"Close your eyes Bite your tongue And pretend you never Saw the sun rise Or heard a song sung With wistful wonder" -Omg A Name- Kathrine Jean Johnson :.Kat.:Ok, so, hesitating right now would be incredibly stupid, and maybe that's what it would look like that's what KAt was dong, but.... She really had no energy to get over that wall, and wanted to collapse right there.
But after a few, very brief moments, closed her eyes tightly and opened them, immediately throwing her bag over the wall. No flipping way she was going to climb it with that. She jumped for it, she grabbed, she climbed, she almost fell, she didn't, she strained, and she was up.
She knew the boys were at the wall now, they couldn't be stopped. Alarms could change that now. No, Kat may well fall over the wall, but on the outside, that wouldn't matter. They wouldn't be pursued would they? No, right? So it didn't matter.
And yet, she didn't go over yet. No, she had to make sure the boys were climbing and and... calm down. "Kyle.." she choked out, trembling.

Brooklyn Elizabeth Madison --------------------------------------------------------------------- Cause I’ve been housing all this doubt and insecurity. And I’ve been locked inside that house all the while you hold the key. And I’ve been dying to get out and that might be the death of me. And even though, there’s no way in knowing where to go, promise I’m going because,
--------------------------------------------------------------------- Brooklyn ended up on top of the wall. She stood up, trying to get a good view. If they were smart, they would leave the alarms off, come after them silently. Trick them.
But she strained her eyes, not seeing anything at all yet. She was nearly dancing, giddy. "Come on Kat," She whispered as the girl came up to the top. She was watching the boys and Brook knew they needed to head over the otherside.
Brooklyn started her way down, slowly. When her feet touched the ground her ankle ******** Kat supposed to be the clumsy one?! She winced in pain, fell the rest of the way to the ground, and balled her fists. "Carl?" She looked up towards the sky, looking at the wall. She had to keep going though, limping slightly. Thats when she heard the alarms.
Dammit. Really?
--------------------------------------------------------------------- I gotta get outta here. Because I’m afraid that this complacency is something I can’t shake. I gotta get outta here. And I’m begging You, I’m begging You, I’m begging You to be my escape.

Kyle Tanner Crawford Kyle was yanking himself up the wall, nearing the top with Carl. He pulled himself up higher and higher. "Kat, go," He urged, his face serious and stern. "Please, we'll be fine. Go. Kat. Please."
He was close to the top of the wall and right when he got up there he stradled the wall and looked back towards the field. Thats when he saw the red lights.
"Damn," Kyle cursed as he flipped to the otherside of the wall. Thats when he saw Brook at the bottom, limping a bit. "Alarms. Guards. GO." He was pulling down Kat, getting her gently on the ground.
s**t s**t s**t. Hey, it couldn't be easy could it?

C a r l y l e .. H a n k .. O . ' H a r a Birds flying high.. you know how I feel. Sun in the sky... you know how I feel. Reeds drifting on by... you know how I feel. It's a new dawn, It's a new day, It's a new life... For me. And I'm feeling good. Carl could feel his palms sweating as he grabbed onto bits of the wall to pull himself further up it. Kat was further up, and Brook was presumably already on the other side. But hearing a light thud through the wall and grit his teeth, panicked. He quickened his pace up the wall and when he got to the top, looked down at the bottom to see Brook getting to her feet with a little struggle.
"Brook- you okay?!" he whisper-shouted, as he climbed down the rest of the wall. He jumped down the last bit of wall, just as Kyle landed from his flip over the wall, helping Kat down.
"s**t." Carl looked up at the red flashing that was coming from behind the wall as the sound of the sirens hit his ears and in an instant ran over to Brook and grabbed her arm, holding one arm around her waist and beginning to run, keeping her twisted ankle of the ground as much as he could.
They wouldn't go after them would they? They wouldn't actually climb over the wall they so religiously said to never cross just to teach them a lesson.. would they?
He didn't know where they were running to, but 'anywhere but here' seemed to be the shared understanding between the four of them.

