CallieThe little Sneasel thought for a moment, and then shrugged. "I needed something to wipe his face off with... And my leaves were all I could think of," She explained. She was so willing to bring slight harm to her own body, just to make some Pokemon who apparently hated her feel better.

 Rayne
Rayne place her paws on her hips and then grumbled something obscene. "You are way too nice. It's gonna bite you later, but dont worry. I'll bite it back." She grabbed Callie by the arm, gently of course, and proceeded to lead the Sneasel out the plaza.

 - Echo - - Zephyr - Team Altitude had decided that today would be a nice time to.... bond? That's probably not the right word. Awkwardly stand next to each other surrounded in flowers. Yeah, that's better. Zephyr led, stomping through the flowers and the peace as Echo quietly followed behind, examining everything she possible could. No one even knows why Zephyr bothers to do this stuff anymore. He's not a friendly Pokemon to say the least. "Well, I might as well say this now. I'm not here to make 'friends', or 'play,' I just want to make sure we don't hate each other." A pause. He watched Echo stare intently at him. "I'm stuck with you for who knows however long, and we might as well make the best of it, and get involved with each other as much as possible, to learn battle tactics and the like, so we can work together." The Scyther sighed loudly as Echo didn't speak, and semi-rubbed his temples with the backs of his blade-hands.
"Look, I know you don't talk or whatever, but it's going to be a hard teammate relationship if I don't even know if you're listening to me." He glared at the orange Treecko. "I'm... sorry. Please believe that I won't ever not listen to you. I take your thoughts very seriously." She said, keeping eye contact with her team mate. Zephyr's stare softened, and he took a deep breath. "Well, I'll have to trust you." He nodded, then gestured towards a bench. (I'm assuming there's bench, okay? o.o) "Sit. I'd like to talk about the team, and what we're planning on doing, mission-wise." Echo obediently sat, and looked at the structure of the bench instead of at Zephyr. The Scyther sat down beside her, and they were both silent for a bit.

Marcus & VictorTeam Tolin strolled casually through the central plaza. They had been wandering around the Boundary Lands on their own after being dropped off by Donna, with a promise that she would be back later in the afternoon to pick them up. It had been a fun little trip for them, going from place to place. They spotted the fountain in the distance. " Hey, hey, Alexander. Let's head for the Fountain." Unfortunately for Victor, the Totodile had already charged off. He leapt up into the air and with a few flaps he was unsteadily gliding just above the ground. " I told you, it's Victor now." He had heard it in a passing conversation and had become rather taken with the name. Marcus suddenly flattened himself against the fountain, his entire body snuggled into the crack to try and keep himself out of sight. Victor followed the gaze to the Scyther and Treecko that sat on a bench. Really now, again...? He had done this every time they had run into a Scyther. He was always so obvious about it, as well; he didn't seem to realize just how far his jaw stuck out from the rest of his face. " Really, now. I..." Marcus hushed him with a finger as he continued to stare at the Scyther.

 - Echo - - Zephyr - "So here's how it's going to work around here. I know you're leader and all, but I'm making the decisions here. You won't mind probably, right?" Zephyr asked, slightly worried. He was kind of mean, but he didn't want to seem that way. A nod from his partner, and he continued talking. "Well, you see, I was thinking..." The Scyther heard some whispering by the fountain. He didn't really pay attention to it, and neither did Echo.
But Zephyr could feel eyes on him. Someone was staring, and he didn't like it. He looked around, and quickly spotted the snout of a Totodile sticking out from what was probably supposed to be a hiding spot. He frowned. "Hey, if you want to stare, go some place else. I'm not a museum exhibit. Or better yet, come out here and stare at me, just try it." He didn't like attention, even when it was the good kind. But either way, he still had some anger problems. Echo blinked.

