Until my last breath... Axel landed nimbly on the stretch of flooring that marked the threshold of the Hokage office. With a swift knock he made his presence known to any and all who may be within. His roomy black cloak was held tight to his unusually warm body as his clothing began to rustle in the light wind. Until my last breath... Though Sana-chan was of superior standing and rank, the way she rushed to him and pulled him into her soft embrace made him feel rather brother-like, thus as she held him he placed his hand upon her head and nodded, forgetting for that brief moment that he were but a gennin and she was the Hokage.
"I'm fine Sana-chan. You needn't worry about me."
He allowed himself a brief hug then gently removed himself from her embrace.
"Is all well?" ...I'll stand by you.

Until my last breath... His normal careless expression began to show slight signs of intrigue. What could it be that Sana would want him to do? Was it dangerous? A continuous stream of thoughts flashed through his mind til suddenly he severed the chain of thought and simply tilted his head, curious. Until my last breath... Axel's eye lit up at the words "Special Jounin" and "Mission". With widened eyes he looked down at his Hokage, momentarily allowing himself to become lost in her bright sparkling eyes as he absorbed her words. "You...wish to make me a Special Jounin and undertake a mission?" He said with a almost undetectable hint of disbelief. In truth he was thrilled, and the gleam in his eyes could attest to such. He held Sana's hands in his own. ...I'll stand by you.
