Mauske Yamato Genin| Leaf l Curse Mark Of Darkness l Ninjutsu  Mauske had heard a knock. She woke up. She had been asleep for three days. She was meant to leave today. She got up quickly and put the Akis headband back in her. She then went to the door. She opened it and saw a boy. "Um...Hello?"

Mitsuki walked into her room and closed the door behind her, intertwining her fingers and lifting her arms up, arching her back in a glorious stretch. After taking her hair down and brushing it out, she got into the shower and came out ten minutes later in shorts and a tank top, drying her damp hair with a pale blue towel. She lay down on her bed and fell asleep, the towel still draped over the top of her head, wrapping itself around her shoulders at the bottom.

The next morning Mitsuki woke up to find the towel still lying on her head. She pulled it off and walked to the bathroom to get changed and meet Havik at the training grounds. After brushing her teeth and hair, she put on her shoes as she left, closing and locking the door behind her. "Crap I'M LATE!!!"

 Tsukiakari HikaruSunagakure| Ato Sakura No Ki No | GeninArriving back at the dorms, Hikaru walked down the hallways of the common area, coming to his room as he entered quietly, removing his swords from his person as he changed into a more comfortable robe and moved to the futon. sitting down, he found the scrolls of his family's techniques and opened them to find that there was no writing on the parchment... only the crest of his family in the upper left hand corner.
Looking down at the empty scroll, Hikaru recalled what his attendant had said when he had given the scroll to him, "It is encoded to open only for you..." Thinking about it for a while, Hikaru pulled his ninja tool pouch out from under his folded clothes and removed a kunai, using the sharp edge to just barely scratch his finger as he held the cut over the seal, squeezing his finger to allow a single drop of blood to fall in the middle of the seal. Immedaitely the seal lit up, glowing a soft blue light as the blood was soaked into the seal itself as a wave of red energy flashed across the scroll, revealing a series of writings on the scroll which detailed the secrets of his family's bloodline and sword style techniques.
Smiling at the realization, Hikaru began to read the bloodline ability as he tried to find out how to activate it. He had done so already once, but only on the brink of death, and since then, he had never been able to duplicate the effect. Perhaps now however, things would be different with his new resolve to grow stronger.
 "I will not allow my family to be destroyed."

Uzumi looked at mauske with his blank face and cold, soulless eyes..I'm Uzumi, and I have come here to protect you. He stated, his voice was deep and strong, but he looked like he was a very cold person.