"Close your eyes Bite your tongue And pretend you never Saw the sun rise Or heard a song sung With wistful wonder" -Omg A Name- Kathrine Jean Johnson :.Kat.:Kat somehow made it up the wall, but she was reeeally not looking forward to trying to get down. She wasn't sure she even could get down without getting hurt... crap...
Her fears were renewed when Brook obviously hurt herself. Brook! If she couldn't do it then how was Kat supposed to?
"Kyle.. I can't... " she winced. Kyle was trying to get her to go, but this wall was really high!
And then he was up and over just like that! He reached up to try and help her down. Kat breathed in deeply and went over the edge, hands clinging to the top so she didn't just fall until she was ready. The alarm was going off to, oh no oh no.......
She closed her eyes and let go. And fell into Kyle's arms.
She hugged him tightly, and then pulled back and looked around, she saw that Carl had gotten over too and was trying to help Brook.
Lights. Hasn't Brook said something about lights? Kat looked again. It was still just dusk, but... yes! "There!" she pointed.
||K, so, waaay different pic there, but it suits her better so oh well =D||

Or more or less she was limping and trying to run. The lights were close, but not quite close enough. Would they make it? She could hear the sirens nearing them.
She was breathing heavier and her heart was racing. Kat was in Kyle's arms and they were speeding ahead of them and she waved them to continue forward. Kyle had looked back at them to check.
"Carlyle, go on. Seriously. You can't get caught.."

Kyle Tanner Crawford Kyle was clutching Kat when he heard the sirens. "s**t damn ********> He was cursing as he ran, feeling the burn in his legs and thighs. He was breathing heavier and rushing past Carlyle and Brooklyn. But he turned to make sure she was alright, she told him to keep going.
Of course, he felt bad but they had to move forward. The lights that Kat were pointing out were so close..so close. He was biting his tongue and sweating like crazy. "We can do this," He muttered, looking back at Brook and Carl. "They have to make it.." What should they do? Stop..go forward..

It's a new dawn, It's a new day, It's a new life... For me. And I'm feeling good. Carl watched as Kyle and Kat raced ahead, he turned to look back quickly and panicked by how close the lights and sounds suddenly were.
"Are you stupid?" he snapped at Brook's suggestion, "Shut up. Come on-" he said, pausing briefly to pick her up, not really giving her time to convince him otherwise.
"Keep going!" Carl yelled to Kyle, who looked as though he was hesitating. Taking her whole weight onto his arms, he ran, as fast as he could. This terrain was weird. The original greenery had now turned to concrete, which Carl only noticed when he was running on it.
He ran, his grip tight on Brook and decided to go down a different path that Kyle was going down. If they were still being followed, not that he'd slow down to check, splitting up was the best thing to do if they wanted to make it.
Nodding at Kyle as they caught up, Carl swerved to the right, going down a narrow path between two walls, and from the sounds of it, further away from the sirens. He saw a gap in the wall and ran for it, before squeezing in, and pressing his back up against the wall. There was just enough room for two people standing, so his body holding Brooks, it was a good fit. He shut his eyes and kept his iron grip on Brook and tried to steady his breathing, and breathe quieter.
It was like they were being hunted or some s**t.
It was ******** scary.

--------------------------------------------------------------------- Brooklyn sighed. "But-" It was too late Carl was already lifting her into his arms and carrying her.
She clutched her arms around his neck and tucked her face near his chest. Her breathing was heavy and blowing onto his shirt. She was biting on her lip. Everything was slowly falling to pieces..they just..they couldn't get caught! It would be all her fault!
She thought this plan was fool-proof. But obviously not.
Sooner than she thought they stopped. Brook peeked her head up and looked around. Carlyle had squeezed them between some walls in a crevice. She brushed his sweaty hair from his face, looking into his eyes. She gave him a silent thank you before resting her head on his chest. She knew better than to move too much, and she was praying that Kyle and Kat were smart enough to hide out as well.

"Close your eyes Bite your tongue And pretend you never Saw the sun rise Or heard a song sung With wistful wonder" -Omg A Name- Kathrine Jean Johnson :.Kat.:Kat had no idea how fast or far they were running, but they had past up the lame Brooklyn and Carl.
She hardly had time to think, but she was hoping they could make it. And when Kyle paused, she immediately looked back, almost collapsing on her feet. They... they couldn't leave them... maybe... maybe Kyle could carry Brook? But wait, Carl was already doing that.
Kat had thought Kyle would be able to run faster then Carl with while holding someone, but, there was no time to really think about it.
Kyle was already pulling her again, and she was struggling to keep up.
They were suddenly on some kind of hard ground too, but oh, they were just going so fast! And her sides were splitting, legs straining, burning... she couldn't go much further...
And then she tripped. Hard.

