiotic skirmish a few moments earlier.
The Druid walked over to Iris, and waved a hand over his tome, conjuring a tendril once more. This one, however, took Iris by the hand, and pulled her up, at which point Rei took the other hand, to stabilize her. "...sorry about that, miss."

After the fight had been stopped, Ziaram looked at Rei, and realized that this kid certainly did hold more power than he thought. Sue's warning to Valter certainly was a good one, since she had fought alongside him. Although something was still bothering Ziaram...what Joshua said was about Valter's past, yet could it really be true? After that ruffian had appeared, it seems more and more was starting to piece together and reveal truth. He wanted to question Joshua some more, yet right now was not the best of times since he had just been stopped from a fight. Heading off towards Roy and the rest by the bar, Ziaram went up to FD, and wen for a mug of ale...it did not matter what kind it was, he just wanted something to drink, to get his mind away from what he just saw and heard.

(@Caellach: Yeah, sorry about that--I feel kinda bad about it, I really do. But bringing an axe into a social gathering? Not smart, dude. Not smart. Any attempts to re-enter the party will be considered non-existent.
We now bring you back to your regularly scheduled post.)
Rhys heard the shouts, and his ears perked up, though he refused to let his face show concern--perhaps someone getting too drunk? He couldn't quite tell who it was from here, but he figured he ought to go look, it was his duty to make sure there wasn't any...
"Uh oh..." Amelia had never thought about it before, Joshua's coming to Learania. But there were others from Magvel here, and there was at least one among their number that had once been a mortal enemy. But Valter's changed, it was that evil cursed lance that drove him insane, he had nothing to do with-- but by the time she and Rhys were in full view of the proceedings, it wasn't Valter in a fight with Joshua, it was--
"Amelia? Who is..."
"Him?" She whispered, pointing at the Hero with the axe. "Caeallach, one of Grado's former... 'Generals'", she answered, the last word dripping with disgust. Even without the axe, Rhys could figure out that Cae was a man who needed no dues of respect.
With the axe, of course, well that just made matters worse. It looked as though he and Joshua were in a fight, but while he hadn't seen what happened, he approved of Rei's judgement. Take out the guy with the axe, leave the unarmed man... yeah, I can agree with that. "Nicely done, Rei," he added as the Druid went past.
Well! Rei had security issues under control. No need to panic then, was there? He turned around, glancing back towards the band--in the face of such anti-party activities, their music had failed.
"Well? I'm not paying you lot to sit around and be spectators," Rhys said in a genuine joking manner. Some band members laughed--this in turn allowed the rest of the group to pick up their instruments, debate where to pick up, and opted to restart their current piece, the music picking up once again.
Rhys and Amelia were the first to start dancing, and were probably among the most prominent. Just look for the orange hair and purple dress. You can't miss it. THAT MEANS YOU, VIKA.

Damn it, now they're starting to do stuff?
Vika slinked along behind a few bushes of the castle courtyard. She was dressed in a mishmash of items she had thrown onto herself in an attempt to look elegant. It actually didn't look too bad, she thought. And Blossom had thought it looked nice (you know, when she finally looked at it as she paused to take a breath from continually snogging Aidan) so it would do for the party. She ducked out of the sight of a couple of guards, looking for Rhys. He was the leader of that ragtag band of rebels - er, other hosting society, right?
This guy certainly knew how to throw a hell of a party. She hadn't even had punch yet and there was already a fight broken out. If a fight ever broke out at her place, Ganon would just throw them out. That's what he was good for. That, and showtunes.
Speaking of showtunes, the dancing had begun. While she liked dancing (it was so unfortunate that Blossom had decided to stay behind and make out with Aidan), it was not the reason she was here. She quickly found Rhys over there, orange hair and purple dress (seriously they may have been a great couple but talk about ick on color coordination), dancing with that wife of his. Vika straightened her gown and slowly avoided the other dancers (and tried to ignore that screaming woman) and approached him. "Hello, Rhys," she introduced herself quietly, "I don't think we've met..." She glanced around herself before returning her focus to him. "I run that other hosting restaurant over in town, ever since Hatmon mysteriously disappeared. It's a nice party, you have here. I had a proposition, if you were interested." She took his arm carefully, intent on leading him away from the carnage and noise. "May we discuss things in private?"

