I have a few questions on Dreadno's weapon...
1. What does the Katana do? You describe the Gourd in great detail, but nothing is mentioned of the katana...
2. I don't understand the weapon proportions...You say the katana is 7 ft (which by the way...is ENORMOUS...and no longer a katana, but in the range of 'Odachi'
...also, what do you mean by sealed into the gourd's plug? does that mean the blade is stuck into the plug and goes into the gourd? Gaara's gourd was only about 4 ft tall... and was always strapped to his back. That would mean that the blade itself sticks about 3 ft out of the gourd...and there is a 2 ft chain attached to the katana?
(This could use a lot of clarification...have a picture?)
3. I think the Gourd's vacuum ability needs some kind of cooldown, so your character can't just use it every post. there should be a one post cooldown after. (not such a big deal since as a Genin, you'll barely be able to use the gourd more then twice before running out of chakra completely, but it makes sense for later levels.
4. You say that the Gourd is defensive only... and yet, it sucks up jutsu with the express purpose of DOUBLING THEIR STRENGTH AND EJECTING THEM AT THE ENEMY. I would call that offense.
5. Have you ever tried to strap a 4 foot gourd, which is about 2 feet wide and cylindrical to your arm? I know I haven't, but i would imagine it's not so easily... or even physically possible to keep straight, or even lift for an extended period of time...

@Shade: Perhaps if you put a better pic we can see what they look like. And I have a problem with your weapon being the so called sharpest sword. Perhaps lower it down some? It cannot be stronger then a canon sword, such as Orochimaru's Kusanagi.
2) And you say it drains energy from the weilder. How much energy? And its every post?
3) 60 posts....thats over doing it no fight will last that long. Cut it in half or maybe down to 20. Chanecs of a fight going that long is rare but its fair as well
4)Life energy, that would be a last resort so how much of it and can you make it in the same terms you would that of using chakra?
5) A sword that long normally requires two hands, so having two of them....how does that work out? Especially when one is exceedingly heavy.
6) How does the sword repair itself? Does it take chakra? A substance like blood, or water, or something within reason?

 Name of weapon: Destiny Blades Who owns the weapon: Vincente Twil Valtieri Where it was found/Who made it: Both swords were supposedly forged, one in heaven, the other earth, mirroring each other. They were found in possesion of Vincente's family, as they invented it. The Range of the weapon: 3 feet, almost the length of a small child Weakness: The Heaven and Earth blade don't really work together as well as they could, they can only handle 20 posts worth of stress before breaking, they will become normal swords until repaired. Though they can repair themselves after nine posts. Since spiritual energy is drained, the user avalible jutsus that can be used is cut down. The amount of jutsus that the wielder can use is brought down by five, such is the power of the blades. Blood is the required sacrifice for a quick repair, futher weakening the wielder. Only their blood will repair the blades. The Heaven Blade can even give off a dim light that gives the wielder a longer view, but only slightly because it is indeed dim. Description: Two interconnected blades that have powers beyond an average sword. The Heaven blade is amazingly sharp, better than a basic sword, but it has several dull points, it can be swung easily, though not as well as the Earth Blade. The earth blade is fast and light, though it's power makes it weak. The two have taken the lives of many, and have never been in the hands of a child. The Blades draw spiritual energy from there user to remain repaired, but when the user runs out of energy, the blades snapped and must rengenerate before use. They can appear back in the user's hands under any condition. They must be taken to a master smith to regain former power, as regeneration weakens the blades. The Blades return to their user, lost or otherwise, though when killed, they seek a new owner. As a last resort, the owner can give life energy to completely repair the blades. Rp Sample: Vincente entered the forest, undaunted by the energy that was being given off. He drew his blades and pointed the Heaven Blade forward. It lit the path a bit, though he couldn't tell if he was being watched or not. He moved it this way and that, keeping himself secure. He'd recently decided to go into such a place just to find enjoy himself, but he got lost in, a few minutes. He sneezed, bad mistake. A few ninjas, maybe rouge genins, were nearby, attacking him. He had both swords drawn, but it was so dark, he couldn't see anymore, even with the blade's light. He made sure to move into a more lighted area. He crossed his blades, a stance he took before every fight. He tried to take count, but they were to fast for that. Since both blades were connected, he dropped the Heaven Blade, but hung on to the Earth Blade. He swung the dropped sword by the by the one he was using at the moment. He already sensed stress from just that. "Come on, hold on a bit longer..." He said. He slashed quickly with the Heaven blade and Earth blade, they were both one handed swords. Though he fought quickly, both blades snapped and the edges whistled off into the darkness. He cursed aloud, the blades were a lot weaker broken. He tried fighting with those, but they obviously would end the fight quickly. He pricked himself and let blood flow freely onto the blades, they were regenerating fast, but it still wasn't enough. He stabbed himself slightly and the blades were once again normal. He smiled and charged again. He jumped onto the shoulders of one of the ninjas and stabbed deeply into his spine. He leapt off, being sure to retrive his blade, and facing, what looked like the last two. He sighed, he was almost too tired to preform a jutsu to help him, so he went forward again. He ran forward and placed both blades in the first rouge ninja, then he faced the last one, a devilish smile on his face. He beheaded him and the blades once again, were stressed. "I need a smith..." He said trudging off back home, if he could find the entrance. sorry, that's the best pic i got.

