Lucis was completely unperturbed by the obvious dark aura come nearer, responding to his query simply. 'I don't do defense. It's not my job. Besides, I gave her quite a bit of a defense without them even realizing it.'

She felt that he was near the street where she was but she remained at her post, thinking he would be turning here as well. 'Surrender? As if. Fight me and you'll see just how likely that possibility is for you.' The brunette did see the red eye, instantly recognizing it as the man from before.

'Fine, you want a fight around civilians. I'll give you a fight!' Light burst from the street at the same time a flying bladed-fan whipped around the turn towards the crowd Lone was hiding in. A light-shield came up between the trench-coated man and the civilians around him, though leaving the civilians space to run.

"You want a fight? Fine. No one said I'd fight on your terms." She walked though the shield, fan coming back to her hand as soon as she was within the circle.

Lucis rolled her eyes and smirked. "Please." She clapped once and the dome went blank and opaque. Now the citizens could come to their own conclusions without the aid of any false illusions.

A simple glare in Lone's direction resulted in a beam of light shooting down off the sun and into Lucis' palm-up hand before forming a small light-bomb that she lobbed at him.

"Learn from this mistake. Serenity will have no qualms explaining what happened here once I tell her. And before you think it, you are unlikely to be able to stop me from telling her." The bladed-fan followed up after the light-bomb, whirling through the air like a sawblade of death towards Lone. He would probably be able to dodge it, all he would have to do is knock it off course.

Lone's smile removed itself as he watched the attacks coming. As Lucis had thrown her two attacks, Lone continued to stand still. The bomb went off, sending out blinding light. Following the light was the sound of a sharp blade striking metal. As the light diminished, and vision came back to everyone, Lone was standing where he was, unharmed, only now, he was holding something. A sword. The sword was a long broad sword that was glowing in a silver color.

The sword remained by his side, as he took an unguarded stance as he was doing before the attack. "The Mugen Sword." Lone said to her. "A sword that has no true form. It is in fact, not even a sword." Lone raised the sword up from his side, gripping it with both hands. The sword glowed for a moment before it became two Katanas, one in each hand and of equal length.

"I search for a long time for this weapon. A weapon that can take form to it's owners desires. ...But enough talk..." As Lone spoke, the end of the day had shown itself as the Sun was setting, slowly covering the area in shadows. As the shadows began to touch Lone's body, he said to Lucis, "My powers is that of Shadows and Illusions. You stand no chance against me with the fading light of the sun."

Juneko could see the fight between Lucis and this stranger going on in her head, her eyes glowing a light blue to show this concentration. "Serenity-sama, Lucis has decided to fight in public with this stranger. Should we do something about it?" she asked. Although she wasn't worry about the woman the fact that she was putting the public in danger didn't sound so good. Not to mention that it was getting dark and she was technically powerless in the dark. "The sun is already setting."

((I know but I couldn't think of anything else to say. And what I originally planned to say would just sound boring. xD ))

Watching both her tessens crack in half and fall to the ground, Lucis could only stare in horror. 'I only made those a month ago!' She looked back up to see her light attack burn through.. whatever and reveal a metal hand. "If you're supposed to be Serenity's brother, exactly how human are you!?" She didn't have time to say much else, having to clear her head from having her shield tainted and then destroyed.

'Die? Oh please.' A gold and purple naginata appeared in her right hand. It seemed both were down to longer-range weapons. "I'm not planning on dying again, thanks. Once was bad enough." She whipped the naginata sideways at Lone while the scythe was still being raised. He'd have to reverse directions quickly if he wanted to block it.

Lucis's words seemed to make Lone take a quick glance at the people around him. 'How human am I? ...or is the question... how much of being human have I lost?' Lone's smirks seemed to fade slowly to a faint frown as he stared at Lucis.

Lone's eyes focused on Lucis' Naginata, or rather, a variation of a European Glaive. '...Saturn...' When he came back to from his thoughts, he was only a second from being struck by the weapon. It was too late to dodge the weapon. The blade struck and sliced into his side, blood gushing out from where he was struck. Lone's face slowly looked down to where he was struck. Lone coughed up blood, holding tightly onto the weapon with his free hand as he slowly slumped down to his knees. Looking back up to Lucis, his eyes made contact with hers.

Though Lucis was standing front of him, standing over him, a piercing feeling would come over her from her her chest and back. Standing behind her was...Lone? How was this possible? Lone was standing behind Lucis with a Katana shoved through her back and out through her chest. "You only died once? ...That's not even worth bringing up, nor boasting about."

The 'Lone' that was stabbed by Lucis started to produce black smoke as the true form of the 'Lone' was relieved. It was one of the Youmas he had captured from before. The real Lone had teleported from the space he was in when the Shadow's energy was being absorbed into him, leaving behind a Youma that had been forced to look like him. As the Youma leaned back and died, Lone leaned in closer to Lucis from behind her and said into her ear, "I have lost my life ... over 200 times."

Lone forcefully kicked Lucis in the back, forcing her forward, pulling his sword out of her as she was forced forward. Lone lowered his sword and gripped his trench coat, ripping it off, revealing his mechanical right arm. "You loose... so much of your human side... when you do what is necessary... to survive in the vast emptiness of space."

Lone lifted his sword and pointed the tip at Lucis, stepping firmly on her Naginata and breaking the wooden length from the pressure. Lone's eyes were different now. There was no smile on his face, nor was there any form of enjoyment he got from fighting. Even the menacing glowing red eye was gone, replaced with an empty darkness.
