xuriel "Oh bother" Xuriel had saw the creature approach the man but the man seemed intent on chasing the girl, he couldn't believe he was going to do this. Xuriel appeared right on top of the creature effectively smashing it to the ground. He pinned it down and drew his katanas. "Need help?" he quipped.

Zaber Blade xuriel "Oh bother" Xuriel had saw the creature approach the man but the man seemed intent on chasing the girl, he couldn't believe he was going to do this. Xuriel appeared right on top of the creature effectively smashing it to the ground. He pinned it down and drew his katanas. "Need help?" he quipped. Zaber was unsure how to respond. He simply had to chase down Melody and figure out what the hell was going on. But he'd never been offered help from a stranger. There was also no way to tell if this was a Turk or Desendent getting ready to go after Vaizel once he left. "Who are you?" Zaber asked, and then added, "How do I know I can trust you?"

AkaneAme (OCC: I know that Chocobos can't fly, I was just implying the bird ran off) Sofia glares at Vaizel and brings the bow in front of her, running at him with the bow, the harpoon edge out and ready. She is giggling and starts to make sure that she did a better job. "Sabel, is Sabel, she isn't this DAWN!"

OOC: We're finally done xp Now I shall post! And who said the Chocobo ran off?
Kuroi had begun to stare at Vaizel in an odd manner, and then, with a happy cry of "WARRRRRK!" It fluttered over to the man's side and affectionately nuzzled his shoulder then, turning, it warked a battle cry and charged Sofia, attempting to knock her away from his rider.
OOC: yes, The chocobo is now siding with Vaizel against Sofia. Who's running off now? twisted

Vaizel started in some surprise as the Chocobo physically displayed it's affection, and then proceeded to attack Sofia. He hesitated for one moment as he stared at the bird, The he grinned, "Her name is Dawn! NOT Sabel, and Kuroi is PROOF! Only for her would Kuroi do anything! I doubt you could find a chocobo elsewhere who matched his markings!" He cried with triumph, Then he drew the sharp edges of his wings before him, affectively blocking Sofia from approaching close enough to attack with her Harpoon. "Give Dawn back to me and I will permit you to leave unharmed!!"

Zaber was torn in three ways now. First, there was his old friend, Melody, who had suddendly gone berserk and joined the side that killed her family. Second, his new friend Vaizel needed his help. Last, his brother who he'd long though to be dead, would be dead if he didn't get him medical attention. All three he valued equaly. OK, Melody would probably survive on her own. Vaizel, this new guy, Romulus, and Garm were all here and against one desendent. The choice was clear.
"Vaizel! I'm sorry, I have to get Shade to Aumedeus! I'll be back as soon as I can!" Zaber jumped on the dragon and kicked it's sides, and the dragon lifted off the ground. Zaber found controlling the dragon rather unorthadox, but he eventually got it to work. They flew off, and Zaber hoped he wouldn't be to late.

It took a few moments for the monster to realize that the thing heading towards it was attacking it. When it was already too late, it did. Pinned to the ground it struggled and smelled the thing holding it down. Slow garbled speech slid past its maw,"You ssstarrp 'ee, 'aarsssstaarrr naat pleeessssst iths 'ee eeff you staarrp 'ee." ( translation: you stop me, Master not pleased with me if you stop me.) The monster struggled to rise, but now the wound told its tale. It was hurt in just such a spot that ia was all it could do to move its shoulders. Hissing, the hideous beast still sought to fight its restraints. Almost whimpering it growled , " 'Aaarsstaarr taaalt t' gehht 'eerrrd ahn, 'aarstaarr naht heer." (translation: master told to get bird one, master not here.) It no longer struggled, now it curled in on itself, almost looking like a grotesque parody of a child. The moster lay still, its slow brain focused only on its master.

"Thats right big boy settle down your master's probably coming very soon, pity you won't be awake." Xuriel replied in a coaxing voice. Make it sleep, he concentrated and the beast seemed to relax. "Whew" he looked around, better get out of here. With that Xuriel vanished.

Asleep the monster dreamed, unpleasant dreams. It snarled noislessly at some faceless enemy only it could see. Beneath all the pain it felt, there was still one thought it focused on. Its Master wasn't with it. It called out in its dream, and an answer rippled back. Coming...Come, Obey. Its fears allayed, it slept with no troubles as it waited.

Zaber managed to land the dragon in front of Midgar Hospital with a thud. He grabbed Shade and rushed into the hospital. "Get me Aumedeus!" He screamed at the nurse, who ran in fear. He didn't mean to sound angry, but he was in a hurry, Vaizel might still need his help. Aumedeus came out and took Shade in the back. Zaber, just in case, took Shade's Gun and materia with him. He took off back towards the water supply, he looked like he was limping compared to his usual graceful flight.

"She is of Descendents, you will not harm us," her voice is low and she holds her weapon up to Vaizel. She has no understanding of what he is talking of, but is certain he works for TURKS. She taps her communication unit and sighs, she is getting no aid from Kadaj or Yazoo in this.

OOC: scream It ATE my post!!! *kills random NPC to vent rage*
"You are quite certain of yourself aren't you little girl? 'Twould appear you and that unconscious girl are the only other Children of Jenova here." Stated a dark figure on a nearby rooftop. He spoke calmly, his blazing green eyes the only distinguisable feature visible between layers of black silken cloth. A few silver tendrils of hair crossed over his hidden face as they blew in the wind. "Is that insolent girl really worth fighting for? She has already defied orders, and should not have come here to begin with, doubly so for you, your leaders will already be most disappointed in the both of you." He tossed a handful of round objects to the ground which erupted in smoke and bright light. The figure leapt down and grabbed Sofia, who was likely as blinded as the rest, "Come, now would be the best time to flee, while they are unable to see us!"

Vaizel's lip curled into a snarl at Sofia's words. "you know nothing! How long have you known Dawn? How are you so very certain you can speak for her?" He shifted his position to a more offensive one in the face of her threatening stance. "I will not let you leave with her! You and your 'decendants' have done enough damage already." He tensed as if to charge, but before he could the dark figure appeared, Vaizel glared at him from the corners of his eyes, loath to change his position fo face this new opponent. Vai was more than a little surprised when the small round objects were thrown in his general direction. Smoke bombs? he thought eyes widening as he recognized them, he barely had time to shut his eyes, and take a deep breath before the contraptions went off. Vaizel had seen these things before, he had once had a freind who used them. with his eyes still shut tight he bolted towards Sofia, He was not going to let them take Sabel! He may have been blind but he knew where the two clones where and in a breif space of time he jarred his mechanical leg on the motorbike. Wasting not even a thought he wrapped his arms around the still unconcious figure, simply stiffening his own body and enclosing the both of them in his metal wings. No one would take her! he thought wildly, his lungs were starting to burn in protest of the lack of air, and unable to hold his breath any longer Vaizel gasped, then began to cough as the smoke invaded his lungs. No one would take her from him again! He decided fanatically, as he clutched his burden.

Zaber got close to the Walter Supply and saw the smoke Cloud below. He knew it would be foolish to dive head first in, he didn't know what had transpired since he left. He hovered over the cloud, waiting for the smoke to clear.
