[[was away all weekend anyway ^ ^]]
Atem was going to pull his hand away but Akila held onto it. He couldn't pull away now- she would know it bothered him. So he kept his hands locked with hers. It was still awkward- even though he has done this with other girls. Girls he hasn't even really liked all that much, so what was the difference? Besides that perhaps he would have to be with Akila for life or that they both knew they hated each other. Atem did notice she smiled, which seemed genuine but he knew she was only pretending, but also that she looked away after wards. "I think now would be a good time to relax. And I can't think of a better way then to spend time with you," he said slightly romantically. It was romantic but still fake- even though it came out perfectly fine. He took her hand and began to walk with her to the garden.
Jono growled underneath his breath when Seth insulted him. Well things weren't too different he guessed- the insults and belittling were still there. "I just got a little bored. And curious," he explained at first. However then he narrowed his eyes a little and replied, "Hey I'm not ungrateful. I respect the fact that I can eat and drink and rest." He vaguely hinted at the fact that Seth seemed to never be grateful for anything.
"But don't you want to swim with me? You're hair will look fine!" Amme said happily. Amme couldn't help but giggle a little at his hair. Not to make fun of him, but because it was kinda cute. Her giggles turned to laughs when his hair flattened out again. "I'm not sneaky I'm clever," she said jokingly. She turned away slightly from him when he splashed back to try and block the water a little. "Aw I like your hair down, it's interesting. But I guess I like it up as well," she said as wiped a fair off a little.

It was a sweet thing to say and he said it so smoothly. Of course Akila knew he didnt mean it but she wished she had someone to actually say these things and mean it. But she would rather never find someone to love her then settle for loving this prince. She kept her smile, trying to react like someone who would be excited to spend time with him, but it was becomming increasingly hard. There was so much tension building up because of all their fakeness and irritation. "I'd like that a lot my prince..." She did her best to sound happy.
Seth snorted, like he didnt believe he was gratefull. "You act like you have it so bad here. Dont you realize no other person in this palace would put up with you? Youre LUCKY to have me for a master." He said with a bit of arrogance. He said this stuff often, like he was trying to convince Jono to stay but he did it in a demeaning angry way.
Atsu blushed when she started laughing and giggled a little too but still felt kind of embarressed. "See youre laughign at me!" He laughed again. Then as she was blocking the water he moved over and scooped her up in his arms as she complimented him. "Thanks... I think... " He said with a chuckle. "But youre still going to be punished for laughing at the prince." he joked and walked to deeper water before throwing her up in the air to land in the water.

"I'm glad," he said a began walking with her towards the garden. He had to really try and concentrate on making her break. Originally he was going to make her so angry that she would have to lash out at him, but that wasn't doing it. And even though it was good to get back with her, it almost felt like he was pushing her around. Even after all the fights they had in the past, all the stupid and even hurtful things she said, it still felt a little wrong to him. Besides, he felt he got a better reaction from her when he flirted with her. He noticed the little subtle reactions. She hated him so much that even being nice to her like this was enough to make her break and snap at him. He had to deal with this illusion that they could be happy in order to win this game. No matter how strange the feeling was he had to concentrate on his goal. He rubbed her hand slightly with his thumb while holding it. "So what is my love's favorite flower? It must be one as beautiful as she is," he said beginning to flirt with her again. He actually already knew what her favorite was, but he was positive she didn't know that he knew. There was quite a few things he knew about her, he remembered all the things she ever told him. He wasn't sure why he retained such information, he just figured he had a keen sense of memory.
"Gahhh!" Jono made a noise as he pointed at Seth and spoke, "No other person would treat me like you do! I'm pretty sure you're the cruelest and snobbiest person in this whole palace..... no, in all of Egypt!" If Seth had decent intentions behind his sentence then Jono completely saw the opposite. Nothing had changed, this was the same Seth. He probably just did what he did before to keep him here longer and just to torment him. He then crossed his arms and said, "No one is my master." It was interesting, Jono would do what Seth said, even though he may give him some lip for it- but he would never admit that he was owned by anyone. His pride would not let him. He fooled himself and would tell himself that the reason he did such things was to survive. If he did what he was told he could eat, drink, and sleep. Of course this afternoon proved that to be only half right.
That just made her giggle a little more. "I'm not laughing at you, just with you!" she said trying to convince him. She was a little shocked when he went behind her and scooped her up. But she started laughing and kicking her feet, "Hahaha put me down! No no!" Before she knew it he threw her into the water. She was prepared for it though, she knew that is what was coming. Sometimes she forgot that he was this strong. Not that she thought Atsu was weak, he just never showed it off that much. He was so calm and gentle- she preferred him that way anyway. She swam back up and wrung out her hair a little and swam back to him. "Punished? After all the time I healed you when you were sick and hurt? I don't think that's very fair," Amme put her hands on his shoulders then pushed down to dunk him. It took her some strength but she did it.