Marcus & VictorMarcus was stunned when the Scyther called him out. He, evidently, had thought himself a master of stealth and subterfuge. He hadn't expected the man to have seen him. He stepped away from the fountain and walked over to the bench, his gaze turned downwards. Normally the Scyther that called him out were a bit aggressive, but this one seemed downright mean. It was hard for a child barely of his 8th year to meet the Scyther's gaze. He was very obviously a small child, although he was old enough that he should be able to speak and navigate on his own. Old enough for a rescue team, in some species. His mouth opened as he looked up at the Scyther, but the words seem to catch in his throat. Closing his jaw, and unsure of what to do, he looked back down at the ground. Oh good grief. It was always something like this. Every time. Thankfully, at the least, Scyther were fairly rare pokemon or he would have to deal with this every half hour. Victor hopped up to his companion, stopping slightly in front. " Excuse me, but might I ask your names?" He cocked his head slightly to the side. It was a topic of curiousity for the both of them; Marcus who was always on the lookout for a certain Scyther and the nameless Pidgey who always searched for the name that felt "right". ((Your post made me laugh in ways you don't understand.))

 - Echo - - Zephyr - Zephyr looked at the Pidgey and Totodile skeptically. Sure, they were kids or whatever, but that was no reason to be staring at someone weirdly. "Umm... Well, I'm Zephyr. This one doesn't talk." He gestured over to his partner, who waved lightly, and turned her head sideways to look at the two Pokemon. "She's Echo... well, at least I'm pretty sure. Like I said, she doesn't talk." He rolled his eyes, annoyed. She had never even said what she was. The Scyther just assumed it was a girl because her voice was light and airy. He's not really good with this stuff. Echo could be a forty year old Hariyama with a santa beard that likes little Smoochum!
Zephyr's tone lightened. "Um... is there a specific reason you'd like to know? Because truthfully, asking someone's name randomly could be taken as weird, or suspicious." Just remember the Hariyama! "Um, whatever. I already told you. Now, who are you?"

Marcus & VictorMarcus let out a sigh as the breath and tension escaped his body. So it wasn't him. He hopped up on the bench beside the both of them and sat down, wondering where to start. He was fortunate when Victor took over for him. " In his case, he was rescued by a Scyther once. Whenever he sees one, he starts wondering if it was that Scyther and he gets a little shy. I'm looking for a name for myself. That being said, please call me Victor for now. He's Marcus." He signaled to the Totodile with a slight tilt of his head. Marcus nodded. He turned to the Treecko and Scyther beside him (the bench was easily large enough to let him do so). " He's an old Scyther named Tolin. He rescued me from the Starter's Villa a long time ago, but I never got to meet him." He scratched his head with one hand. He clearly still felt a little awkward, although the much more friendly tone that Zephyr had embraced. " All I know is he's a Scyther in the guilds." He didn't know much else. Rescue Team members often didn't have much contact with their clients after the fact. (( Tolin))

 - Echo - - Zephyr - Zephyr coughed awkwardly. "Uh, well it's good that it's not me, because I don't think I could take that much pressure. Plus I don't want some kid thinking I'm his idol." And he didn't want the adulation, coming back to the attention thing. "Um, well nevertheless, it's... nice... to know you, and Marcus. I guess..." It was still weird though, to him.
Echo turned her head to smile and Marcus briefly, before staring out into the garden again. Zephyr felt sorry for himself for having to deal with this. "Uh, I'm sorry about her, she's... doesn't feel the need to be included." He shrugged. "Hm. I don't know of any other Scyther besides myself. But then again, I haven't really gotten the chance to freely walk around the guild." Echo turned towards the Totodile. "I think I saw him somewhere in the guild. So don't give up hope, he's out here somewhere. I'm sure you'll find him." Echo said sympathetically. It always felt nice to help someone, no matter the situation. But, that seemed like enough speaking for her, and she didn't say any more.

