Tansy laughed softly and smiled. "Having a little sister isn't all fun and games you know. It takes a lot of hard work to raise them up right." She sighed and looked to Gidget. "Tell you what." She laughed once more. "We'll find a nice pink colored wig. And then we can match." She nodded her head. "how does that sound?"

While the girls talked, Ako wandered over the balcony door and walked out. He pulled his iPod and headphones out of a cargo pocket on his pants and leaned against the balcony rail as he started the music. He looked down at the streets and cars below, thinking back at how he used to be terrified of heights. Now he adored them, always wanting to be at the highest point he could find, just to see the view. His wild train of thought also went to Tansy and Annie, and how he was starting to feel towards them. Maybe it was just being in the same living area, but he definitely thought he was like them as more than just friends. This lead to thoughts of some psychological syndrome he'd heard of somewhere, how people started to fall in love with people they'd normally hate, just because they had been living together for a long time.

Annie nodded, "I suppose you are right about having a little sister being a lot of hard work. And I don't know if Dad could have handled having another girl to raise."
She looked towards the balcony door- still open where Ako had stepped out. Annie smiled slightly knowing that she isn't the only one to have trouble adjusting to living with so many other people. She felt though, that Ako had a harder time being a part of a group than she felt at times. "Hey, when are we heading out for dinner? I'm absolutely famished."

Gidget swings her feet as Annie works on her hair. A clearly audible gurgling sound comes from her stomach. She giggles and blushes, "I hope it's soon. I got so busy working I forgot to eat. Oh, where are we gonna go! Someplace fancy I hope. I've never had more than enough money to eat at Denny's. Maybe something exotic? What do you guys think?"

{(OOC Sorry i've been gone guys. sweatdrop )}
Garret pocketed tha cash. "Yea, exotic sounds nice." He said with a smile at Gidget, fingering the cash in his pocket. Garret was the kind of guy who'd try something different atleast twice. Atleast that's what he learned from the two months he's known himself. He doesnt know what he likes, but is willing to try anything, just to find a bit of himself hidden inside. It doesnt count just for food, but for life. "As long as it's not Thai. I don't even want to go into what that did to me." garret made a fake gagging sound while using his finger to simulate gagging himself. "No thanks. I'm in the mood for Chinese.."

Annie smiled largely at Garret's suggestion, "Chinese sounds like a great idea. There weren't any Chinese places back home- besides the Chinese buffet that was an hour away in the next town. Anyone have any favorite places to suggest here?"

Tansy looked at them and shrugged. "No idea. I never really had money to eat anywhere except from a dollar menu." She laughed softly and brushed her hair back behind her ear. She blinked and looked over to Ako. She walked over to him and placed her hand on his shoulder. "hey..." She said softly. "You okay?"

Ako was startled by the hand on his shoulder, and smiled when he saw it was Tansy. He removed one of the earpieces just in time to hear her question. "Yeah, I'm fine, just thinking. Y'all were talking about hair, so I decided I would leave you alone. Has anyone decided where we're going to eat?"

The dark man steps out of the elevator on the penthouse floor. The lights lights seem to dance around his face, keeping his eyes hidden within a shadow. Charles Ray had bought this property years ago. There was something in the back of his mind that told him it would pay off later. Now, enlightened by events in the recent months, he is excited to see the fruits of his labor pay off.
The girl, the one that came back from the dead, lives here. His sources had also told him of a handful of other individuals, who coincidentaly had attended her funeral, were also living here with her. He isn't yet aware of what gifts they possessed, but that makes little difference to him. His interest is in the "angel."
He strides up to the entryway of the apartment and knocks on the door firmly. His features soften to that of a more pleasant person, a small and hospitable smile crossing his lips.

"Chinese. I think." She laughed softly, and then jumped when she heard a knock on the door. She slipped on Annie's coat and tugged it around her to help hide her wings. "Who would be knocking?" She looked worried and confused, but moved to the door. She looked through the eye hole. "Well, he doesn't look like he works here." She looked back at the others and shrugged before she opened the door slightly. "Hello." She said calmly.

Annie crossed her arms and narrowed her eyes. She didn't like strangers and she was hungry. Chinese sounded so good too. Hopefully this wouldn't take long.

Charles smiles pleasantly at Tansy, his face being the type where everything on his face smiles when his lips do. He can barely contain his excitment. He recognizes her from the photos his people took. This is the one, the woman who cheated death. He speaks in a warm and friendly tone, "Good evening Miss, how're you today? My name is Charles Ray, and I'd like to offer you the opprotunity of a lifetime."

Annie paled some seeing the man, his aura was black, wicked, evil... he almost stank of bad intentions. She crossed the room, grabbed Tansy's arm and pushed her back slightly, "Charles Ray, as the man who owns half the town?"
Her southern accent got more pronounced as she got more agitated, "What do you want with us?"

Gidget gasps audibly and shoots out of her chair. She runs up beside Tansy and squeels while bouncing up and down, "Omigod omigod omigod. You're THE Charles Ray! The man that pioneered the drive to bolster studies on nano-technology!"

Charles can feel the annoyance build up inside of him. He hates kids. He especially hates kids that have an overabundance of energy and insist on making animalistic noises when they become excited. His exterior appearance remains cool in spite of the growing heat within. He maintains his smile and answers both of the ladies, "Yes I own half of this city, and I have driven the research of nano-tech. But those are nothing compared to my more humanitarian efforts." He puts his hands up at the defensiveness in Annie's tone. He makes a mental note to watch out for her, she could be the most likely one to disrupt his plans.
"Please do not be intimidated by my status. I'm simply a man who wants to make this world a much better place to live. I believe I can make an enourmous stride toward that goal very quickly with your help, Miss Hinzard."