She was getting more and more nervous as they were walking towards the garden. She hated that he was such a smooth talker and good at this. The it reminded her he probably did this all the time with a lot of women. That hurt to think about. "oh um I like the hibiscus..." She said almost shyly. She was never shy around him before. This was getting so irritating. She smiled and moved to wrap her arms around his one arm very cuddly like as she leaned her head against his shoulder. "I love spending time with you my prince." She lied, trying to win this game.
Seth stood up completely and moved closer to Jono, looking like a predator eyeing his prey. "So how would you rather me treat you? Huh Jono?" He said with a smirk and a low amused chuckle as he got closer and closer.
Atsu laughed and stuck his tongue out at him as she said it wasnt fair. He wrapped his arms around her and brought her under with him as she ducked him. As they resurfaced he still had his arms wrapped around her. He laughed a little and couldnt help but blush since they were so close. But he liked it.

Atem let a victorious grin cross his face. Shyness? Not only was it almost cute but it was working. Even though this was all fake he felt like he was breaking her spirit- like one would to a wild horse. In that sense, it was exhilarating. But something still felt off. Yes she would be cooperative but she wasn't herself. Atem shook his head for a moment, did it really matter that much to him? It wasn't like they were in love with each other. "Why exactly do you like spending time with me?" he questioned but in a romantic way. He had to hold back a laugh from the thought of her having to answer that. They finally reached the entrance to the garden. He planned to stroll through there and find her a hibiscus.
Jono backed away slightly at first. He clenched his fists and shouted back at Seth, "Like a damn human being!" Jono's eye twitched a little as he stared at Seth. He stood over him dark, cool, and collected while Jono was getting emotional. But for good reason- he wanted to be treated fairly and with respect. Not like someone's throw away thing. Sadly, nobody would think such things. He was labeled as a slave- his thoughts and wishes were ridiculous. But not to Jono himself, they made perfect sense.
Atsu brought her down with him while she dunked him. She automatically put her arms loosely around him as well. It was just an instinct. But when they came back up she moved her arms away from him. Yes, she loved being this close but she knew it was wrong. Not only that but she was very paranoid that they would be caught- no matter how innocent this was. Amme liked being this close with him, but at the same time it made her sad because she knew it couldn't happen. So she simply smiled and moved her hands slowly to Atsu's arms and moved them to free herself from him.

Akila almost stopped dead in her tracks after he asked that. What the hell was she supposed to say?! She hated everything about him! Maybe she could use this to insult him in some way. "Isnt it obvious pince Atem? You are going to be Pharaoh. Youre the most powerful man in Egypt. And my future husband. Not to mention how handsome you are. You are very important to me." She said with a charming smile, focusing only on superficial stuff and nothing actually about him as a person.
Seth like making people feel uncomfortable like this. It made him feel in control when their emotions went crazy and his stayed calm. "There is one thing you seem to forget over and over again Jono." He started before grabbing him and throwing him on the bed, holding him down with his hands. "You are indeed below me and dont have the right to be treated as a human. You dont deserve it. And furthermore I AM your master and you shall do what I command until the day you lose your pathetic life." He lectured in an almost threatening way.
Atsu was enjoying their little moment, and was not thrilled when she pulled away. He chuckled a little sadly. "I like spending time with you Amme." He said. Why couldnt he stop thinking about being with her. He always told himself they could only be friends but as soon as he was with her he forgot about all that and just wanted to be able to marry her and touch and kiss her. He tried and tried, no matter how hopeless.

