Annah headed for the bedroom. But as soon as she laid down, and of course got comfortable, her stomach starting hurting.
Although, it wasn't surprising. It seemed that for the passed few weeks every morning around eleven she'd throw up. Even if she hadn't eaten anything. When she looked up some information about the pills she used to take, throwing up was one of the symptoms of 'withdrawl'. So, she just assumed that it was part of this. Along with gaining weight.
But this was getting a little extreme. Every single morning, for this long? Wouldn't the whole withdrawl process be done by now? Brandon wasn't sick over getting off his medications. So, why was she? Or maybe he was... she wasn't really around often enough to know.
After throwing up, brushing her teeth, and showering she fell into bed for some much-needed rest. But it was a fitfull nap and she wasn't really relaxed. Annah cleaned up the apartment, which wasn't hard. There wasn't much time to make a mess, or much stuff to make a mess with. Nothing was on T.V. and she was starving. But they rarely ate at home, so there wasn't much that looked good.
And by this time it was afternoon and she was craving Chinese. That was what the tips were for.. right? They could spare a few bucks for a nice late lunch..
Annah found a pair of jeans, that weren't so tight. She figured she should probably start her period soon, but nothing. She was just bloated. Which was so weird, but her body never really did regulate. So you never knew anyway. Between drugs and medicine.
Of course, every problem she had went back to her troubled past. And really, it did though. It wasn't all just excuses.
But after she looked presentable, in a little bit of makeup, her hair hanging at her shoulders, and she was in a tighter T-shirt with her jeans and one of Brandons jackets thrown over it all, she was walking down the stairs of the complex and heading towards the garage nearby.
She had never visited Brandon at work, but she hoped it wouldn't be a huge hassle or anything. Typically, she was asleep at this time and gone by the time he got home, which would be a few hours.
Annah looked around and found a guy who's nametag read 'Len'. She smiled at the greasy man. "Is Brandon around?" Oh the irony. [ hahaha i know right! uh ohhhh.. here it gooooes... ]

t h e r a n d o m l o n e rBrandon jolted his head upright slightly, hitting the bottom of the car that he was currently under. The sudden twitch was due to the sound of an unusually soft voice that had just entered the garage.
"Brandon eh?" Len repeated, raising his bushy brows and smirking. Well. Any suspicions of Brandon being gay had just been destroyed. Glancing over at Bobby he smiled and wiped his hands on a cloth that he had in his pocket. "Sure darlin' over there." he said, pointing over to a pair of legs sticking out from underneath a lifted car.
Hearing footsteps coming towards him and seeing a pair of familiar looking sneaks, Brandon wheeled out from underneath the car and looked up at Annah with a surprised smile. "... Hi."

Annah rolled her eyes slightly at the 'darlin' comment. She hadn't really ever been around the garage, but a few guys from the Bar worked here. Or in places like it.
She headed over to where they pointed and she thanked them before heading over to Brandons a**. She tapped him on the butt before kissing his cheek. "I missed you." She was feeling better, but she was still craving chinese like crazy. And she was starving.
"Think you can sneak away for a bit? I'm starved." Annah looked back over at the two guys she had met, or that had talked to her. "They won't mind will they?"

t h e r a n d o m l o n e rBrandon got up off the board and put his arm around her waist, giving her a light kiss to her forehead when she said she missed him. He looked around the fairly empty garage, then back at his two coworkers, who were both grinning madly at him.
"Sure." he said simply, looking at her and smiling. "I think they can manage for now."
He walked over to the sink in the corner and rinsed off his grubby hands quickly before walking back towards Annah. "Where do you wanna go?"

Annah broke out in a huge smile. "Great," She turned back to Brandon but he was already walking away to wash up.
"Where do I wanna go? Hmm, oh I dunno." She shrugged a bit before taking one of his calloused hands in her much-softer ones. "I'm thinking chinese. I've been craving it like crazy all morning."
She started to pull him away from the garage, but managed to yell back to the guys in there, that had been smiling like fools. "I'll have him back soon!" As soon as they were out of view she pulled him into a kiss before continuing to walk towards the chinese restaurant.

t h e r a n d o m l o n e rBrandon held her hand and let her lead the way, pretty much dragging him out of work. He gave a small smile to the guys as they watched them go, laughing and giving him the thumbs up as Annah promised him back soon.
Appreciating the kidnapping from work the collection of kisses he was starting to build up from her today, his mood was improving considerably.
And now that he thought about it, Chinese food sounded good.
The said restaurant turned up in front of them and at that point, Brandon noted his grubby clothes, silently wishing that he had made more of an effort to look good today.
The walked in, and were quickly ushered down to a table and given menus to ponder over. Brandon looked down at the menu on the table in front of him then looked across at Annah, smiling a little as he watched he trying to pick out what she wanted.
"What're you gonna have?" he asked, feeling in his pocket for his wallet, double checking he had it here and that it wasn't sitting on a table in the garage.

Annah sat across from Brandon when they were ushered to their table. She instantly unfolded the menu in the darkened resteraunt and smiled down at all the food that popped out infront of her.
She licked her lips before looking up at Brandon, who was talking to her. "I'm thinking orange chicken, some crab rangoon, some fried rice, and maybe lo mein." Annah hadn't even realized how much food that was until after she said it.
Well, she was starving. And craving everything that had just ran out of her mouth. Yeah, that was what she wanted. All of that and a big coke.
"What about you babe?" She bit down on her bottom lip, still not sure of how one minute she was throwing up and the next she wanted to eat everything in sight...

 t h e r a n d o m l o n e rBrandon couldn't help but grin at her choice. Or rather, choices. Though in fairness, all good ones.
"Uhh. Probably some won tun soup and fried rice." Realising how little that was compared to hers, he quickly added, "I don't want to go back to work with a heavy belly." he said smirking and patting his stomach.
As if on cue, the waiter walked over, and quickly and efficiently took their food and drink orders, and was gone again.
Brandon looked over at Annah and touched his finger over her hand lightly on top of the table. "..How are you?" he asked with a small smile. It might have seemed an odd question, but he couldn't remember the last time he had asked her it.

