There were also people that believed if they commited mass suicide on a certain day, their spirits would be lifted to a spaceship that was inside a meteor that was passing by earth several years ago.
No seriously, look it up. It actually happened.
It's kinda funny what sorts of silly things people will believe.

My mom found a Smallville 2006 calendar for me and there's a studio still of Erica and Tom with the caption: Future husband and wife duo Lois and Clark...

Don't try and use logic with Chloe... it doesn't work. Trust me, I've tried.

Original_Sin Don't try and use logic with Chloe... it doesn't work. Trust me, I've tried. Rejoice the day she finds her own copy of the calendar which of course will be inevitable for the die-hard Smallville obsessor. I hope you're the kind of girl who flips through the whole thing as soon as you get it, Chloe.

Then why bother buying it, even if it is official? You could always just get the pretty pictures online instead of paying almost $15 for something you won't even believe... I have to admit, I was pretty surprised that they so obviously confirmed something so big.

It doens't confirm anything, everyone knows Lois and Clark will end up together, but that doesn't mean the Lois in the Show is the Lois he ends up with. It wasn' confirming much of anything except of what people want to believe. Its a calander. It doesn't control what is going on in smallville. Al Gough and Miles Miller did not create the Calander, WB did. although WB owns right to smallville, no one knows what is going to happen in smallville except gough an Miller.

As I said, don't try to use logic.
Ah hell, I'll try once more.
Clark doesn't love Chloe. He has no feelings for her. He has stated this many, many times. Whenever Clark talks about Lois in that manner, he always has a "well..." type of tone in his voice and look on his face, meaning he's not completely ruling it out.
Chloe has a heriditery mental illness, and she will die before the end of Smallville. That's almost a fact.
Lois Lane never slept with Jimmy Olsen. That's a definate fact.
Clark and Lois were never, in any form of Superman, childhood friends. Another fact.
The producers of this show MUST follow a basic code. DC would not just hand over all creative control of the Superman Mythos to 2 people without putting boundries on where they can and cannot go. This Beth, is a fact. Changing something like who Lois Lane even is goes against the Mythos. DC wouldn't allow it.
I'd keep going, but is there really any point? I suppose I could just laugh a little extra bit when Chloe finally dies lol

Clark and Chloe were not childhood friends they met when they were teenagers, if you recall Clark said Chloe did not move there until 8th grade.
Clark and Lois also don't meet until they are working at the Daily Planet so technically they already ruined that whole schindig
ok, well i think you should ues some logic yourself i can't believe you have not firgured it out yet:
I'm only waiting until the day actually happens when Chloe dies. No one is going to tell me what i and am not going to believe and right now i find my own pride in believing this. you may believe anything you want but you don't need to waste your breathe trying to convince me otherwise. I already have a feeling she is going to die. But hey ive always had that feeling. this theory is just help my insticts feel better by trying to convince myself of this sorrow. That is why i have been trying to stop you from complaining about all the real facts. although i had already known those i have been trying to convince myself that it is not going to happen. Until season 4 i was totally convinced that CHloe was going to become Lois. But i started to loose my doubt more in season 5, because in season 4 hey didn't make lois seem like the real lois we know. I really didn't want to admit my doubts before because everyone knew i was you know the huge believer in Chlois and stuff, i amjust in denial with myself about seeing my favorite character leave. I was trying to leave out the obvious from myself and still give myself hope. But i have known since seasn 4 that that is not going to happen. Do you understand my stubborness now?

You know, Chloe, I really really like your theory. I think it's really great. (although the point about the letters in Chloe's name making up parts of Lois's name was kind of a stretch). The thing is, i think it's too good. as in, the writers of smallville could take their own tips from it. unfortunately, i think they may be less smart than we think they are. they do tend to hold on to a few lame ideas or not give good reasons for things to end up the way they do. i can really see them letting Chloe die before Smallville finally ends. cry but i think that, if they do, the show will have a lot of work to do to keep it's ratings up because, honestly, we can't keep watching clark and lana fight about the same emptiness between them until the show ends. (obviously, the writers will move on from this at some point, but for now, they're milking it for all it's worth). if chloe does die tho, i think lois will definately be the one to bring the show back up to it's "good entertainment" status.