Well what so bad about a little coin toss now and then?
The Tempest King Ahhh come on. Live a little! ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ I'm betting my happiness life on this one Joshua at first pretended he couldn't hear the Druid and managed to get in another two solid punches to Calleachs face before he heard the hum of magic being prepped. The only reason Calleach managed to knock his hand away and push him back is because Joshua stopped hitting him. Stumbling backwards Calleach grabbed him by the back of his head and brought his knee towards Joshuas face, Being fast he managed to get the hand that hadn’t been pushed away in between the face and the knee which slowed it down a bit. The back of his hand connected with his chin and Calleache released his head, seeing an opportunity to get away from the so called Hero so Rei could do his magic Joshua stumbled away towards the bar feeling the magic close around his ankles and wrists he was locked firmly in place to the bar. Ignoring the rest of the happenings but able to hear them fairly well, Joshua decided that he could take the opportunity to order a drink. "Hey... uh Barkeep! I’ll take anything you have, as long as in the morning I won't remember tonight." Joshua called out slightly flushed from the fight. His lip was bleeding from where his ring caught it but he was grinning. He'd pay Calleach back for that later. Already between him and Rei the b*****d was beaten halfway to La-la land. So far tonight he'd won some money, Got turned down, Had his secret revealed to anyone who happened to be listening, found out he hadn't done the job of killing someone well enough and gotten into a fight, now he intended to drink all his problems away... if anyone wanted to dance or to talk to him.... well these bonding felt like they'd give out next post. (Joshua smoothly re-broke the wall that Rei's skeletons had so nicely fixed) Still in his bindings Joshua swiveled his head to get a better look at the people beside him, he'd ended up fairly close to Roy and another girl..... actually that was the one who had set him on fire a few months back, whatever, Joshua felt good now... better then he had in a while really, he supposed he'd forget about that. "Hey, Roy.... you mind getting my hat for me? I wouldn’t want anyone to step on it.... I'll buy you a drink if you do…. Sorry about wrecking your drinking time by the way…. But he killed my mother a while back and he didn’t stay dead…” C’est la vie, -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Tell you what, We'll flip on it, Heads, I win Tails, you lose DIE

Iris was still screaming. At some point around the three-minute mark, her screams had become not really words but more frantic, shrill, ear-piercing bits of cacophony. And still no one really told her to shut up. She got a lot of weird looks but they didn't know who she was! She was Iris Rystda, finest noble of Etruria!
When are you going to drop that? IT'S SO NOT TRUE.
In fact, the only time she paused in her screaming was to take a breath to scream more. That is, until a tendril took her hand to raise her to her feet. She paused in shock, and was ready to scream again.
Until she saw that face.
He was the most lovely green-haired gentleman she had ever seen! And that was a dark tome he was using. How simply exquisite! It was quite a thrill to see another practitioner of the dark arts around these barbaric lands. And he'd apologized to her! Oh, oh, how charming!
She giggled innocently, blushing slightly. "It's...it's quite all right, sir." She grasped his hand a little tighter as she allowed him to pull her to her feet. "May I have the honor of your name?" she asked. "My name is Iris Rystda, and it is quite the pleasure to meet you."
Is that Rei? Oh, hell, I can't believe you're hitting on him!

{Like a submarine in Advance Wars that ran out of fuel.}
Admittedly, Charice wasn't entirely sure what to expect... she'd seen him at one party before, sure, but he was normally the type to "put his nose to the grindstone". Could he get beyond that, though? She'd never known him to dance, at best he was more the type to talk to oth--!!
...For the first time in a while, she found herself at a loss for words. The man who talked like... Ooh, now's not the time for that! Come on! Be more... confident! You know, yourself!
"I'd be honored," she said, an uncharacteristic blush on her cheeks.
...Or at least, she WOULD have been honored if they hadn't heard yells and... Charice inwardly sighed. Halloween was the same way, somebody went and crashed it... do I have the worst luck, or something? Seriously. I fight people much stronger than I am, and both times I've been to a party and--
"Do you ever get the feeling that trouble follows wherever you go?" she asked, looking upwards (not THAT far upwards, she's not a midget) into Leon's face. But hang on, this trouble was hardly troublesome. One of the hosts was restraining the combatants and taking one out the door. "Oh. I guess compared to the last one, this party's tame in comparison." She grinned sheepishly. "Maybe it's not that bad..."
The music picked up again, and she grinned up into his face in what she hoped was a flirting manner. "Well then, where were we...?"