Each area of the gauntlet has a special power, and each is triggered automatically when the requirements are met. When the palm of the Akuba no Azen Akki Hando makes contact with something, it will burn the item, leaving a dark-pupple mark wherever the palm and fingers made contact with. This is especially painful when it comes into contact with flesh, and is sometimes compared to the Nueralgia Technique used by medic-nin. But, this also becomes a weakness; The user cannot used two handed weapons due to the fact anything coming into contact with the palm is severely burned, melted, and possibly incinerated. Each time the gauntlet does this, involuntarily or on purpose, it uses up a D-ranked amount of chakra.

As Akuba no Anzen Akki Hando's palm was exposed, it made contact with Hoko's belly, inducing a large, purple, burn. Hoko screamed, doubling over while letting go of his spear to hold his newly-aquired wound. Cory knew that the burn from Akuba was one to fear, being burned by it accidentally every so often when wearing it around without purpose. Cory seathed his wakizashi as he took off his gauntlet, fastening it to his belt, making sure to have the palm face outwards so Akuba wouldn't burn Cory accidentally burn himself and use up more chakra. Taking out his wakizashi, Cory stood at the ready. "Cory... Make it stop!!" Hoko cried out, holding the severe burn on his stomach. "Sorry old friend," Cory whispered, holding the wakizashi in the air as he brang his knee to meet Hoko's nose, breaking it and making his head and torso rear backwards. Using the opprotunity of Hoko's exposed torso and struck with his wakizashi... A sharp ring heard as the bladed instrument sailed though the air and ended Hoko's life. "Sorry brother."

Where it was found/Who made it: A heirloom from his father, it was passed down to Akuma when he died. Rumored to possess special skills only one with his kekki genkai can work. The sword's creator is unknown
The Range of the weapon: Length of blade is approx. 73cm (28.7in)
Weakness: usage of any of the blade's special abilities require chakra, not good for long range combat.
Description:
Yamato is a legendary weapon rumored to be wielded by the sage of the six paths long ago, even more possible it was given from a demon in the depths of hell. Yamato, otherwise known as Enma Katana: Yamato or Devil Blade, is a katana that was made for rinnegan users but only allows one to wield it at a time, meaning yamato can only be held by one rinnegan bearer one life time at a time. Since then a new blade was made every decade or so in order to keep it in its prime.The blade weilds many different powers, some must be unlocked through time and training. Others are simply timing. The sharpness of the blade is higher then other swords. It can cut through thin steel easily. The blade has five symbols on it, each symbolizing each of the five main elements fire, wind, lightning, earth and water. Some call the symbols the chain of symbol ability. The user channels chakra equal to E rank of a single element through the sword, and that symbol which matches the element drawn from the weilder will glow indicating it. In order to activate the symbols and apply the element, one must speak the symbols name. These are the following effects of each element when used with the sword.

