Emma Rae Summers Never say never. It might be the last thing you do. Emma groaned loudly against his mouth. "I wish I could've gotten away sooner." His tongue was running over her lips, then sliding against hers.
She moaned softly, grinding on him a bit. She couldn't help it. All these ragingi emotions on top of wanting him like crazy anyway, it was all so difficult. And just before she slipped off her shirt his mother busted through the door.
She mumbled something in spanish, causing Emma to jump. They usually heard her pull up and had enough time to at least look normal. But this time she had missed it.
But it looked like she waanted help with the bags in the car. Emma blushed a crimson red and stumbled off of Marco. "Uhh, sorry Ms. Martin. I didn't.. I'll go grab the rest of the bags." She ducked out the door, but not without giving Marco a small glare.
As soon as she stepped outside however, there was Diego, sitting across the street. Looking just as hot as ever too. Now, her breath was already pretty taken away, so there was no telling which cousins fault it had been. But Diego wasn't helping by any means.
But Emma sauntered across the yard quickly, ducked into the car and grabbed a few bags. As she was heading back to the house, she didn't get away so easily..

.:Marco Enrique Martin:. Quiero mostrarla que ella no necesita para tener miedo. Marco sighed and slumped back onto the couch as his mother walked in and Emma walked out to get the rest of the bags.
He smirked at his mother as she walked over into the kitchen. "Hola mi'jo.." she said, knowing his grin on his face. "Te estas divirtiendo?"
Marco got up off the couch and smiled. "Si, como no."
"Well get off your butt and come help me in the kitchen. Is bella Emma staying for dinner?" she asked, using the nickname that Emma seemed to have acquired in the house. When she first met them all properly it was true, they were all very pleased that Marco had got himself a beauty. Marco walked over and leant against the counter next to her. He shrugged his shoulders. "I think I love her ma." he said quietly.
She took out the vegetables from the bag and placed them on the counter, a small smile starting to appear on her own face. "I know you do mi'jo." she placed some vegetables on a chopping board with a knife and put it on the counter in front of him. "I know you do," she repeated again, before washing her hands and leaving probably to clear up the other half of the house.
--------
Diego looked up and waved as Maria Sanchez Martinos walked from her car into the house. He smiled to himself knowing that whatever was going on in the house right now would most definitely be interrupted. He let out a quiet chuckle and took another drag of the cigarette, watching the tiny embers float to the ground.
He looked up again to see Emma walk out, looking flushed. Ha. Busted.
For a second he wasn't going to do anything, but at the last minute, he thought. ******** it. This was his town, he could talk to whoever he wanted. Finishing the last of his cigarette and stood up and threw it to the ground, stepping on it as he walked over to the blonde.
"Hola. Como estas?" he said, standing next to her and taking the rest of the bags before she could. He pushed down the hood of the trunk and leant on it for a bit. "You're ignoring my texts, si?" he said quietly, oddly enough with a sort of sad, fading expression on his face. Before she answered, he shrugged his shoulders. "That's okay then. I won't bother you anymore." he said, maybe a little coldly. Before walking ahead into the house.
Seeing Marco in the kitchen he nodded a hello, and put the groceries on the counter behind. "Didn't want your girl to strain herself." he said, in his joking manner as usual, giving Marco a good playful slap to the arm. Marco smiled and shook his head. Maria walked back in and beamed at Diego. "Ohh Diego, how nice. You stay and eat here tonight okay?" she said pulling her nephew into a hug. In a big spanish family you couldn't really afford to have favourites, but Diego had managed to become everyones. Diego smiled but shook his head, "Gracias, but Im not too hungry tonight. Im busy." he lied. He was doing ******** all. But anymore time in the same room as Emma and he might just die.
Maria looked like she had heard this story before. "You mean seeing another girl oh?" Diego smirked, knowing Emma was in the room and hearing this. He could only hope that she was feeling something to all of this. Hope. "Si, you know me ma." he said quickly, before heading off to use the bathroom. Because this house, was virtually as much his as anyone in the Sanchez clan.

Emma Rae Summers Never say never. It might be the last thing you do. Emma whipped around to face Diego. "I don't speak spanish Diego, you know that." She felt her heart swell up in her throat, making it harder to breathe.
Being this close to him, it wasn't so easy to ignore him. "I was kinda with my boyfriend." She seethed, not playing it so easy either. "Bother me? Wait.." But he was already gone, walking into the house.
Emma followed after him, shutting the door with her foot before setting the bags down in the kitchen. Of course, she was standing there to hear that Diego was off to see another girl. Not surprising, but why did she feel ... jealous? She had Marco. He was obviously better than Diego in a thousand and six ways. So, why? Why was she so willing to screw up what she had for his cousin, of all people?
"Diego, you really should stay. Maria always makes more than enough." She smiled over at Marco's mom. Surely, Diego knew this. But she wanted him to feel that burning jealousy she felt right at the moment.
But Diego was heading towards the bathroom. "Do you need help?" She touched Marco's hand gently before making her way towards Maria to help her out with dinner.

