88 days now. OH YEAH! whee starbubbles Astrelle 86 here. i think Ming's low moral journal entry upped moral a bit. 8D lol. though, i think the morale might be due to so many caving. lame... stare anywho. it's just comforting to see so many faces in our member list. even if they don't post, you know. it's almost like a boo directory It is. Even worse, they post about it when they've caved! If it weren't for that, morale would probably be much higher. I know, it's fantastic. <3

Its so hard to believe it. We are a dying breed....every day another one bites the dust so they say sad how long are we gonna survive this? People are becoming jaded and annoyed by the same avatar all the time....Mules help but not a lot....even I am starting to feel all blah about it....not that I would ever change it voluntarily....seriously.... >.< How long will we last?
Its been 87 days for me today.....they keep counting up.....

89 days! yay!
i don't really get all sad about my avatar not changing (though that is why i've been on gaia for so many years), but i do get discouraged about saving gold for items. everything is soo expensive! but i do agree that when people post that they are leaving, it's like rubbing it in other people's faces

Truth be told, I don't really mind it if people change their avatars and discard the skin.
It just makes it all the more rare.
The prestige grows as the numbers dwindle.

90 days >_< I'm getting a little restless. I hope I don't feel the need to change soon. I've gotten some items that I like, and it's bothering me that I can't try them on. But I love this skin very much.

At the same time, I also wish that the guild wasn't limited to only Skins.
Just changing the rules so that only a certain few subs were to be used by skins only would be what I'd prefer.

The only way I could think of is seeing others posting here with 'normal' avatars, reminding them constantly of their short comings insofar as not being able to change their own.
That would just be silly, though, as someone with the skin is exposed to much the same anywhere else on Gaia.
Even then, if the people still wish to cloister themselves away here, there was the idea of subs wherein only skins would be allowed to post, preventing the skins from having to see other avatars.
Though, I might have gotten it wrong, my guessing what you meant.
If I have, by all means, correct me.

i think i sort of understand where you are coming from. but i had alway felt that this place was to almost be like an asylum for boo skin wearers. if the only requirement is to have a skin substitute, it means they can still change their avatars, while those who wanted to keep their boo skin in its original form cannot change their avatars. but it is true that opening up the whole skin deal would make it more like the rest of gaia. i really don't spend too much time in forums, arenas and whatnot, but whenever i do, i always get inspired to play around with my avatar. i'm sure it's the same for a number of people here. i also think it would be silly to have members in the guild, but not allow them to participate just because they have a substitute skin. that's just mean. anyway, so when you're done venturing through gaia, and feel like you need some support in your choice with keeping your skin, you can come here, where others can't change their avatar either. that's how i look at it anyway. i'm not boo gun-ho, i just like the skin. if you interpret the guild as a boo lover guild, then i can see why our opinions differ.
