 ChanceThe young Gligar shivered for a moment.
Holy hell, that Shuppet could be scary.
"I-It's ok-k-kay..." He stuttered nervously.
He hadn't wanted to ever frustrate her, but now he was afraid of just interacting too much with her.
Shame, since Gliscor are supposed to be such scary Pokemon.

 ~Claudia~Dammit, dammit, dammit, now he was afraid of her. This would not do one bit, it was no fun when they only did what she wanted out of fear. "Oh dear, it looks as if I've frightened you~ I am terribly sorry." She looked down at the table, pretending to be completely ashamed of herself. Soon, the Snorunt returned with the two bowls of soup. Time to make a better impression, Claudia turned to the Snorunt who flinched, "Thank you ever so much~" The Snorunt looked shocked for a few moments then muttered something that sounded very much like "Whatever, freak" Claudia shot it a look that could kill, and it quickly ran off. She looked up at Chance, but then quickly looked back down at her soup, doing her best to fake a blush, and began chewing quietly on the leek that was sticking out of the side of the bowl.

ChanceChance calmed down a little as Claudia seemed to get nicer.
He tried to grab at one of the spoons so he could sip the soup, but his claws just weren't made for holding utensils.
With a sigh, he pushed the soup aside for a later time.
When he saw a slight blush on her face, he titled his head to the side.
"I'm sorry, is something wrong?" He asked.

~Claudia~Claudia swallowed the last of the leek and looked up at Chance. The truth was, she was starting to get bored, the Gligar didn't have much to offer by the looks of it. Oh well, she'd give it a few more minutes or so, "Oh it's nothing, I just feel bad that I got off on the wrong foot with you." She started contemplating a way out of this... then she noticed the small bag of money. This just might start to get interesting...

"Oh! I'm sorry about that, too," He replied.
"But, we're fine now, right?" Chance then asked.
"Doesn't matter how we met, as long as we're friends now~"

~Claudia~Claudia smiled, "Right, friends," She let her eyelids droop a little, a more seductive look spreading across her face. She floated a little closer to him, "You know... you're quite the gentleman, taking me out to dinner and everything. Not to mention, you're easy on the eyes...~" She leaned in close to his face studying his eyes closely, and studying how far away that bag of money was.

ChanceAt this new tone from Claudia, Chance stared at the Shuppet and his face went bright red.
"I, um, well, I..." he stuttered nervously, turning his head to hide his blushed and nervously tapping his claws together.

~Claudia~Oh-ho this was rich! That poor Gligar was putty in her non-existent hands! He was just so freaking gullible, and Cluadia figured it was time she gave him a cold dose of reality. She leaned in even closer, resting her forehead on his, "Maybe I want to be more than friends." She closed her eyes, drew her lips closer to his, and....NOW! A quick Trick, and the bag of money was in her possession. With a cynical grin she fired a Confuse Ray point blank into Chance's face. She laughed maniacally and began to rise into the air, "I hate to cut this little 'date' of ours short, hun. But I fear you've worn out your usefulness, see ya round!~" And with that, the manipulative little b***h was gone.

 Chance---&--- LisaChance just stared blankly as the Confuse Ray took effect.
He wobbled around a little before something grabbed him.
"You little s**t! Where's the money?!" Lisa shouted as she hoisted the confused Gligar into the air.
"Claudia... Shuppet... Pretty...~" Chance replied.
Lisa let out an angry hiss and dropped the Gligar before zooming out the door to hunt the thief down.
How dare that rotten b***h steal HER prize?!

 .::Rem::.Rem floated into the diner, looking around happily. Then again, he was usually happy to be wherever he was at the time. Rem buzzed over to a free table, and waited patiently for a waiter to come by and take his order. This seemed like a very nice place to come and eat. The glass tables, especially, he thought. A Snorunt came up to him, asking for his order. Rem glanced over the menu. "The Vegetarian Special with Iced Poffins, please," he said pleasantly. The Snorunt nodded, then trotted off. Rem sat in anticipation for his meal.

 JezzloreJezzlore didn't really know where she was going. Quite frankly, she was lost and having a grand time exploring all the different stores and such lined up outside the Palace walls. Her team might get miffed but it would be okay; she'd just hug away all the bad! Smiling in a lighthearted fashion, she zipped into the Diner, her wings beating so quickly they were naught but a purple blur. As of yet the stores had been practically deserted but here... here she found a Nincada! He looked really neat-o too. Without even a hint of hesitation, the tiny Yanma glided over to the Pokemon and landed softly on his head. "Hi my name's Jezzlore, who are you?" she said cheerfully.

.::Rem::.Rem was just wondering where his meal was when-- OMGWHATTHEHELLISONMYHEAD?? Rem flinched spastically, almost dislodging the poor Yanma. He looked up- with some difficulty- at the Yanma looking down at him. Gradually, he processed what the girl had said. Rem was puzzled at this point. An interesting way to introduce yourself, isn't it? Finally, Rem just decided to be polite and respond. "My... my name is Rem. Rem Hallen. Nice to meet you... ah... Jezzlore." At this time, the waiter had returned with Rem's meal. He looked between Rem and Jezzlore, and, raising an eyebrow, set down his meal, bowed slightly, and tottered off. Rem flushed slightly. Well... that was embarrassing...

JezzloreFluttering her transparent wings, she barely managed to maintain her perch what with all the movement. Well, she supposed she really should have expected that. Normally one didn't simply sit down on another Pokemon's head after all. Oh well, at least he wasn't yelling at her so that had to be good, right? Smiling brightly, her own emerald eyes met his light green. As soon as the Nincada spoke, the Yanma made a soft clicking sound like that of laughter. "Rem? That's a really cool name! Mine's a bit long so feel free to call me Jezzy, or Lore, or anything else you can think of." she rushed out all in one breath. Staring at the waiter who was blatantly staring back at her as if she were crazy, she raised a small leg and waved, earning a roll of the eyes as a reward. Glancing back down, she came to the realization that it might be a bit difficult for the other bug type to ear what with her standing where she was. "Oh, um, oops. I'll just move over here." In the blink of an eye Jezzlore was perched delicately on the back of the opposite chair.

.::Rem::.Rem listened to the Yanma, then sighed lightly when she moved to the other chair. At least I'll be able to hear, now. He listened to the Yanma- Jezzlore, he corrected himself- as she prattled on. He felt a little surge of pride at her compliment. "Well, thank you. You have a very nice name, too, ah... Jezz," he said, getting to his meal. Before he took a bite, however, he looked at Jezzlore. He hadn't considered the possibility of someone joining him. He hmmed slightly. "Did you... want something to eat? Or drink?" he asked tentatively.

JezzloreWow, what a polite Pokemon. There was rarely ever polite Pokemon now-a-days. Not that she really knew what 'back then' might have been like but she suspected they might have been better. Regardless, one was much more likely to receive a glare or seething lecture for pulling what she just did. "Why thank you! Tons tell me it's weird for some reason but I like it well enough." she admitted. Blinking at the second question, the Yanma found herself vaguely embarrassed for the first time in the entirety of their meeting. "Ehehe... I'm broke. No, that's a lie. I'm not trusted with money in the first place since I tend to buy littl trinkets and give them away." Laughing it off a bit, she continued, "Go ahead, I'll try not to bother ya too much." However the little spark of interest and excitement had yet to show even the slightest hint of growing dimmer.