Take my hand as I wander through... ... All of my life, I gave to you. • ◄AKIHI► • ————————————————
"Well, I'm going to let you handle this Akihi! Good luck!"
His eyes widened with shock; the blush refused to leave Akihi's face. "Wh-what?! Wait! Joshua!! Y-you--"
"Akiiiiii... You still haven't answered the question!" Amara muttered in a (cutely) dark manner, tightening her grip on Akihi. "I want to knooooooooow..."
"Uh... Uh..." The mage shook his leg, trying to get the child off; this only caused the grip to tighten even more. He groaned to himself, pressing the heel of his hand against his forehead. The last thing he wanted to do was talk about his romantic experiences as a kid, back when he still played truth-or-dare and spin-the-bottle. "... Wh-why don't you ask your mother? She surely would know..."
"But Akiiiiiiii... I want to know now!" The little girl insisted, letting go of Akihi in order to tug on his arm. "Tell me, tell me, tell meeeeeeee..."
"It's... uh... uh... a-a secret."
"No it's not!"
"... Uh..."
"H-hey... You're Akihi, right...?"
Akihi heaved a huge sigh, turning towards the voice. Finally, some sort of distraction! "Mm... Sephas, was it...? It's nice to see you again..." He smiled softly, patting Amara gently on the head. "... Say, I know this is kind of sudden, but... can you answer my niece's question. I... don't know how to answer it." The mage carefully pulled his arm out of Amara's grip. ... I'm sorry for this. Really.
Amara tilted her head at the strange person. "Seph...as? Sephie?" She took a few steps towards him, wrapping her hands around his wrist to tug gently on his arm. "... Sephie, what's kissing like?"

Now what was happening? I wondered, as the strange words came out of the mage's mouth. There were tendrils, wrapping all around my body! This was extremely strange, possibly a little kinky to someone who liked it, but I didn't. This was disgusting. I struggled, of course I struggled, but it didn't do any good. My magical resistance was much, much too low to be able to escape this assault, and so I was stuck fast, with no option other than to accept the whims of whatever creature had assailed me, hoping only that it might not kill me.
My mind wandered, thinking of the last time this had happened, or something like this. Long, long ago, back when I had been a mercenary, it was. There had been a druid, and the druid had cast some sort of spell over me, sending me into like this alternate dimension or something. It was dark, I couldn't see. But creatures attacked, out of the darkness, flying and clawing and scratching, but I held them off with his trusty axe. I didn't lose, it wasn't me. And then I had found something strange and glowing and chopped it, and I emerged from the place holding the druid's head in my hand. It had been such a great battle that day.
And then Grado had found me and recruited me, and then I had gone with them, and I had become a general. And I never wanted to be a mercenary again, it was beneath me. I controlled armies, I was in a position of power, I was paid well. I loved all of it, and eventually I would be King. Yes, I would be King. The old king was sickly and the prince was weak, and my axe was always kept very sharp. Except then had come those two royals, and they had destroyed it all. All my dreams.
And Joshau was a royal too. And he'd never told Caellach. He was a horrible friend, really. I wasn't mad though. I would have liked if they could both be kings. Then there would be more war. Except this time I would know the person's strategy and I would easily win. Emperor was an even better title than King, wasn't it? Absolutely. And I could be a great emperor.
But now I was here. The snow had been cold, I had found his way to the castle from where I had entered, I didn't even know where I was. I knew magic had taken here, and I was angry. Very angry. It hadn't been my fault I had come in and tried to help out an ally. And I had not provoked the prince boy. I had just entered the conversation a little forcefully and been attacked. And I was blamed because I was new.
But the tentacles were still around me, and I was being carried out. Out the door, it looked like, because the door was open again, and a freezing breeze washed over me. My short brown hair waved just a little in the wind, and I tried to look up at it. I always had to look the proper part. The wind was blowing down my parted shirt, too, and it was cold. It was extremely cold. I didn't relish going out in it again, but I really didn't have a choice, because just then I was forcefully ejected from the room. There were stairs there, with some snow to pad my fall, but not much.
I knocked down the stairs, bumps and bruises accumulating over my person. It was exceedingly painful, though not as painful as many wounds I had suffered through the war, and I felt that I could take it, though I would likely ache in the morning. My axe pushed against me, and I felt a shallow cut in my side, and then I didn't feel anything when my head hit the next step, except I saw stars. And when I landed at the bottom of the steps everything was black for a while, and I couldn't move, I hoped that I didn't get paralyzed because then I couldn't fight.
But soon I was all right, able to stand up again, though I had a limp in one leg because that ankle had been twisted and I wouldn't be able to walk properly for some time. My side bled but I ignored it, because it wasn't a major injury, just a scratch really. So my axe came up again, over my shoulder, and I began to walk, moving off into the snow. I'd find somewhere to hide out and not freeze to death tonight, because it would not be good to die that way after escaping death like I had. Then later I would find the people who did this and get revenge on them. Killing them would not be a good idea, though, because then everyone here would hate me. I might just rough them up a little.
So I disappeared off into the mist. I looked really badass while doing it.