Marcus & VictorMarcus nodded. His own attitude had considerably brightened in the face of Zephyr's anxiety. Seeing the Scyther anxious made him think that he wasn't such a bad guy after all. " It's good to meet you too!" It was a simplistic, honest and overly vigorous statement that only a child could conceive or deliver. Alexander nodded his assent alongside Marcus. " Yes, it's a pleasure to meet you. Though, Zephyr, I have a request if I might. Would you mind if I borrowed your name?" Marcus's head shook up and down violently in a nod as if he were a door stopper given a flick. " Yep! I'm sure he's out there somewhere right now helping people. I probably haven't run into him because he's busy all the time!" He said it enthusiastically, as if he hadn't a shred of doubt. Of course, he didn't know just how close he was to the truth; a truth that was, honestly, much different from the world of children that he lived in so happily. The truth in which he had been wrenched from the hands of a mother who thought he was her child. Wrenched by a Scyther who had left a path of injury and destruction in his wake, if only out of necessity. How many people in the Villa had died that day, or because of it? Southern Cross had injured at least a good twenty. Some quite severely. None died immediately, but... Of course, for the childish Marcus, none of this ran past his mind. His hero was the one who came in and saved him from the bad guys. The one who came in gallant and shining to save the innocent and injured. Nothing more and certainly nothing less. Certainly nothing of the Scyther who had become wrapped in the matters of killing God for a crap shoot at seeing the next year. None of this ever touched upon the thoughts of a child too innocent to understand fighting. ((For the record, I was talking about one of these. If you've never had them before, then if you pull them to the sides and let them go they vibrate back and forth at incredibly high speeds and make this weird/awesome sound. They move fast enough if pulled back adequately to leave behind a noticeable afterimage, or what have you.))

 - Echo - - Zephyr - "B-borrow my name? Like... use it as your own?" Zephyr paused. Was this really a good idea? He could use it... and rob the Swap Shop or something! And in his name! Then he could be drinking coffee and a random Magnemite would arrest him. "No! Of course not! You have your own name, it's Victor!" He yelled. Echo gave him a stern look, and he groaned. Since when were they married? "Alright, fine. You did say you were looking for a name for yourself, didn't you?" It wouldn't be so bad. Just look at the Pidgey! He doesn't really seem like someone who would steal stuff, does he? Or his partner! No, he wouldn't commit a crime, that's for sure. Too childish. How old were these two again?

Marcus & VictorVictor nodded. " Yes, if you wouldn't mind..." He shuffled uncomfortably at the Scyther's agitation. " If it's too much trouble, it's fine.." He ruffled his wings slightly. He decided it would be a good time to, if any time at all, explain why it was he was looking for a name. " You see, my parents never gave me a name. They never thought it was important... so I came to the guilds hoping I could find one that fit me." Marcus nodded beside him. " Yep! He only started calling himself Victor a couple hours ago!" The Totodile nodded ecstatically again. It seemed to be something he did often. " He heard it in a passing conversation and he decided he liked it." Victor nodded, not seeing a problem with that in any way. " Yes, if it's a common name I usually adopt it as my own. Though, with cases like yours, especially after we started talking to you..." it would seem rude. Rare names were practically a property to their owner and it would be rude to name yourself after them without regard, especially if you knew them.

 - Echo - - Zephyr - [ ooc:// eep, it's kind of hard for me to get online at certain times. so you don't have to wait anymore, i'll just end it here. ]
"No... It's not really too much trouble. I mean, if you think Zephyr would fit you, go ahead and try it." He shrugged. Truthfully, if there were two Zephyrs, he wouldn't enjoy having someone be confused about which was was which. He didn't really know what VIctor did. He could be a mass murderer or something, then blame him for it! No, no. It couldn't be. He just passed off names without second thought. For Victor, it was apparently only a couple of hours.
Zephyr shrugged his shoulders again. "Well, you never know until you try?" Zephyr was just saying that. He knew that the Pidgey would just blow off the name for a name like George or something. Which was completely alright with him. "Just don't go causing trouble with my name, you hear!?" He said, standing up and putting on a scary face before returning to his seated position. "Welp, it's about time for us to go, I'm getting hungry and food it more important than some random socializing. You understand, right? Anyway, nice meeting you two. Maybe we'll see each other around, I don't know." He stood up, nodded to Echo, and watched as the Treecko hopped off the rather tall bench and nod to the two Pokemon.

Ⱦeam Ðaɍksţaɍ ~✭ XXXXXXX—¤÷(` Pamela ´)÷¤—Pamela strolled down the plaza, heading to the fountain. Her pink gem shining brightly. Gracefully like a feline, she sat down at the edge of the fountain. Her paw was swaying back and forth on the water while sighing. She felt a bit lonely. Maybe some fresh air could freshen her up.
