*Koth shifted his weight and sat back down, watching her curiously*

By all means... You've got me curious.

*Koth stood back up and focused on the level, bringing a portal slowly into view. Before it was complete, sparks of LGHT shot inward, to which Koth focused harder still on the creation. LGHT grew stronger as he tried harder, but he then took a heavy step forward. DRK seemed to outright explode from his body, forcing a great mass from himself and the realm around into the portal, completing it and even sending a wave of DRK through to the other side, causing damage to a wall within level 7. The LGHT seal broke, and the portal now active*

*For the sake of amusement, and whatever other reason one could gather, Koth stepped through and followed her*

The blonde started to pace through the DRK in no particular direction, seeming listless. Her senses were returning more and more as the mist brought her back to normal levels. It didn't make the hurting in her heart stop, though. Perhaps it numbed her a little...she wasn't able to make the distinction anymore. Her weary gaze met with the eternity of DRKNRGY before her as the mist swirled and swam with each step she took.

Her mind had been bouncing back and forth between concern for Koth and hurt confusion over what had become plain to her about herself. Somehow, she had been brought here around a month ago, and that orange chemical had been used to change her memory. It was obvious that Doctor MK had been the one to do it...even if she had no recollection, and even if her mind was in constant conflict over the impossibility of him doing something like this to her. She'd trusted Doctor MK so much. He'd been her only friend, her confidant...but...

The girl stopped, allowing herself to slump into a sitting position. None of those feelings were true. They were based on memories of times that didn't exist, on a relationship that was a fantasy. Maybe in some way she had trusted him when they knew each other...maybe...maybe she'd volunteered for this...but she couldn't shake the feeling that she hadn't. Seeing herself getting carried in through the gate, unconscious...and the look on Doctor MK's face. She felt she knew what his expression said. Whatever she was, or whoever she was...she'd probably been some kind of experiment for him. A chance to test Orange.

Goosie brought her knees up to her chest, hugging her arms around and laying her cheek against them. She closed her eyes as they started to sting again, having no idea where she could go with herself from here. The DRK, at least, gave her a place she could call home...but only that infectious instinct made it feel that way. As insipid as it was, the girl knew enough to understand that in reality, she was lost, and it was only coincidence that she'd found some comfort in DRKNRGY.

Now, she realized too, she wouldn't be able to go back to the facility without putting herself at risk. Doctor MK could not be trusted...and for the time being, she had no idea what she should do. Find her true home? Stay in the DRK realm? Go somewhere entirely different...? None of it appealed. It was all equally empty-feeling. Like her life, the life she knew, had been stolen away from her, made a mockery of and thrown back in her face.

She sat huddled there for a while, thinking about Koth and wondering if he'd been handling the LGHT okay. Admittedly, she wasn't really very sure who might have the upper hand in combat. She'd always seen MK as the stronger candidate, but she was probably supposed to see things that way, so who really knew? Perhaps her potentially underestimating Koth was something MK had had a hand in as well. Considering the possibilities now seemed futile.

Finally, her mind drifted back to how this had all started. Sam. Goosie opened her eyes, thinking as she gazed off at the DRK. She still had one thing she could focus on. Perhaps Koth would help her...maybe not. At least she had someone to consider an ally for now, someone who could help her become stronger, and help her find Cruix. With nothing else really left in her life, this was the only thing that still seemed to mean much to her.

Her mind a little closer to set, she turned her face inwards, closing her eyes again and trying to drift away and escape the thoughts that dogged her.

Goosie lifted her head slowly, at first looking bewildered as her mist began to abandon her. When she finally looked up and head on, she gasped, scrambling up to her feet and running toward Cruix.

"Sam!" She called out to her friend, almost like the girl she had been before the DRK.

Goosie beamed at her, catching her breath before she said, "I-it's a long story...why did you run away like that? Well, actually, I guess I kind of understand...MK..." She trailed off for a moment at the mention of him, but then decided this wasn't the time, "...Well, he's pretty intensely LGHT...but still, why didn't you come back? I was worried about you, you know!"

Goosie nodded as Cruix concluded that she was a DRK user too.

"What are you looking for? Maybe I can help you?" She asked, not even thinking as she said it.