She struggled, he could tell. But she was able to come out with something. And strangely enough, he wasn't satisfied with her response. It actually showed on his face. But what was he expecting to hear? Yes, all were true, his pride agreed with her. But that's what every other girl told him. It was all the same. Akila didn't know that..... did she? Did she just come up with it or was she trying to get to him? He looked away and let go of her. He walked toward the hibiscuses he was looking for. Atem mumbled under his death to Osiris to let him have a flower. He attempted to pick the flower and it broke off easily. He thanked the god and returned to Akila with it. Atem walked behind her and played with her hair slightly, "Don't move," he said lowly. He tied the flower into her hair, once in place he wrapped his arms around her loosely and whispered in her ear, "A beautiful flower for an equally beautiful woman." This time, his words came out a lot more easier and almost genuine. It was something he would say to someone that he loved, if there was someone out there he did in fact love.
It was a surprise to Jono when he was thrown down on the bed. His eyes widened from fear and shock, his heart pounded and his body shook- his body was mentally ready to fight back if needed. Problem was, Seth was very strong. He was able to keep him down no problem. The more Seth spoke the angrier and wilder Jono looked. It shone in his eyes, the same eyes a beast would hold. He wanted to beat Seth, he wanted to show him who was below who. But he couldn't move, if he forced Seth would have him where he wanted. But anger got the best of him, so Jono spat up at Seth- hitting him in the face. "I am my own man, I need no master. You'll never truly own me!" he said in a dark growl. "I'm not staying here the rest of my life, count on that," he added.
Amme smiled a lot and replied, "I really like spending time with you too." She looked up for a moment at the sun beating down on them. She put her hand up to block the sun going into her eyes. "I hope we can always find time for each other....." she said in a slightly lower voice. She frowned for a moment at herself. She shouldn't have let a selfish statement like that slip out. He was going to be married some day and will have to devote his time to his wife. That was the correct thing to do right? So then why did she feel so jealous at the idea? Being out here alone was arising these thoughts and feelings she tried so hard to keep hidden and buried.

Akila looked to see if her words had effected him at all. She didnt think he would even get it. He probably only valued the things she had mentioned anyway. She could have gone on and on about his gentleman like ways and charming smile and strong powerfull composure that would make any girl melt. Not that she thought those things! She panicked mentally when she had realized what she was thinking. She didnt even realize just how much she was falling for this act, how much she was enjoying this even. She never had a boy care for her, she wasnt allowed near any. So it was really special, even if it was fake. But why did it have to be her worst enemy? He did look a little disapointed and she was glad. Then he walked away and she eyed him curiously. Was he giving up? She almost felt sad when he was walking away from her, but he soon returned, and played with her hair, putting a flower in it. She shivered and blushed from his touch. She giggled and smiled, leaning into his touch like she would do with someone lovingly. Her eyes had been shut for a moment but they snapped open and she moved away from him quickly. She looked at him with a very confused look but then remembered their bet and quickly gave him an unsure smile and took his hand. "Thank you prince, shall we continue our walk?" She said. Her mind was too destracted to go on the offense in this challenge yet. Why was she acting like this?
Seto loved the sight of Jono right now. He was so wild and untamed. It got him excited and he felt challenged. However he was more then pissed off when Jono spit in his face. He glared at him and growled. "You little..." He didnt even finish his sentence, he smacked him, hard across his face. Then he pulled him by his hair up and threw him to the floor. He whiped his face. "I'm sick of your disobediance!" He said and gave him a swift kick. Only minutes before had he only cared about Jono's safety and now he was hurting him. Why did he do this? He fret over Jono's health and losing him but he was the one always hurting him.
Atsu smiled back, happily this time. "Dont worry, I'll always make time for you..." He said. He swam a little closer. he couldnt help himself. He quickly leaned forward and pressed his lips against her's softly. He had his hand carressing her face as he did this. He had never been the one to kiss the girl. He was always too nervous or was only focoused on Amme. Sure girls and snuck kisses from him but it was usually because they mistaked him for Atem. He made it quick because he was sure she would pull away but he felt like time was running out and he needed that. So he stole the kiss and then looked at her, curious for her reaction. Would she be mad? No matter her reaction he knew it was worth it to him but he hoped she wouldnt be upset with him, or disgusted. He didnt know if he could live if that happened. He knew this was wrong but his feelings overcame any rationality he possessed.

