"Alright come on, you have brownies to eat." Hale said laughing softly as a smile came to his lips. He text his little sister telling her he was on the way home before walking towards the elevator stopping to wait on Kyle. "Come on slow poke I promise they won't poison you." he said still smiling to the other.

"Shut up" Kyle said sticking his tongue out at the other as he reached him. He signed out before they left.

Hale stuck his tongue right back out at Kyle before laughing softly. He followed Kyle as they walked out of the hospital. "So I'm dragging you to my house unless you want ice cream first." he said smiling down to the other.

"no thanks" he said staggering a bit as he walked. His body still rather weak from the recent blood loss.

Hale nodded and slid an arm around Kyle's shoulders as he walked. "Are you going to be ok?" he asked quietly smiling to the boy. "I can always give you a piggy back ride, those are fun." He offered laughing softly.

"I can walk by myself" He said moving away from the other. It would take a while for him to warm up to him.

"Alright, but I'll be here when you don't want to." Hale said softly and smiled. Besides the random humming he did as the two walked he stayed rather silent till they came up to a cute little two-storey blue house on the corner. "Well here's my home." he said softly and opened the door holding it open for Kyle. "Kyle first." he said smiling warmly to the boy.

Kyle did as he was told walking inside. The place was homey. Nothing like his own house. This house was warm and inviting..his house seemed cold and heartless like his father.

"I know my sister and brother are around here somewhere." Hale said as he walked in shutting the door behind him. Just as he heard the click the boy was tackled to the floor by his twin brother and sister. "H-help....." He whined trying to crawl away from his siblings. He looked up to Kyle with a pout. "Kyleeee help pweeeeze." he said before smiling up to the other.

Kyle just watched the two. He was not used to so many loving people. He found himself backing away a bit and looking away. He felt lost and out of place here.

Hale pouted slightly as Kyle turned away but his siblings climbed off of him and hugged the boy. He bit his lip and stood up watching the two.
"Welcome to our home, Kyle." Abbie said smiling brightly up to Kyle.
"Come on we just took the brownies out of the oven!" Jonathan said and took Kyle's hand and was about to drag him into the kitchen when Hale ruffled his hair.
"You two calm down, he just got out of the hospital don't send him back." Hale said softly and shooed his younger sibling back into the kitchen. "Sorry about them Kyle, we are a hyper bunch." he said and smiled to the other boy. "Come on brownies await us!" Hale said and walked to the kitchen.

Kyle flinched and pulled his hand away backing up again when the boy grabbed his hand. This was way to much for the boy right now. He found himself turning and running out of the house. He couldn't take this much love and joy. It made him want to just puke. He hated it. It reminded him of his mother. Something he had blocked out of his mind long ago. Kyle had ran all the way to a deserted park. He found a bench and sat down. He placed his head in his hands bitting back the tears as memories he had suppressed ventured back into his thoughts.

I was at a friends birthday party for....two days.)
Hale looked back seeing Kyle fleeing out the front door. "Kyle wait!" He called after the boy but he was gone down the street already. Hale sighed and ran out the door after the other hopeing to eventually catch up to the boy. He lost Kyle near the park and stopped running panting now. It took him a few minutes of catching his breath before he started to walk again looking foor Kyle. After a few minutes he spotted the boy sitting on a bench and quietly walked over to him. "You alright Kyle?" Hale asked softly looking down to the other.

Kyle didn't look up at the other. "I'm fine" He lied keeping his face hidden. He couldn't take the love. It was to much for the boy. "Im sorry" He said whipping his eyes but never looking up. "I cant be in that house..not with that kind of love" He said quietly.