.:Marco Enrique Martin:. Quiero mostrarla que ella no necesita para tener miedo. Marco's cooking skills were up to par, understandably- being a Spaniard, and because of this, there was already an impressingly large pile of chopped vegetables on one half of the chopping board. He started chopping the last piece when Diego came in, carrying the rest of the bags.
He raised his eyebrow at his cousin's politeness towards Emma.
It was tradition for him to at least make one overly flirtatious, sexist remark by now, but so far, zilch. Maybe it was because his mother was present, and Diego still had and ounce of manner in his little pea head of his.
After it was decided that Diego would stay for dinner, his cousin walked off to the bathroom. And as if through instinct, Marco got the feeling something was wrong with his cousin.
He looked at Emma and winked at her as she touched his hand gently before going to help his mother.
Marco grabbed a pan hanging from the ceiling and put it on the stove, which was already lit, and threw the vegetables in order, each hitting the metal pan with a satisfying sizzle. He grabbed a cloth and wiped his hands, turning around and planting a kiss on the cheeks of the two possibly most important women in his life. "Done." he said, holding onto Emma's hips from behind. "I'm gonna go put on a shirt." he said to the both of them before kissing Emma's shoulder again briefly and leaving to go change.
Maria smiled, seeing the gesture from her son through the corner of her eye. "Thankyou Mija, you can go wash your hands now too," she said gratefully to Emma after Marco had left, "and also, go to check Diego hasn't run away already, por favor." she joked.
--------
Diego walked into the bathroom and after the door shut behind him, he took out his anger on the wall, the punches muffled slightly with a towel. Nevertheless. His knuckles were still aching, verging on raw, and his temper was not calming.
Why was she doing this to him? She was no special that any other girl. And he could have any girl.
But see, that was the problem right there. She was special. Because for some god forsaken reason, in the little details of her, she saw him. Someone lost, and wanting to be found. And damnit, Marco got her first.
Diego seethed and his face crumpled up into and angry frown, and he had to force himself not to lash out again. His aunt had a sixth sense of some sort and she would no doubt know something was wrong if he punched a whole in their wall. He turned on the tap and let the water run for a second before cupping his hands under it and flinging the cold liquid onto his face, barely feeling the sting from his knuckles anymore.
Wow. Life sucked.

Emma Rae Summers Never say never. It might be the last thing you do. Emma laughed, leaning against the table as her chef-boyfriend worked his magic on the vegetables and on the stove. She inhaled deeply, breathing in the scent of the cooking food.
He was done quickly, and pausing to kiss her and his mom on the cheek. His lips graced her ear as he spoke about putting on a shirt, oh yeah. She blushed a bit before giggling and nodding as he left.
"Oh, right." She turned to leave when Maria tacked on to check on Diego. She stumbled over her words, but managed to let out an 'okay' before walking back to the bathroom. She heard the water running and knocked gently on the door before entering the bathroom.
"Diego?" Emma whispered softly, stepping inside the tiny bathroom. She shut the door and looked at him, before looking down at his hands. "What happened?" Her expression changed, making her look genuinly worried. Which, she was. She touched his hand before looking at him, "What'd you do?"

.:Marco Enrique Martin:. Quiero mostrarla que ella no necesita para tener miedo. Diego looked up as he heard the door handle turn, and next thing he knew, the beautiful blonde was in there too, touching his hand and having the cheek to even pretend she cared.
"Nothing. I am fine." he said coldly before turning his back to her to dry off his hands on a towel. He turned to leave, but instead found himself face to face with Emma, not wanting to move and lose their closeness, and hoping she was picking that up, and feeling the same too.
Ha, he doubted it, but he could only hope after all.
He bit on his lips and his eyes were stuck on hers for a second as the tension between them rose, their faces- her lips- only inches apart from his.
Diego doubted her mind was doing loop-de-loops as much as his was, this very second. And in every way, that fact alone was killing him all the more.

