The small dragon nods his head. "I see. My friend and I, well we're just odd balls. I suspect you will be less surprized than others, though. If your path paralels that of the girl, you'll meet up with my friend again. He has what might be called a 'Hero complex'."
Hoshiryuu puases to consider the switch of language more. "I can understand several languages, but I am unable to speak any beside draconic ones and similar."

"So shall we head out after dinner then?" *the people around the fire finish up their meal and sen and dak skarf the rest of theirs* well let hed out pops bal gaurd the camp we'll be back for ya later *bear walked to his shelt grabed his war hammer and slid a sheathed dagger up his sleave**sen picked up his swords and a set of throwing knifes**dak grabed some throwing knifes a rapier and the three head for the two boats on the shore of the river* Trinity follows them to the the two boats.

He keeps to draconic, ignoring the stares. "I have learned some languages, and am grateful that throughout dimensions some languages are near enough that I can pick up quickly. Draconic seems to be the one that has the most similarity between the realms, so I eagerly learned it for translation reasons, that and to help talk to the big oaf of a dragon outside." The elf just smiled lightly. "What do you mean by Hero Complex?"

"Draconic languages are very similar from one dimension to the next." Hoshiryuu thinks for a little bit before answering the question. "If somethings going on, he has to at least keep an eye on the situation. If someones in trouble, he steps in. We've had some interesting turn of events."

Trinity nodded at this and enjoys the silence.
Just then a Serpent raises its head from the water and strikes at Trinity although it didn't get her it took a chunk of the boat with it.
She was in the water uncertain from where it would strike.
if it's focusing on me then maybe I should lure it away so the others won't get hurt. She starts swiming to shore away from the others and the serpent raises its head just enough so that one could see that it was following Trinity.

"I just came to find out about you. Thatnks, but I'm fine." The small dragon doesn't seem to notice the looks from the others in the building, but doesn't really seem to be focused on the conversation either. "He's doing it right now."

The elf merely shook his head. "The humans war upon themselves, killing themselves in masses. Then there become thieves and murderers, which just add to the deaths. The world would be better if they could only find peace, like most elves... unfortunately there is some wars at times, because of the Drow." His whole body shivered as he spoke the name of that race, not even touching his tea as he stood. "The gods are truely weird at times, to create war... without it there would be peace, but unfortunately sometimes war is needed. Without it there would be overpopulation. I will try to stop wars from occuring, but I know I cannot stop them all." His uncovered eye looked at the little dragon, seeming slightly sad. "I wish to talk to your friend, if you will take me to him."

Trinity keeps swiming toward the shore with the water serpent closely behind. It opens its mouth and the water starts pulling her in, trying to swallow her whole.
She swam with all of her might, she was so close to the edge of the shore but couldn't keep swimming. As soon as she was with in the darkness of the beast's mouth she drops therough the shadow and came from its back and stabs it with her glaive the beast lests out a huge roar of pain.

Before starting out of the establishment, Hoshiryuu says one thing. "War is a thing of mortals, not gods." There was no swish of his tail and bairly a click as claws touched the ground.
"My friend is in the woods watching the progress of the girl and the group he left her with." Stopping outside the door he turns and looks at Raguni. "By land, or air?"

"I will not bother Silver now and I could use a good stretch, so I will go by land. Lead the way on whichever you are faster, land or air, I'll keep up." He chuckled lightly as he followed the small dragon. Speed was his major area of strength, as his figuring was this, sure one may be strong and deal damage, but what good is he if he cannot hit you? By the time he finally has, you've done well over that much damage from the combined damage of your hits, even if your hits do light damage.