Carl's breathing had slowed, and the sounds of sirens and running footsteps were fairly distant by now. He looked down at Brook with her head buried into his chest and then peeked out from behind the wall. Nothing. As far as he and Brook were concerned, they were safe for now.
Carlyle leant his head back against the wall and shut his eyes for a second. He hoped Kyle and Kat had gotten away. They must've have. They couldn't have been caught. That kind of stuff isn't supposed to happen in situations like these. He had to go check.
Looking back down at Brook, he began to loosen his hold on her, and put her down lightly on her good foot. "Listen," he started, whispering to her, watching a bead of sweat fall down the side of her face. "I have to go see what's going on."
Before she could argue, he put his hand to her mouth. "Not a word." he whispered again. "I'll be right back, I promise, just, don't move. Please?" he said, his eyes almost pleading with her this time, knowing she almost never did anything she was told. He held her hand tightly for a second, before letting go and stepping out of the crevice. He ran to the opposite wall, and walked slowly along it, before finding another small alleyway connecting to the main road, which is the one he assumed they were on before.
Carl go to the end of the alley and knelt down behind a pile of rubble and watched. The sounds of the sirens were loud again, and he could see Kyle and Kat running, with quite a distance between them and the guards. He went to wave his hands in the air to attract their attention when Kat tripped. Carl stood up immediately in horror.

Kyle Tanner Crawford Kyle had a tight grip on Kats hand as they trampled along down the road. His eyes were desperatly searching for a hideout, something..somewhere..anywhere. They just needed a safe spot.
Then Kat tripped, her face sliding into the gravel. Kyle's heart stopped. He came to a sliding hault and lifted her up over his shoulder as fast as possible. He caught a glimpse of the ridiculous glasses that Carl always had and ran towards him, hoping that he found somewhere safe for them.
"You're going to be alright." He yelled to Kat, not caring how loud he was for a moment.
Kyle didn't know how badly she was hurt and he was worried more than ever. "Carl, wheres Brook?" He was curious, not finding her there, but it wasn't long before she was running out from where he assumed they were hiding and coming towards them.
He set Kat down infront of him, shaking as he looked over over.

--------------------------------------------------------------------- Brooklyn was relaxing, just barely in Carls arms. "What?" She looked up at him as if he were completely crazed. "You're not going anywhere you idiot." She squeezed his hand tightly, her heart picking up speed quickly again.
He was asking her to stay there, without him while he went and got himself caught? Fat chance. No. No. No. "No-" But he was already letting go of her and leaving. She leaned against the wall for support, testing out her hurt ankle.
Brook could tell she was weak- very weak. She was deciding whether or not to follow him. She had to.. This was all her idea she wasn't letting them get caught without her! It was just wrong! She could still hear the sirens and her heart stopped when she heard Kyles voice, strong and stern. But she couldn't make out his words over the noises.
Brooklyn limped out of the crevice and she got there just in time to see Kat, bloodied. Her eyes widened as she picked up speed, biting her lip in pain and sucking in hair- Holding her breath.

Carl bit down on his lip hard and tasted the iron pang of blood in his mouth, as he watched Kyle pick Kat up and run towards him.
"Back there," he said signaling back to the other alley. He ripped a sleeve of his shirt off and leant down to Kat and lightly mopped away some of the blood. "Hi.. you're okay.." he said quietly, trying a small smile to hide his worry. He put his hand lightly on her arm before getting back to his feet. "I think there's an empty building here that we can hide out in for the rest of the night-" he said to Kyle again, but stopped as he turned to see Brook running towards them.
He turned around and met her halfway, grabbing onto her before she knocked herself out. "Jesus. What part of 'don't move' don't you get?" he half yelled.
The sound of the sirens suddenly got louder again, and an overhead light of some sort started to flash down on them. "s**t-" he said, looking up at the light, blinded by the intensity of it.
They had to move, now.

"Close your eyes Bite your tongue And pretend you never Saw the sun rise Or heard a song sung With wistful wonder" -Omg A Name- Kathrine Jean Johnson :.Kat.:Fortunately, Kat's face only got a little scraped up in the fall. The problem... was the blood... She had bitten her lip, and that was bleeding, but her NOSE was spurting blood.
See, Kat got nose bleeds pretty easily, often during summer because she blew her nose a little too hard, soooo, hitting it was a guaranteed bloody nose.
And it still hurt pretty flipping bad. Not to mention how radical her breathing was after collapsing from all that running. She could hardly get back up on her own again.
She had help though.
And then Carl was wiping her face... "Ooow! jus gibbe it!" she took the cloth and pressed it to her nose.
Ugh. Little scrapes on her hands too. Still, it was nothing too serious... But.. she knew she couldn't go much farther, she still could hardly breathe!
Kat had still been pretty much laying down, even after taking the cloth, but as the lights move dover them, she sat up, and reached out to Kyle, hoping he would help her up. Her legs were shaky weak from running so much.
