"There are times where it is best to forget, but if someone repeats the same mistake they made then it was their fault for not learning what they could from the first time." Well now Randall was finding himself a bit behind, he couldn't help it he was getting a bit tired, still he could go on. "Let them do what they want then, but it would be better to rest up so we can make an even faster travel from this area." He had to smile at her agreement, it was better than nothing. "Alright I'll take it, five is better than none." Though he looked around, they should travel just a bit more before stopping so with a small burst of speed Randall kept on moving.

"But you gave it to Elda. What's going on between you two anyway? She says she wants to make love with you." Glancing over at him and then sticking her tongue out. "You shouldn't have done that. I have this now!" Pointing to the dagger mark on her face and then laughing it off as she moved on up the path. "Orresith is scared of little ol' me? I'll have to tell Asanna."

"Sometimes one needs to see it in detail more than once to see exactly what the mistake was." She paused for a moment at the pricked ears of the wolf next to them, listening for a moment before a word to the wolf that casually laid down and key went about pressing down the long grass. "Alright, we'll rest here for the night if you need to do so. The grass this thick, most things do not hunt in it."
"She's stalking me, I think." Shrugging his shoulders to that, not that he really cared. Some women were crazy possessive in these mountains. Or just plain crazy. Given his young age, he particularly didn't care. It was funny to watch sometimes though. "Oh boo hoo, it'll heal in a day. And I'm not scared of you, I just don't like that drowning feeling personally. What's she going to do?"

There was no way Randall could win in an argument with Key, it seemed every time he could counter what she said, she had a counter to his counter. After thinking such a thing Randall deduced that the reason he wasn't doing so well in their little talk was that he was tired, yes he was tired and needed to rest for the next day. But when Key suddenly paused Randall stopped right after since he would of walked right into her if he wasn't paying attention. When both elf and wolf settled down into the grass he had to raise an eyebrow before reach for his pack. "Alright then, that sounds good to me." So he took out a blanket and settled down next to Key and her wolf; he knew that if he got something in him as soon as he could after waking up, he would be able to keep up with Key without a problem. But right now ti was better to rest so with a small mumble that said, "G'night," Randall closed his eyes and that was that.

"So you don't want to make love with her? Why not? Don't you think she's pretty?" But he was being difficult, wasn't he? Her hand gently moved over the wound on her face and she shrugged. "You are too scared of me or you'd come swimming. You just don't want to admit it, but you are. Who knows about Asanna. Maybe she'll tell everyone that you're afraid and then they'll mess with you. Or maybe you'll have to do something really dangerous to prove you aren't a big scaredy elf."

As Rycek made herself comfortable, Key made herself comfortable between the wolf's massive forlegs and paws, leaning back against the creatures shoulder as the wolf rested her head to the side on on her paws to accomodate the elf. "May the stars watch over us all." Closing her eyes she gave off the appearance of sleep, but of course she was doing anything but that.
"She's pretty. I'm just not interested." He rolled his eyes again as she continued to be annoying. It was just her thing. "Keep telling yourself that Shaeleon. You just keep right on thinking that. It will make it easier for me to sneak up and slit your throat when you're not paying attention to me." He sighed as she kept babbling and eventually reached out, grabbing her by her new pretty pendant and started pulling. "Come on, we're going back. Asanna will want us back for dinner. She had a whole new round of strange, probably poisionous, things to give us."

Di'a smiled with a hint of melancoly, "I have taken no vows... I am not a Sister... You can just call me Di'a... I was ward here for several years..." She said whistling and a young girl came running from the stables, "Please take Mister..." she paused and laughed, before turning to him with an apologetic smile, "I am so sorry but I don't think I caught your name..." She gave the horse over to the young girl who led it back to the stables to be spoiled by the ladies who worked there.

"Lucan. Captain Lucan De'Lere. It is a pleasure to meet you, Di'a."
watching the other girl take the horse to what'd he'd assume to be the stables, he placed his hands behind his back in idly fashion, walking with his hostess.
"I was not aware that the sisters here took in orphans. I thought this was strictly more of a convent tye situation then that. I mean I know they tend to travelers, hence my visit, but was unaware they tended children that were not already avowed to becoming a Sister."

"If you think she's soo pretty, why wouldn't you want to do things with her? That doesn't make any sense, Orr. And you always like to make sense." Squeaking in outrage as he grabbed her pendant, she slapped at his hand. "That's fragile! Besides, before your dagger even reached my throat, you'd have mine in your tummy." But he was being a loser and ruining her plans, and she stalked off after him. "Fine, fine. But later we're so going swimming. And you're coming too."

Di'a smile was a bit wry when she said, "I am a bit of a special case... My mother was a part of a caravan who came here... but no one was sure if she was a traveler or a woman who was to sworn to the convent." She shruged, "If my mother had been sworn I would have been a child of a convent... if my mother had been a traveler I would have been sent to the woman's family, or adopted out... The Mother here... at the time was still just a new Sister and had lost her child right before she had come so she weaned me... and I became a daughter to the convent without vows... The former Mother allowed it... and now I am grown... so it is time for me to leave... But this place will always be home... and I will miss my mothers... But I am not willing to surrender my life to Convent without having first seen something beyond it..."

Watching her a moment and listening, before shaking his head lightly.
"While I do admire the resolve to see the world outside, I would be lax in my judgement to tell you there maybe thing beyond the walls of your home that you may see that you'll wish you never did. There is much anger, and hate, and sorrow to the world that your convent is sheltered from."
giving a glance to her...and not to mention she was a lovely young lady, and the world still had it's darker parts that would love to exploit and twist that beauty into something less then pleasent.

Di'a looked at him, "If given the choice would you give all the things you have learned and enjoyed just forget the evils you have found?" she asked, "It is as the Sisters teach when we learn the sesera... We learn to weild a weapon, we get hurt, but we keep going, enjoying the tiny sucess as we master each skill... the company we learn in, knowing that one day we may have to kill without hesitation with the very skills we now enjoy..." she shrugged, "Is that not also an evil we will have to face... But the skill we learn can someday protect ourselves and other... to every darkness there is a light..." she handed both the seseras to Marie as she came to tell D'ia that dinner was ready, "But rarely are they even... you just need to find and appreciate that light..." Her smile was a little sheepish as she said, "I am sorry to sound so much like the Sisters... I know how I felt when they lectured me so... Let me show you to the dinning hall as an apology..."

"there are days that I would give up all the potential good things I've known, to forget some of the things I've seen. I understand your words, but believe me there is a world of difference between talking about having to kill, and actually doing the deed."
following behind her to the dining hall, and giving a small smile to her.
"If you'll indulge my curiosity, where were you planning to go to first in your endeavor to see the world?"

Di'a hesitated, she had decided to put as positive of a face on the Mother's command as she could. But in all honesty she had never though stepping beyond the Sister's borders, "I don't know..." D'ia said, "I suppose I'll just pick a path a see where it leads me..." How on earth was someone supposed to follow a fate their neither cared for nor understood?

"So you wish to see the world, but have no place in mind you'd wish to go to? don't you have a library, maps or anything? it seems a bit..unreliable to want to see the world and not have someplace in mind to go. the world is a dangerous place to be wandering in."
Pulling out a chair for her just in case she was going to get something to eat, before seating himself just in case she wasn't. he could use a good meal himself. something besides military rations for a change.
