Cadi blinked as she watched the Pidgy fall down looking woosy. "Wow.. Splash.. good job. Come back buddy.. Lets see if we can catch Pidgy. Maybe she'll join us?" Cadi tossed a pokeball at the wild lvl 4 Pidgy. She stared on at her thrown pokeball watching it jump, move and twitch. "...Come'on... Come'on..."  After a few seconds the ball stopped twitching and Cadi's first wild pokemon had been caught. She grinned and raced towards the ball picking it up and putting it in her pack. "I'll have to think of a special name for you. ...No wait, I know. I'll just call you, "Sky!" Cadi caught the lvl 4 female Pidgy and nicknamed it "Sky"

Cadi safely put Pidgey inside her pokeball and away and into her backpack. "Lets let Sky rest and calm down some before we take her back out okay Splash?" Speaking to her squirtle aware he couldn't really speak english but she knew it was always good to talk to your pokemon. At least that is what her parents taught her.
After packing Pidgey away safely she threw her pack over her shoulder and set back out with Splash towards the next town.

It wasn't long till they could see the next town. Maybe an hour or so.. but just as they where rounding the last corner in the tall grass another wild Pidgey lvl 3 appeared.  "Splash, lets get this over with we're almost in the next town and sky needs to rest! Squirtle go!"

Cadi Sent out Lvl 5 Squirtle.
"Ok Splash, Use Tackle!"
Squirtle used tackle, It was a critical hit.
The lvl 3 Pidgy fainted.
"Good job. Lets get going before he wakes up."
Cadi and Squirtle leave the fainted Pidgey in the grass and head into town.
Squirtle grew to lvl 6! (14/14 )

After having rested her pokemon at the towns pokecenter Cadi headed back into the tall grass to train her pokemon since the Gym leader didn't seem to be in. "..besides.. she thought to herself, I doubt we could win yet. Splash still has a lot of training to do before I think we'd be ready. And It would be a good idea to try and get Sky to like me.. "

No sooner did she step back into the grass then another wild lvl 4 Rattata jumped out at her.  "Yikes! Squirtle go!" Knowing that the gym leader she'd soon fight was weak against water pokemon it may be best to train Splash first. "Squirtle use Tackle!"

Squirtle jumped out from his pokeball and used tackle.
The Rattata wobbled around woosy from the fast moves of Squirtle and fell over.
"Good job Splash, come back!"
Cadi threw a pokeball at the Rattatta.

Cadi walked a bit longer mostly just walking in circles looking for her next battle to train Splash on. It wasn't long before they found it.
a Wild lvl 4 Pidgey flew out and attacked.
"Squirtle your on! Use Tackle that works best!"

Squirtle tackled the wild Pidgey.
The Wild Pidgey fainted, Squirtle won!
Squirtle grew to lvl 7! HP 16/16

Just as Cadi turned around and took a single step backwards another wild Rattata lvl 3, burst out at her.
"Yikes, I guess this area is loaded with pokemon!"

Squirtle jumped at the Rattata and used Tackle.
Squirtle's attack wasn't very effective. He seemed tired and the Wild Rattata Won!
"Oh no, Squirtle come back!" Cadi called squirtle back into his pokeball and ran away quickly to the nearby pokecenter.

Cadi raced back into the tall grass to stirr up more wild pokemon. "come out, come out wherever you are." My team is healed and ready to battle!
A Wild lvl 3 Rattata appeared.
"I wonder if you are the same Rattata that just beat up Splash.."
.."no time to think.. Squirtle go!, Use Tackle!"