Tsukiakari HikaruSunagakure| Ato Sakura No Ki No | Genin"A warrior is nothing without his blade, just as the blade is nothing until gripped by the warrior. The two must be in unison, bonded and linked, working together as a team, each one energizing the other as they feed off each others energy. The Tsukiakari blade takes this one step further... the crest is forged with the blood of the wielder at birth. they are linked intrinsically, at a level that only the Tsukiakari can understand. To awaken the blade's true power, the blade and user must first be aware of each others presence and the warrior's soul must be brought to resonate with the call of the blade."
"Wow..." Hikaru thought to himself as he placed Kazesenkou in front of him on the futon, staring at the blade intently. With a slow and graceful motion, he removed the blade from the hilt and rested it on the futon, looking at it for a long time. "So... I need to resonate with Kazesenkou... but how do I do that? would it be as simple as speaking to the blade, or is it something deeper?" Picking up the scroll again, Hikaru read a bit more, but saw nothing on how to commune with the blade... only that it must be done to unlock the potential stored in his blood.
"Alright, well, here I go." Hikaru said out loud, feeling a bit strange talking to his sword, even if he had read that the blade itself was a part of him..."Gotta admit, this is a little weird, slightly awkward talking to you like this Kazesenkou. I guess, well, ummm, thanks for always being there for me when I need. You always seem to come in in a clinch and awaken when I need you most. I guess it's not so strange to think of you as more then just my blade. We've been together and seen a lot of war, and more then that, I have felt you influence me before, though at the time, I had simply thought it was some latent ability within myself. I guess, maybe i was right. after all Kazesenkou, you are a part of me right?... forged with my blood." [Senbonzakura Blade Communion 2/5]
"Hmmm, Kazesenkou... it's a good name. A bit long though, don't you think? I mean, jsut for common conversation. Perhaps a nickname is in order... Kaze... Kazesen... Sen... hmmm, maybe not. I guess I wouldn't like it much if someone called me Hik, or aru." Hikaru let out a slight laugh as he said this, starting to feel more at ease with talking to his blade, but as he laughed, he though he heard a slight reverberation, as if his laugh was echoed. "Hey, did you hear that? well, that's a good question... do you hear? You must I suppose... all those times on out in the field, you must be aware of your surroundings just as I am. man, all this time, you were jsut my sword... I really hope I didn't offend or mistreat you. I always tried to do my best, and you have served me well... more then well, you've saved my life several times." [Senbonzakura Blade Communion 3/5]
"You really need to work on this..." Hikaru's head shot around as he heard a voice coming from multiple directions, as if speaking through something. Looking around however, he saw nothing, only the window which had darkened and the light that his candle was shedding on the darkened room. it was late and he hadn't even noticed. "Did you hear that?" "Of course i heard it... How could I not hear myself speak?" the voice echoed from all around him again, but it sounded so familiar, almost as if he had heard the voice many times before. the voice itself even seemed to have a playfully mischievousness in it's tone, almost mocking Hikaru in it's response. [Senbonzakura Blade Communion 4/5]
"C'mon HIK... do you really not get it yet? You're the only other one in the room... it's just you and me. Always has been." "Kazesenkou?" Hikaru said with a bit of a questioning tone as he looked down at his blade. this time however as he heard the voice, he felt that he could feel the blade itself vibrating... "There we go... took you long enough to hear me." "So you CAN talk!" "Yes, well this would seem to be what you are hearing. or you're just going insane. given the circumstances however, I would prefer you not go with the second option. If you get marked as crazy... so do I by default." [Senbonzakura Blade Communion 5/5]
"Wait, why would that happen?" "We're linked! Is it really that hard to grasp? I even talk like you. Think about it... all that time we've been training together... you've been forced to user other weapons before... have you ever felt the same as when holding my hilt? Of course not, there's no soul, no warmth in the touch. I am a part of you after all. don't worry though, you'll understand... just watch. Now that you can hear me, just say the word, and I'll materialize to assist you in more ways then you can imagine. Just say 'Scatter'" Hikaru looked somewhat confusingly at Kazesenkou, but responded as he was told to... "Scatter?"
No sooner had Hikaru said the words then did Kazesenkou begin to glow a feint blue light as the metal of the blade began to dematerialize, starting at the tip of the blade, and continuing downward towards the hilt. as the metal peeled off the blade, it came in the shape of tiny lotus petals... hundreds of them coming out of the metal, as they began to float around the room and around Hikaru, catching the light of the moon as it shone through the window, reflecting outward through the entire room as it began to glow an eerie light blue color. With the blade's metal now completely gone, Hikaru was surrounded by the lotus petals as they swirled around him, one petal passing quickly by his hand as it nicked him, creating a cut in his flesh as it moved by.
"Not so bad... but do try to put more heart into it next time. It is nice to finally be heard and to be set free. You have always treated me with respect and trusted me, just as I have you. This is only the beginning... we will work together and grow together... for your sister, for our sister... for our family." As the voice reverberating around him ceased, the petals gathered together once more, flowing into the hilt as the metal of the blade began to reform, falling back into position as Kazesenkou's familiar form was rebuilt in front of Hikaru, glowing with one final glimmer of the moon before returning to it's normal form. with nothing left to be said, Hikaru lifted Kazesenkou, placing it back in it's sheath, as he felt a great sense of accomplishment and growth, even from just this small step..."Thank You Kazesenkou... we will. I promise." With that, Hikaru placed the sword down next to him, close at hand as he always did and laid down to sleep. tomorrow would be another day of training and growth.

Mitsuki walked into her room, slamming the door behind her. Throwing her swords onto her bed, she sat down at her desk with a pencil and a large piece of paper. "Coming up with a new weapon is gonna take a LOOOOOONG time"
((And with that, I leave to be off for most likely a very long time....))

Tsukiakari HikaruSunagakure| Ato Sakura No Ki No | GeninAs the light slowly crept into the room from the lone window, Hikaru's eyes were opened as the first light hit his lids. Groggily opening his eyes, the first thing he saw was his sword, Kazesenkou as he smiled and remembered the step he had taken the night before. Looking over to the side, he even saw the scroll he had read the night before, still opened, yet the blood-written pages no longer lit up. The amount of time that the writing would appear it seemed was limited.
After getting up, leaving the room to take a bath and returning, Hikaru dressed himself placing Daichi and Kazesenkou in their resting placings on him and knelt before the scrolls. Drawing a small drop of blood with a kunai, Hikaru dripped it onto the scroll as the blood lit up, illuminating the crest as the light flowed over the scroll, showing the teachings of the Tsukiakari style. Reading it over several times, Hikaru committed the concepts, movements, and requirements of the first stage of the style. Hikaru was disappointed, but the other stages though lit up, were blurred out... a strange phenomenon of streaking occurring within the characters.
Hikaru didn't truly understand why the future stages of the technique were hidden, but he figured that perhaps such techniques were beyond his ability for the time being. Rolling the scroll up, Hikaru stashed it away before leaving for the dojo to train in his technique.

Uzumi didn't move when she hugged him, he just remained still..You're the last of my family, so I'm sure mother would want me to protect you..He stated softly, actually showing some emotion in his voice this time.
