She hesitated. She wanted to believe they could, but didn't quite dare... Too many times she had lost her home. She stopped walking and just sighed. For once she would love to live somewhere safe, with someone she trusted... for once it would be nice... to not always have to be so afraid.

She hesitated again, then said softly, "Before you... no one who meant it," then with a bit of her old bite back, to remind herself not to trust so easily, "the jury is still out on you." She had no proof, no reason to believe he was connected to the monster that had wrecked what was beginning to look like the best home she had ever had... And he had been the one helping her build that... but.. had the timing been coincidental? Or was this all part of some larger plan? She had no clue, and that scared her.

He nodded.
"Understandable." He knew trust wasn't an easy thing to gain. He added a touch of Goblin magic to his work, to help fortify the building, to make it stronger than before. It wouldn't be so easy to knock down now.
Moving away, he looked at the building to admire his handiwork. "It shouldn't fall now."