Annah made a face when he replied to her. "Oh," But he tacked on that he didn't want to go back to work all full and stuff.
Made sense really.. But she still felt like a pig. Although, when didn't she? Brandon never seemed to eat as much as she did. But it wasn't like they ever had a meal together anymore..
The waitor was soon gone again and Brandon held his hand over her own. "I've been better actually.." She sighed. "Now that I think about it. I've been really sick every morning and I'm gaining weight." But she ate all the time and none of it was very healthy by any means.
"I dunno.." She sighed. "How are you?" She looked back up at him, her head still swarming with thoughts.

t h e r a n d o m l o n e rBrandon was slightly worried at what she said. Not the gaining weight part, he didn't care about that, but the whole throwing up thing. If it was her being off her medication, surely her body would've gotten used to it by now..
"Do you you want me to take you to see a doctor?" he asked, concern obvious on his face.
The waiter quickly made another appearance to give them their drinks and then promptly left them again. "I'm fine." he said, picking up his glass of water and taking a sip. No surprises there. Fine as usual.
"A little tired. But good." he smiled a little. "I'm ...happy, right now." he said, which said a lot. Especially when considering, that not long over a month or two ago, they were both in an institution for having tried to off themselves.

Annah shook her head. "I don't like doctors.." She muttered before taking a sip of her drink, not bothering to look up at the waitor, who said nothing again.
"Thats good," She smiled back at him. "I'm just ... Its weird though ya know? Feeling happy?" She laughed lightly. "Its not bad here. Small, cramped, and not the best work ever. But its a job and a home and we have each other.. mostly." She shrugged a bit.
"I wish we could be together more though.." Annah sighed, her mind still hooked on the doctor thing. It was probably a good idea. But she didn't want to. She hated doctors. Doctors were the reason she ended up in Aspen.
Actually drugs were. But still. She was persistent and stubborn and the doctor was not her place. Nope.

t h e r a n d o m l o n e rBrandon tapped his free hand on the table lightly as she said she didn't like doctors. She wasn't the only one, so he couldn't exactly argue with her on that one.
He smiled when she laughed a little then watched as she sighed. It was true. It was crazy how little they actually saw each other. "Me too." he said quietly.
"When I've got enough saved up maybe we could move," he started, taking another quick sip from his drink. "Get like, a nicer place. And maybe you woudn't have to work as much. Or like, at all." He cleared his throat. Not knowing where the sudden idealism came from, he was one to daydream sure, but never one to voice it. Before he could start over thinking, their food was brought over.
Taking his hand back, he attempted a little smile at the waiter and looked down at his soup. He could do with an appetite like Annah's right now. He didn't seem to have one, he had lost it since he was admitted to the institute.
The joys of Aspens.

Annah smiled brightly when he spoke again, taking a drink. Brandon never really seemed to be dreamy. Though, she'd often caught him daydreaming. It was just not normal for him to be vocal about his dreaming.
"Babe, that sounds perfect." Normally, Annah would be saying how silly that sounded. But right now, it did sound very good. She wished it were only that simple.. Their food arrived and hers took up pretty much the whole table. "Thank you," The guy was already walking off. "He's not very.. social." She nudged Brandon with her foot. "Kinda remindes me of someone."

 t h e r a n d o m l o n e rBrandon looked up when she nudged his leg and smiled a little.
He knew that he was without a doubt the quietest person Annah had ever met in her life. She reminded him enough in the first couple of weeks of getting to know each other. But what was good about it was that she didn't seem to mind it. Maybe she found it refreshing after having lived a fairly loud life so far, to have met someone the complete opposite.
Living and being with Annah was different and took a while for him to get used to their dynamic.
From going to being someone that no one talked to or even felt the need to talk to, to becoming someone's other half (never mind that someone being the complete opposite of him) who wanted to know everything about him, was a change, but one that was good for him.
"Y'know, this morning at work, the guys asked about you." he mentioned as they both started on their food. "Ironic that you showed up."
"I think they thought I was making you up before." he said with a small grin. He wondered what Annah's girlfriends were like, he knew they probably knew about him, since girls pretty much told each other everything.
He checked his watch as he finished his soup and took a drink, he still had another three hours left of his shift. "What time do you start tonight?"

Annah laughed lightly. Obviously, Brandon was quiet. She wondered if the guys and him ever sat around, drinking a beer, and talked about chicks. The other two seemed like the type, but Brandon never said he got along with the guys. Though, he never said he didn't either. So, Annah assumed all was at least okay.
"Oh?" She smiled brightly. "Well, guess I showed them huh?" She dug into her chicken first, dipping it into her rice as well. "The girls ask about you a lot." She shrugged. "They're always bugging me to bring you along.. when we go out after work sometimes... but you're always already working..."
She sighed. Annah looked up from her mostly finished food, or at least all picked at, just in time to see him checking his watch. Her face fell a bit, but not much. At least they had spent around thirty five minutes together today. "I have to go in early.. around six." Her shift usually didn't start up until eight. But one of the girls was pregnant so it was harder for her to get into work sometimes.
Especially since the kid was due soon and she was a single mom-to-be. "Guess you need to be getting back, huh?"
