(I understand that we just had the holidays and what not but why isn't any one posting? I know some of you might not want to continue due to what you think is lack of an interesting plot or something, but it will never get better if you don't post. I'm just wanting to continue is all.)

Zak put his goggles on and logged on to the web through them. Twitching his hands to control his progress, he surfed the web. "That's interesting," he said after a moment, "This says that there was an explosion up at Mars station, no word of the extent of the damages, or how many were, casualties," He raised his goggles as the elevator came to a stop, "I think this is our stop guys,"

'Well thank you Captain Obvious.' Kev resisted voicing his comment seeing as how last time he spoke his mind he got a sharp smack in the nose. Kev took a moment to look over their...eclectic group. There was Falcon, who he thus far thought of as unstable, moody, and the possible weak-link in the chain here. Then there was Mr. Tech Zak here. Those goggles would come in handy, but he wasn't sure how well they would get along, especially with the whole know-it-all thing going on. Tobias was the quiet one, which suited Kev fine. At least there was one that had a chance of not driving him crazy. Last but not least there was Faolan. He was a little harder to read. Thus far he wasn't unbearably full of himself, but he still seemed to have some of that lecturing, "little revolutionary" thing about him. Kev wished Andrew would be coming along too, for he seemed to be the only slightly normal person in the elevator at the moment. But hey, that's life; just one kick in the pants after another, just some are a little softer. 'Well at least I'll be doing something with my life.'
(Sorry if the judgments are offensive or false to anyone, but I'm just writing for the character sweatdrop )

Tobais looked at Zak in astonishment. He understood what technologies were available to the community but he had never personally used much of it. In all actuality Tobais was technologically inept. The most technoligically advanced thing he would work was an mp3 player, and not even to great effect. "Not to sound rude, but how much time do you spend with that stuff," Tobais asked Zak. "Its just that I don't know how to use much of the tech thats out there so I was just curious how long you've been at it to use it to such effect." Now I feel foolish, Tobais thought. After the split second of embarassment Tobais just waited for a reply.

Zak grinned, "Most of my time when I'm not eating or at school," he replied, "Which is most of the day, actually. The key to using motion tracking systems is to think outside the analog interfaces that are the norm here." He looked up as the elevator came to a halt and opened out onto a courtyard, "I think this is where we part ways for now," he said, "When and where shall we meet up again?"

Kev put on his headphones and flipped on his MP3 just after Tobias spoke up again and hoped they'd be at the supply room quick.

Little miss innocent sugar me.......
The elevator opened and Kev waited for Andrew to lead the way.

Head still reeling after hearing Zak's response, Tobais just moved onward. All that jargon had confused Tobais. Interface? Analog? Motion tracking systems? Clearly if there is anything to be done technilogically we will be refering to him. Tobais let out a sigh. Maybe he'd be willing to teach me...if not I could probably attempt to pick up a thing or two from watching him do whatever it is that he does....although its highly doubtful.

Faoloan jumped slightly as the elevator dinged lightly. It wasn't that he was scared, he had just been lost in thought. Andrew pushed through the group of kids to the front of the elevator doors, which opened silently. "This is Mac." he said, gesturing to a man of about 23 who was waiting in front of the elevator. "He will take you to the supply room and then back here, where I will take you back to um...him." Mack led the children down a hallway covered in a deep maroon carpet with candles lining the walls, glowing softly.

Kev quickly stepped out of the elevator and into the hallway for two reasons; to get this show on the road and to make some space between him and his thus far irritating companions. He plucked his headphones off and stuffed them into his pocket, waiting for the next direction seeing as how he'd probably get morbidly lost and in all sorts of trouble if he wandered off by himself. 'Hey, if I'm gonna be the city's puppet I might as well get used to taking orders on where to walk and how.'
(Aw, not again gonk . Come on people, don't let it die! We've been doing so well!)
