Syd cursed in her thoughts as Grathrym told her they weren't quite done yet. She wanted to say something else (which was most likely something rude), but wasn't given the time as the demon lord continued with what they had started. To say the least about the sensation from the symbols going into her skin, Sydney detested it. It was like she was being stabbed with thousands of tiny needles continuously. But it felt a hundred, even a thousand times more painful than that. Syd attempted to choke back a scream. She didn't want to give the demons the pleasure of knowing she was in pain. Instead of a scream, it sounded more like she was being choked to death. Despite her best effort though, Sydney still ended up screaming for about five seconds. But fortunately for her, it was near the end.

"There now your done. Oh but one last thing." Grathrym walked up to the brand new ally. He raised his hand in a familar posistion. He flicked her forehead again. "Nice try holding back your scream. But always it happens. And at the risk of sounding sadistic. It really is my favorite part." Grathrym looked at her and took a small ammount of pity. He held out his hand. "You look a lil short of breath. Why dont I help you. This is a rare offer. Infact Noktal do you remember anytime when I've done this?"
((Never before actually. Im usually a good charecter or a abad guy who is good on the inside. This is my first truly evil charecter.))

((Wow. Well, believe me when I say this, you're doing an awesome job. lol))
Syd winced a little bit as Grathrym flicked her forehead yet again. She glared at him, but was too exhausted to slap his hand away from her face. The most she could manage was a rather intimidating glare on her part. "S-Shut up! I'm fine!" she replied, despite sounding exactly like what Grathrym had said: short of breath.

Noktal applauded once Sydney finished screaming.
"Most impressive. I've known Greater Demons to cry." Broadenening his smile to Lord Grathrym, he nodded at him. Hearing his question, he looked up, as if trying to peer at his memories.
"Not to anyone other than me that one time I over-exerted myself slaying that Archangel. And even then, it was on the fly. Just kept me from dying. I'd take this Sydney. This is something that you will never forget." His words had a ring of sincerity. Patting her back lightly, he squeezed her shoulder lightly.
"I give you my oath as a demon that this will not in any way kill you or cause you to lose control of your mind or soul."

((O_o seriously!? wow... well, let's see now. Maybe I can squeeze a quick post in now. my internet hasn't died yet.))
Syd coughed once as Noktal patted her back lightly. She scowled and shoved the Noktal's hand away from her. "I don't need to hear something like that from you..." She replied flatly. She then returned her glare back to the demon lord. "Fine. If it'll make you feel better than me, go right ahead and help me this once. But, dammit, I don't need anyone's pity..." Sydney stated with conviction as she barely managed to straighten up her posture. As soon as she did however, Sydney shook her head to clear her foggy mind for at least a little bit.

"Well then here. If you wish I can rid you from the memories of pain. No not by killing you. But I can erase your memories." Grathrym grabbed Syds hand and lifted her straight up. "Now lets us head to my quarters. I have soem plans I wish to give to the demon lords." Grathrym opend a flame circle in the air. The flame hardened and became a doorway. He opened it and the blank room with his throne in the middle became clear. Grathrym walked in and sat down at his throne while waiting for the others to join him.

((First post as a demon. Last for the night. Night guys.))
Haitian awoke with a start with the sound of screaming in his ear. He knew that sound all too well. New recruit...He thought. He slowly tried to rise but forgot that he had many other bodies in his bed. Men and women whom he slept with. He sighed. I'd forgotten about the party last night. He chuckled as he wrestled his way from the mass of flesh. He put on his black cloak with golden trim and hurried to the courtyard. He missed the entire ceremony though. "Damn...did I miss another initation?" He asked aloud to no one in particular. He snapped his fingers and sat at the edge of the courtyard, leaning on a column. I need to stop indulging in carnal pleasures. He stopped and let out a loud chuckle. "What am I saying? I love the pursuit of flesh."

Sydney blinked surprised as Grathrym suddenly took her by the hand and pulled her up straight. At his offer to erase her memories, Syd scoffed. "No way. What would be the point to life if I didn't have my memories?" she replied flatly. If nothing else, her sarcasm was definitely the first thing intact after that initiation thing. She then followed Grathrym into what appeared to be his throne room of sorts. Not even looking around at the room around her, Syd continued speaking to the demon lord. "Oh? You have 'plans' to discuss? And you're willing to let a new recruit, a Cambion even, listen in?"

Haitian followed through the portal and stood in the shadows in Grathrym's chamber. He may have been only a Greater demon, but he was the Horde's best warrior and reported straight to the Horde council himself. So, being in these plan meetings tended to be something he needed to attend. Unless told otherwise...