Emma Rae Summers Never say never. It might be the last thing you do. Emma shook her head. "Diego, you're knuckles are all torn up. You're obviously not fine." She shook her head but before she could say anything else he was face to face with her in the tiny bathroom.
She stumbled backwards, her back pressed against the door. Her eyes searched all over his face. They were in such close proximity that she could smell his sweet scent. Ever-so close to that of Marcos, and yet not exact.
Her eyes fluttered shut for a moment, feeling the tension beating between them. "If you're going to kiss me go on and do it already," She whispered, barely audible at all.
But had she meant it? Marco was right next door, in the next room! She loved him, so much too. So why was she doing this? Attention? A change? What? It made no sense. She had everything with Marco.
Was this Diego, this player, really worth losing him over?

d i e g o |x|x|a l e j a n d r o|x|x| s a n c h e z I don't do drugs darlin'. I am your drug. Diego forgot how to breathe, but it didn't seem to matter.
Emma had stepped over her own feet backwards and was now pressed against the door in front of him, maybe in an attempt to make the space between them bigger. If anything, it only emphasized how close to each other they were.
Her literal invitation to go ahead and 'do it already' wavered in front of him, and with that he took a step forward, closing the space inbetween them even more and putting his hands on the door either side of her. Diego's eyes examined hers, and this close, he could almost count the different shades of colour in her eyes.
"...I don't want to be the bad guy." He whispered, his lips pretty much aching for hers. He turned the door of the handle behind her and pulled it open slightly, before forcing himself a few good steps back.
"I wont." he said quietly, looking at the ground, waiting for her to get out of the way.

Emma Rae Summers Never say never. It might be the last thing you do. Emma's eyes hadn't moved. Had she blinked in the last seventy seconds? How long had it been actually? She searched Diego's face. She wanted this, and she could damn tell he did too.
When he closed the space between the two of them she leaned all of her body weight on the door behind her and breathed him in slowly. His lips were right there, so close.
Just as her eyes started to fade shut he spoke, causing them to shoot back open. "..." Her mouth opened but nothing came out.
Diego was opening the door, saying he didn't want to be the bad guy and that he wouldn't be. "Don't think chances like this happen everyday." She swallowed, her cheeks burning. But her voice was small. She threw herself out there, to cheat on the best thing that had ever happened to her.
"And you don't wanna be the bad guy? Don't think Marco hasn't talked about you. You've been the 'bad guy' since birth." She pushed him back and stepped out of the bathroom, feeling flustered as she stepped right into Marco.

d i e g o |x|x|a l e j a n d r o|x|x| s a n c h e z I don't do drugs darlin'. I am your drug. Diego let her push him away and watched as she left the bathroom and bumped into Marco. He heard his voice from outside, and figured he better do something to completely eliminate suspicion. He put on a smirk and walked out of the bathroom, hands in pockets. Marco looked and him and raised his eyebrow.
"Don't worry amigo, we were just having passionate sexytime." he said, winking and nudging his cousins shoulder. "Yeah. That's great Diego.." Marco said, rolling his eyes and smacking the back of Diego's head as he passed.
Diego walked into the kitchen and pulled out his phone and pretended that someone had called him.
"Hola. ...Si. What, now?" he looked at Maria, he was also looking at him and frowned at her. "But Senor, I was about to hav- Okay, okay, sorry. I'll be there soon." He clapped his phone shut and put it back in his pocket.
"Lo siento, tia." he said, apologising to Maria and giving her a kiss on the cheek. "They need help at work." he said, lying through his teeth. Working at a scrapyard did help with getting out of things at times, his boss was so dependent on the little employees he had that he was always getting calls to do extra time anyway.
"Eres mí tia favorita, no?" he said smirking as he walked away. "Adios." He passed the hallway and gave a wave to Marco, and did his best not to look at Emma, but he couldn't help himself.
As he left the house the cold air hit him in the face, painful, but needed at the same time. He jumped into he jeep across the street and drove to the scrap yard, it was only a five minute drive away, it was kind of the middle point between the city and their place. He parked up roughly in front of the gate and slipped through the gap and under the padlock and chain.
The boss always locked up when he wasn't there, but the genius never shut the door enough to stop anyone getting through. He climbed up onto a box of crates and sat on the top and lit a cigarette. He looked out at the view on offer and sighed.
What Emma had said hurt, but it was true. He had always been the 'bad guy' when compared to his cousins. Because he had always wanted to do everything different. He was willing to take risks and get hurt. But not so much anymore. Maybe he was turning into a nice guy because of her. And nice guys always finished last.