Blaze (Fire): When the element of fire is added to the sword, the symbol of fire will glow and the blade will give off a hot red aura. The blade's cutting power is slightly enhanced, and contact with it would result in burns. Being cut by the blade would be very painful. When jonin the user can slash the sword and release a wall of fire from the sword at the cost of C rank chakra.
Gale (Wind): When the element of wind is added to the sword, the symbol of wind will glow and the blade will give off a teal colored aura. The blade's cutting power is doubled and the chakra is spinning around the blade giving it a chainsaw effect almost. It can easily deflect projectiles. It also makes the blade lighter and easier to wield quicker and being cut by the blade would make it appear as if the wound was made by a weapon that shreds. When jonin the user can slash the sword and create a sudden burst of wind that has cutting effects capable of deflecting objects at the cost of C rank chakra
Storm (Lightning): When the element of lightning is added to the sword, the symbol of lightning will glow and the blade will give off a goldenrod colored aura. The blade's cutting power is enhanced and lightning dances around the blade. Contact with the blade would result in eletricution and being cut by the blade would leave burns and paralysis in the area targeted. When jonin the user can slam the blade into the ground, creating an eletrical shockwave that creates a dome around him and expands outwards about 10ft at the cost of C rank chakra
Fissure (Earth): When the element of earth is added to the sword, the symbol of earth will glow and the blade will give off a sandy brown aura. The blade's cutting power is enhanced and its durability is doubled letting it withstand blows that would normally damage the blade. The chakra around the blade becomes one with the blade, giving it three extra inches to length and width. When jonin the user can slam the blade into the earth and rip a large fissure in a straight path from the point of impact made on the ground when the sword struck, at the cost of C rank chakra.
Aquatic (Water): When the element of water is added to the sword, the symbol of water will glow and the blade will give off a icy blue aura. The blade's cutting power is enhanced and the blade is more fluid, allowing more precise techniques with the sword to be used. When cut by the blade the area around the wound will have frost bites causing more pain and less function in the damaged area. When Jonin the user can sweep the sword across and create a barrier of water to emerge surrounding him above the head to his feet protecting him from many onslaughts at the cost of C rank chakra

The sheath of the sword is made from the strongest wood and lined with metal. Diamonds was encrusted into the sheath, very small but made the sheath incredibly durable and can even be used as a weapon for a strong swing can break bones. The Sheath holds no special properties available. The blade can be cleaned and sharpened once a month, which the process takes roughly about 5 to 7 posts. If the blade is ever broken, it would take a total 10 posts to restore the blade. If one wants to rush the process and still keep it perfection one can use C rank chakra and cut the length of the process in half.
Rp Sample:
Sparks flew from the darkened room in the basement of the smelting house. The light from the molten-looking metal lit Akuma's face slightly, red light reflecting off of his purple rippled eyes giving off a sinister look. He pulled the blade out carefully and more hammering was made and then steam filled the room with the sound of cooling metal. The sword was nearly finished. The handle was all that was left. He brought out the legendary hilt and picked the blade up carefully with tongs and gloves, sliding it into the slot on the hilt where the blade is held into. It was like a perfect fit, and he added more liquid metal into the slot around the blade, very slowly till the hilt was full and the blade would be unmoving, the sword Yamato was complete. He then moved chaka around the blade settling it in to refine it. He brought out the sheath, and slid it over the blade, the beaufitul sound that resembled a 'shhhiiinggg' was heard as the blade was now within the sheath. He stepped upstairs with the Yamato, turning and walking out the door. He stepped outside the village, walking through the forest.
"Hmm....its quiet today" He said to himself as he walked down the sandy path. Indeed it was, usually someone was training here. He stopped, listening out. Something wasn't right. He simply paused, his hand rested on the hilt of his sword, a thumb sliding upwards pushing the sword upwards releasing it from the sheath very slightly. Suddenly a shadow flashed acorss the trees and there was a flash of steel, blood splattered across a tree trunk as another genin fell across the ground, clutching his arm. Akuma looked down at the genin. "Foolishness kid....foolishness" He said as the genin got up and took a kunai at hand, rushing in at Akuma. Akuma merely shook his head and muttered a word. "storm" He said as he blocked the kunai with easy, his blade jumped to life as eletricity danced along the length, giving off a color goldenrod colored aura. Eletricity ran through the kunai and shocked the genin making him fall to the ground. Akuma then made a swift cross-slash targeting the genin's chest. The genin was slow to react but managed to parr off the first blow, however eletricity once more assaulted his body and stunned him enough to get the next slash to make contact, ripping through the skin and eletricity leaving burns around the flesh cut opened. The genin screamed in pain as Akuma flipped the blade in a 360 degree angle, cutting the genins ankles disabling the ability to walk and more eletricty coursed through his body. The genin was about to cry out but the sound of metal echoed once more as a thud was heard hitting the sand, the screams no more. Akuma knelt down picking up the head and looking at it. "Foolishness..." He said as he punted the head. He turned around, swining the blade around and sheathed it, turning away and walked back towards the village