He heard Akila giggle as she leaned into him. At first he thought she was just acting. But then she moved away from him and gave him that look. He felt both victorious and let down. He shouldn't, he should be happy he was able to throw her off. He smiled at her none the less and held her hand, "Of course." He wasn't sure how apparent his feelings were- he felt he hid them well. Atem looked at Akila for a moment with a sense of sorrow. Why was he getting so emotional over this game? What was he searching for? And did it really matter? Once she lost and remained here she would just give him hell, if not more of it for the way he treated her. He looked away from her, trying to regain his control. But in a way, he just wanted to have a conversation with her- one where she is neither acting fake or ready to kill him. "Personally, I like the irises, there's the only flowers that look beautiful in the dark as well as in the light," he said. He did not hold any tone to his voice, it was a normal genuine voice. However he did not look at her when he said it.
Jono didn't even see Seth's hand come down on him, it was so fast. However he felt the powerful hit. It felt like no other hit he's felt before- it was like smashing his face into a ton of slates. He let out a scream when his hair was pulled. He instinctively tried to grab Seth's hand and loosen his grip. To no avail, he was thrown to the hard ground and kicked in the gut. Why did he even stay here? Why was he still here? He loved his mother and tried to do what she told him to but he couldn't. He was going to die here a broken man. Outside the palace couldn't be as bad as this. Jono curled into a ball to try and ease the pain. He looked up at Seth, rage still in his eyes. "You can break all my bones and I would still never listen or accept you as a master," he insulted him. He ended his sentence with a chain of coughs. He had to fight back, why was he holding back from fighting him?
Amme absolutely did not expect him to do what he just did. She should have pushed him away at first but she didn't. Her mind just froze up, how could she think straight when she was being touched like this? Her heart tensed and sunk into her stomach, but it wasn't a bad feeling. He kissed her quickly, any longer and she would have came to on her own. Amme backed away a little and kept her arms close to her body. She didn't look at him at first, for some reason she thought in doing that it would hide the heavy blush that was on her face. Suddenly she realized something. Her head darted around quickly. What if someone saw? That's what she was petrified of- someone seeing them and saying something. But nobody was there, nobody saw, but she still felt horribly guilty. "Atsu.....uh..." she stuttered at first not even sure what to say. "Why did you do that?" was the only thing that could form from her lips. She couldn't simply believe that the person she held dear returned feelings for her. He couldn't, he was a prince. She was just so confused, at the situation and at herself.

Akila tried to focous on her task here but it seemed they could actually have a normal conversation, and while she couldnt understand why she was feeling the need to do that with him she just had to. She cant remember them ever having a normal conversation. "Yeah, the purple ones are nice. They match your eyes." She commented with a small smile, not looking at him either.
Still defiant, just as Seth expected. "I dont see why you have so much pride. Youre just a slave. It isnt like you are important at all." He said and moved to pin him down on the ground, putting his knees on either side of him and holding his hands above his head with one hand. He wondered if the boy would respond to a different sort of touch. He took his other hand and traced it down the side of his face and then over his chest.
He saw the horrified look on her face and he felt a sting to his chest. He wanted to crawl in a hole and die. But he couldnt let it ruin their friendship. So he just gave a smile and floated on his back like it was no big deal. "It was just a friendly kiss..." He forced himself to say. He felt like he wanted to cry. So they were just friends. Well at least now maybe he could move on... he thought sadly.
((So Atsu can feel rejected and maybe try to focous on marrying other girls and then she gets kidnapped and all that stuff))