.:Marco Enrique Martin:. Quiero mostrarla que ella no necesita para tener miedo. Marco had slipped on a white shirt and walked out, just as Emma seemed to rush out of the bathroom, walking into him. He laughed and grabbed her arm. She turned to look at him, her cheeks red, eyes worried.. "Hey, you okay?" he asked, raising an eyebrow as he looked at her, then into the bathroom as the door opened, and Diego came out.
What the hell.
Diego walked out, with some corny smirk on his face, and he worried for a second. But then he came out with another wishful thought of his. "Yeah. That's great Diego..." he said, rolling his eyes as he watched his cousin walk into the kitchen. He looked at his girlfriend and gave a small smile. "You know you just gotta ignore him right?" he said brushing her hair out of her face. She looked so flustered. He made a mental note to give Diego a verbal beating later on. His constant joking around was getting annoying.
Diego then passed them again, saying bye. Work called by the sounds of it.
Marco took Emma's hand and walked out into the kitchen. "Just the three of us then? He said to his mother who was already putting food on the table. Just as he did so the door opened and Carmen walked in, smiling and saying hi to Emma. "Food smells goooood." she commented as she sat down
"Four then," Marco said correcting himself as he picked up the last dish of food and placed it on the table as everyone else sat down and started to help themselves.

Emma Rae Summers Never say never. It might be the last thing you do. Emma swallowed hard when Marco grabbed her arm. She bit down on her lip and nodded quickly. Before she could get a word out, Diego was out by them and making some corny joke.
She just glared at him as he walked away. But he was soon gone into the kitchen again. She did not want him here, she wanted him gone gone gone.
Marco turned to her and smiled, moving her hair from her face. "Yeah, just kinda hard is all.." She sighed again before being led towards the kitchen, only to be cut off by Diego who was waving his goodbyes.
She raised an eyebrow. Leaving so soon? What a shame. Ha. Not.
Emma took her seat in her normal spot and shrugged, "Guess so-" But then Carmen blew into the room and plopped down by Emma, Marco across from the blonde and his mom next to him.
Emma took a small bite, but her appetite was beyond gone. She picked around at her food a bit, but was shaken to attention by Carmen, who had kicked her.
"Whats your deal?" Emma made an attempt at a smile. "Just sleepy. Its been a long day." She looked over at Marco, feeling the guilty ache in the pit of her stomach.

.:Marco Enrique Martin:. Quiero mostrarla que ella no necesita para tener miedo. Carmen cocked an eyebrow and started on the rice. "I don't believe you for a second chica." she said, grinning. "If it's my brother I'll beat him for you." she joked quietly, out of earshot of Marco.
Dinner seemed to be going by quickly for Marco. Then again, he could probably eat for the whole of the US if he tried.
Of course, it wasn't a quiet dinner. It never was. Half way through his uncle and baby cousin had come in and added themselves to the table, then his baby cousin attempted to try and get out of eating and sitting on Emma's lap, then Carmen's boyfriend called, then his granma called to ask if he could come over later and fix his granpa's car because he was far too stubborn to ask, and just.. well, the usual chaotic dinner.
Eventually, he was done and noticed Emma was too. He checked the time on his watch and frowned slightly. Her parents usually expected her home not long after dark, and it was nearing 7. He nudged her lightly under the table, "What time do they want you back?" he asked, amidst all the chatter and general noise.

Emma Rae Summers Never say never. It might be the last thing you do. Emma forced a small laugh. "No no, its not Marco." She picked around at her food, making sure to look as though she enjoyed it.
Maria and Marco always made the best food, always. So, it wasn't that the food was disgusting, by any means. She just had lost her entire appetite.
Eventually, the entire table was filled with relatives. She loved this. Uncles and cousins came from all around the neighborhood, gathering together to eat and chat about whatever. It was a true, genuine family. They all loved each other, despite any drama that exploded between them.
They always had each others backs. always.
"Uhh, s**t. I think around seven." She looked up at the clock on the wall and her eyes wideded. They had always been so good about keeping their relationship underwraps! She was always back on time and everything..
Emma jumped up from the table and instantly eyes turned to her. "Uhh, lo siento mi familia." That was about as far as she had gotten with learning spanish. "Thank you Maria, for the lovely dinner..again." She leaned over and kissed her on the cheek. "Sorry to rush out."

.:Marco Enrique Martin:. Quiero mostrarla que ella no necesita para tener miedo. Marco smirked as his girlfriend spoke spanish to the table, as she got up, before giving his mom a kiss on the cheek and waiting for him to move too.
"I'll walk you out." he said, giving a smile, receiving the knowing looks from his family members that all said 'she's a keeper'. Carmen mouthed a goodbye to Emma, and brought her hand up to her ear in the shape of a phone. She knew something was up, and if Emma wanted to talk, she was designated girl talk.
Shuffling out of the crowded dining area Marco walked with her to the front door, opened it then followed her out to her car. He leant on the side of her car, and held her hand loosely in his, playing with her fingers lightly. "You want company on the drive back? I don't mind walking back. I could probably use a good walk." he said grinning and patting his stomach.
