私 の 日本語 名前 の ペリイ です。
Watashi no nihongo no namae Perri desu.
Im not sure if i said this right so if its wrong could someone please correct me. sweatdrop

My name in english is Perry. My name in japanese is ペリイ, which is promouced Perii. On the site it said it was ペリ一. But shouldn't it not have the 一 in it since thats kanji and it would then be pronouced perichi? rolleyes

When you're writing in katakana, the slash can be used as a vowel extender, to turn Peri into Perii. I have one in my name too, it's Peeji (Paige). Couldn't get the kana to work right on my comp.

My real name in Japanese is ジエリカ。(Jierika) And I translated it myself. 3nodding
My nickname was first supposed to be an English name because my RP character was from England, but then I changed it to her being Japanese. Her name is still the same. As English it was ヘルモーニー。(Herumounii) As Japanese it was 経妄荷。(Herumouni)

It is pronounced "MIMI". (Consonants are pronounced more or less the same way as in English. "I" sounds like ee in meet, but shorter.)

Heh..
It's Mimi.~
.___.
That reminds me of the Japanese character for 3.

My name pronounced in Japanese was mistranslated (sort of) the first time I went to japanese class. My two teachers have their favorite ways of saying my name, Runee Tashya or Renee Teshie. Personally I like Runee, but I also like Teshie because it IS the correct pronunciation of my (french) name.

Weird, huh? I wonder what the name generator says *goes to look*

Torisutan...My dad already calls me that because last he heard I was trying to learn the languge and needed practice. Daddy is Tomasu, Thomas ^-^ My japanese name sounds pretty close to how my real name is usually pronounced, so I get off easy, yayness.

(Consonants are pronounced more or less the same way as in English. "A" sounds like a in father, but shorter. "I" sounds like ee in meet, but shorter. "U" sounds like oo in hook, but with less rounding of the lips. "O" sounds like o in old.)