Just a couple of things: 1. A specific amount of chakra for using one of the powers would make it easier to understand. 2. Usually, when you have an incredibly sharp blade, it is also fragile. So if you get a clean cut into a target, you don't have to worry. But if it takes a solid impact from the side or if you get it stuck in something like a rock or a steel bar, then the chances of your sword shattering would be great. Let me know what you can do about these two things. Note: Since the blade is that old, it would have had had to be sharpened considerably to still be that sharp, so if we took this the REAL way, you wouldn't be so willing to use it because it would be even thinner.

Storm (Lightning): When the element of lightning is added to the sword, the symbol of lightning will glow and the blade will give off a goldenrod colored aura. The blade's cutting power is enhanced and lightning dances around the blade. Contact with the blade would result in eletricution and being cut by the blade would leave burns and paralysis in the area targeted. When jonin the user can slam the blade into the ground, creating an eletrical shockwave that creates a dome around him and expands outwards about 10ft at the cost of C rank chakra
Fissure (Earth): When the element of earth is added to the sword, the symbol of earth will glow and the blade will give off a sandy brown aura. The blade's cutting power is enhanced and its durability is doubled letting it withstand blows that would normally damage the blade. The chakra around the blade becomes one with the blade, giving it three extra inches to length and width. When jonin the user can slam the blade into the earth and rip a large fissure in a straight path from the point of impact made on the ground when the sword struck, at the cost of C rank chakra.
Aquatic (Water): When the element of water is added to the sword, the symbol of water will glow and the blade will give off a icy blue aura. The blade's cutting power is enhanced and the blade is more fluid, allowing more precise techniques with the sword to be used. When cut by the blade the area around the wound will have frost bites causing more pain and less function in the damaged area. When Jonin the user can sweep the sword across and create a barrier of water to emerge surrounding him above the head to his feet protecting him from many onslaughts at the cost of C rank chakra

The sheath of the sword is made from the strongest wood and lined with metal. Diamonds was encrusted into the sheath, very small but made the sheath incredibly durable and can even be used as a weapon for a strong swing can break bones. The Sheath holds no special properties available.

Just a couple of things: 1. A specific amount of chakra for using one of the powers would make it easier to understand. 2. Usually, when you have an incredibly sharp blade, it is also fragile. So if you get a clean cut into a target, you don't have to worry. But if it takes a solid impact from the side or if you get it stuck in something like a rock or a steel bar, then the chances of your sword shattering would be great. Let me know what you can do about these two things. Note: Since the blade is that old, it would have had had to be sharpened considerably to still be that sharp, so if we took this the REAL way, you wouldn't be so willing to use it because it would be even thinner. well that is true, but I should of added when chakra is added it'll coat the blade making it capable of handling those types of impacts, though when earth chaka is added it'll be incredibly durable. The age thing is true, but we could say the same for the kunsanagi and sharkskin etc etc etc. But since those are arc weapons I'll change it to it being remade each decade, and it happened to be just made and given to Akuma. So its not extremely thin and its still sharp. But I'll add stuff to resharpen it and what not