[[I was looking to see what the views were of homosexuality in Ancient Egyptian times. Not much was said about it- they are unsure. But there is a story about Set and Horus being together. I loled XD Set.... Seth XP.]]
Atem turned back his head after her response. It actually came out legit. It didn't have the obvious fake tone to it. There was something almost wonderful about it. "Thank you," he said with a small smile. "I knew you liked hibiscuses, you used to collect them when you were younger. Heh, the workers in the garden used to get mad when you nearly took all of them," he said with a small chuckle at the end of his sentence. "I.... always thought it was cute....." he said in a fading voice. Why did he say that? Now after their game she'll just tease him for that. He didn't want to say that, it just came out naturally. This wasn't right, he should be trying to make her mad and make her lose this game. Instead he was taking the opportunity to be nice and friendly with her. This was ridiculous! Why do this with someone who hated him!?
"You're wrong Seth. I'm alive and on this Earth. There has to be a reason why, more then this. More then doing every little mediocre thing you want!" he exclaimed back at him. Jono was self-important, and that's all that mattered to him. He felt like he had a destiny but can't find it because he was trapped here. Jono's eyes widened when Seth pinned him down and caressed him. "Wha..... what are you doing?" he asked him partially confused partially nervous. He's taken beatings from him before, he's pinned him to the wall and floor but never by means of getting on top of him. And never touching him like this. He wasn't thinking anything naughty, he just thought he was distracting him before being hit more. Jono almost chocked on air for a moment, naughty notions had filled his head for a moment. Never, absolutely never. He hated Seth, with all his soul he hated him. But Jono was very interested in men- it really wasn't a bad thing. Did Seth know this? Was he messing with him?
"Do you kiss all your friends like that?" she questioned first. Now she was even more confused, she didn't know a lot about romance but that didn't feel like something that was simply friendly. And now he was acting as if it was really nothing. She shook her head and then said, "I'm sorry. I get nervous. What if someone saw and thought otherwise?" She knew they were in a secluded spot, there is always the possibility. But more so, she was afraid of the gods. That's all she ever heard from the other children when they were younger- that she would anger the gods by her presence. That always stuck with her, and it always made her more paranoid when it came to Atsu and her feelings. "Are you mad?" she asked in a very meek voice. Now she wasn't sure if she had just embarrassed herself by assuming things.

Akila laughed a little, remembering taking the flowers. "They were just so pretty." She said. She couldnt believe they were having a normal conversation. But for the first time she felt no anger against him. "You did your fair share of troublemaking." She teased. "Switching places with Atsu and sneaking off. I could always tell who you were though." She said proudly that she could always tell which one was Atem.
Seth smirked, glad he was making Jono a bit nervous. "Dont question your master, slave." he said and moved Jono's shirt up before leaning down and trailing his kisses down Jono's chest and abbs. He was actually enjoying this very much. Seth never thought about being with men, he never really thought about being with anyone. But he did get aroused when fighting with Jono. This might be just what he needs to relieve some stress.
Atsu panicked. "Of course I do." He lied quickly when she asked if he kissed all his friends like that. He didnt like lieing and he didnt like hiding his real feelings from her but he thought after he kissed her she would react much differently but it was abvious to him that she didnt like his kiss. Which meant she didnt like him, not the way he wanted her to anyway. "You worry too much." He said with a small smile and then scratched the back of his head nervously. "Why would I be mad?" extreamly dissapointed, upset, agrivated with life but mad at her? No. "Maybe we should head back now..." he suggested.

A true smile crossed his face when he heard her laugh. "Yea, we did," he said admitting it, "I always tried to deny it but you always caught me." He was now able to look at her, he wasn't sure why he wasn't looking at her before. He then asked, "How was it you could tell the difference between my brother and I when even my own family couldn't? Even my father had trouble telling us apart from time to time." He always wondered that- it couldn't have been that apparent. Yes they let him do a lot of things but when it came to his studies they were very serious. The adults would have never let him or Atsu get away with such a stunt. They were still holding hands but Atem laced his fingers with hers. He didn't mean to do this for the game, it just happened and he didn't realize that he just did it.
"Woah woah woah!" Jono said absolutely freaked out by Seth's actions. He was so startled he was able to grab Seth's arms and push him off of him. He then rolled him over, hovering over him. That didn't last long, Jono bolted up and looked horrified at him. No matter how shocked his face was one thing was certain, he was turned on by that little stunt and it showed. When Jono realized how 'apparent' it was he felt embarrassed and tried to hid it.
Any other person, any other time, she would have been able to tell that was a lie. But right now with Atsu she wasn't sure. Her mind was very scrambled and nothing made sense. She thought holding back her feelings could be easy, that she could bury them to the back of her mind and things would be ok. But she thought about their kiss, she really did like it. She liked it to the point she felt sinful and guilty. And for once, since a long time, she thought things were unfair. "I don't know, because my assumption was wrong and disrespectful?" she replied to why he would be mad. This wasn't like her, she was always wise about things but Atsu brought out her vulnerability when he stole that kiss. She felt she couldn't even dream about it. "Yea...." she said as she walked out of the water. Once out she wrung her long hair out and her dress.

