Uhhhmmm... I'm playing Xenogears right now. I'll try and see if anything like that happens.
Ok, my question: I'm out in the middle of The Deep Black Evil Forest. Not the world map, but a seperate "this part is more important so you must play through it" part. I'm not near a save point, but GOD am I hurting! So... why is it, while I'm out in the wilderness anyways, can't I use a tent??
And (in the spirit of an earlier question) how could a dinky tent possibly help me not die from poison/other status ailments/horrible blood loss, anyways? I mean, maybe there were doctors at the inn that worked wonders, sure. But a tent? Did tents sometimes HURT you if used in FFXI (which was fun to use on enemies, by the way)?

Well, the speacial area is always in a set time, while the world is really days of traveling, the tent is set ing campwhere you'll have times to heal your wounds and apply antidotes.

Wow, that makes a lot more sense, actually... It's nice having smart people around! But it still feels as though nighttime in a tent seems like 15 seconds, too. I know it's probably just a representation of the passage of time, but still.

NewGenious What makes Burnout addicting with its crashing cars...or have I answered my ow question. I watched my brother play it when he got it for his birthday... All he was doing was going through a track and bumping and crashing into other cars in order to gain boost and money, but MAN was that fun to watch! It's a game that's ABOUT BLOWING STUFF UP! How cool is that?

I kinda wondered why in most rpg's the hero always starts out sleeping...??? Also why near the final battle there is always like one merchant that has the best stuff???
"even though you're trying to save the world I'm still gonna charge you for the equipment cause I'm a greedy little s**t."

They sleep because it's hard to write a beginning and the merchant thinks, "Hey, the world probably going to end soon, I might as well charge the hell out of the next guy, this kids not going to save the world, he's just going to die." and when they actually save the world the run of reliezing they just got a ton of gold off you.
