Jade smiled once more, biting into the apple again. "So true. Wise words from such a young one." She was indeed utterly surprised that such a young boy made it to the rank of a Kage. He must be incredibly talented and respected. Sadly for her, the only shinobi she actually had to worry about was a single Chuunin, who didn't require too much attention. Aeden was set to watch himself, as he was her trusty sannin. "I just noticed, I have yet to ask your name?"

Matsuya smiled again. "Thank you. And as for my name, it's Matsuya Komihachi, Hokage and head of the Nara Clan." He smirked, biting his finger a bit. "Yours?"

Jade nodded her head, one of the Nara clan dealt with shadow manipulation, this she knew. "Jade Shihouin Uchiha." For some reason, she trusted this boy, and thus revealed her true last name. Shihouin was her alias, which she used most often.

Matsuya thought for a moment. "An Uchiha. That would mean you or your family was originally from Konohagakure. Am I correct?" Matsuya's fingers stopped messing with the sleeve of his robe. He looked at her. He rarely trusted people, and when he did he had good reason. And he did trust her. It was strange.

Jade nodded her head, staring out the window once more. "Aye, I used to be a Leaf Shinobi...though that was in another life." She played with the apple in her hand, and bit into it once more. Her golden eyes scanned the village, looking at the tall buildings, the many trees, and the people still out.

Matsuya placed his hands on his desk. "I see. Well it seems we both left our homes. And somehow we emerged kages out of it. It's strange how that works, isn't it." Matsuya smiled again. He thought about how many people he protected on a dialy basis, but yet they hardly ever knew it. The whole village, he worked everyday to ensure their safety. It made him happy, protecting them.

Jade nodded her head, giggling a bit. She was just about done with the apple, and took another bite. "Aye, what an oddity." She too felt the heavy burden of being a Kage. People's very lives were in her hands. One wrong choice, and she could have an entire village against her. It was tough, but seeing the people happy made her feel great. She simply loved it.

Matsuya nodded. "Well? Have you made a choice on an alliance yet?" He smiled, hoping she had. If he had to make a truce, he would. He had known he would since they first started their conversation. Anyone who's story was so close to his won couldn't be someone Matsuya would fight. It just didn't make sense.

Jade thought for a moment, looking at the core of the apple. Could she align herself with the very village who stole what was rightfully hers? Who banished her from ever becoming one of theirs ever again? She sighed, and stood to her feet. "Yes, I have actually. Hokage-sama, would you agree to joining in an alliance with me, and the village of Iwagakure?" Jade raised an eyebrow, tossing the apple in the trash.

Daichi walked into the building, and could feel another big chakra signature besides that of the Hokage. He made his way to the Hokage's main office, and then knocked on the door to the room. He crossed his arms behind his back as waited to be given permission to enter, and the chains wrapped around his forearms gave away his identity as they clinked together while his arms were crossed.

Matsuya chuckled as he heard the chains outside the door. "Come in Daichi, you're just in time for once." His eyes moved back to Jade. "I would. I can swear to you that my village won't attack Iwagakure and that if you are attacked, we will come to your aid." Matsuya smiled warmly. That was two alliances now, one with Iwagakure and one with Sunagakure.

Daichi heard that part of the conversation, and quickly opened the door. He was surprised to find the newly instated Tsuchikage in the office as well. He exteded his hand to Jade. "Daichi's the name. Any yours?" He turned his head to the Hokage. "What did I miss?"

Matsuya smiled. "We, my friend, have made an alliance with Iwagakure." Matsuya smiled again, looking out the window again. The moon was illuminating the village now. It looked beautiful to him.

Deil clasped Jade's hands with both of his after hearing this. "Well, then I look forward to fighting alongside each other." He turned his attention back toward the distracted Hokage. "So, have we gained any new genin since my short leave of absence?"

Matsuya shook his head. "No. We only have a few academy students that I am training as we speak. But you can take over at the academy, if you wish." Matsuya bit his lip, remembering his chunin and jounin. "Tia and Nyoko are at the Hotsprings. I gave them the night off."