Akila wasnt sure how she could tell the difference. It was more of a feeling then somthing she knew about their appearence. She gave a slight shrug of her shoulders, feeling a lot more relaxed around him for the moment. "I dont know..." She said and blushed. She thought back to their childhood for a moment and actually giggled instead of getting mad. "I never told though..." She said. She was always looking for ways to get him in trouble so she never knew why she didnt tell. Maybe because she knew if he had to study all the time she wouldnt see him.
Seth was surprised Jono actually got out of his grasp. Well he was destracted. Seth looked up at Jono to see what he would do. Thats when he noticed Jono was quite effected by his actions. He actually didnt expect that. He chuckled. "I know now exactly how you want me to treat you...." He said with a smirk and got up, grabbing Jono's wrist quickly so he couldnt escape. He quickly kissed the other man and then cupped his other hand between Jono's legs. He couldnt believe what he was doing but he certainly didnt want to stop.
Atsu just gave a slight nod and looked away. Now he felt so awkward. This was horrible, what did he expect to happen? No wonder he wasnt fit to be king he couldnt make any right decisions. He sighed and got out of the water. He glanced at Amme to see her dress was sticking tightly to her. He blushed and grabbed his cloak, putting it around her. "Here." he said and smiled a little at her. He couldnt even form a sentence. He dried his hair and then jumped on the horse, offering her his hand.

Atem looked at her, expecting some unique way of telling them apart. But instead she didn't know- it was like she just knew. He could have easily teased her about that, he could have made it seem like she was that interested in him she was able to tell. But he didn't want to tease her, well, in a friendly way yes but why ruin something? He felt like she wasn't acting anymore- which made him happier then any fake act. The same thing he dealt with with every other girl. Yes he liked the praise, but he didn't like the lack of truth and soul. Atem only smiled at her in response to her never telling. That made sense, he was never scolded of such matters. "I had to stop anyway, I needed to eventually learn the things they were trying to teach me. Besides, Atsu was falling behind in his own studies," he said. Now that he was older he felt bad about making Atsu double up on work. He was very close to his brother, even if he hasn't spent a lot of time with him recently. People always treated Atem better then his brother, but Atsu was still an important person to him. However he left out the part that he started taking responsibilities to try and stay away from Akila- after all she was getting him in trouble left and right. But at the same time, he wanted to learn in order to impress her- show her what he could do. That he was strong and smart. It was quite bizarre. Atem rubbed his fingers against hers as they walked. What was he doing? He was feeling things for Akila that he never thought he would feel. Which wouldn't be so bad except for the fact that if she wins he has to let her leave. Why wasn't he focusing on making her lose?
Jono turned as pale as an Egyptian possibly could. "No wait I...." was the only thing he could get out of him mouth before Seth grabbed him. This wasn't exactly what he had in mind, certainly never with Seth. Yes, men aroused him more then women- that wasn't a bad thing. But his quote on quote 'owner' doing this was very embarrassing and wrong. But it felt so good. Jono's eye's rolled back a little and he breathed heavily through his nose. Not from trying to resist Seth or from anger, from an overdose of pleasure. His body actually loosened up from the tension it felt before. He was like this for a moment or two, but then he snapped out of it. It had to be a trap or something. Never would Seth..... was he even gay? Jono's eyes shot back and again he tried to resist. He shook his head to tried to free his lips from Seth's. Seth kept right on him.
Amme was always very good at feeling other people's feelings. Making sense of what she felt was another story. Something was off now, even though Atsu acted like everything was ok. Why did she over react? This is why she never opened up to people- her ideas were childish and simply wrong. She over analyzed things and now he probably thought she was horrible for assuming. She still smiled at him when he gave her his cloak. When she was dry enough she took his hand and got on the horse. Her arms kept hold of him as she did before but once they started moving she slowly laid the side of her face on his back. There were so many things she wanted to say and ask only to him but she knew she could never do such a thing. She was so deep in thought that she didn't realize that she was holding him too tightly.
