Rory had a slightly dazed look in his colorless eyes. "Huh?" He looked down at her. "Sorry fae what?"

Lee kicked her feet a bit, stalling before answering. "I... I prolly embarrassed you, right? And I think... I just made things worse." She let her face fall into her teddy bear to hide her blushing cheeks. "And for kissing you in front of everyone..."

"Might've made things better," Rory said, ruffling her hair. "Shows people tha' there are them out there tha' donnae care about me eyes." He smiled at her, then tilted her chin up and kissed her gently. "You shouldnae feel tha' you cannae show me affection."

Lee's blush remained as she was kissed, and while she was relieved he didn't mind, she herself was still not a fan of such acts in public. "S-so was there anything else you wanna do before you go to work?" He'd already won her a prize, already scared her to death on the ferris wheel... heck, she'd already gone through a roller coaster of emotions today.

"We can gae hae lunch," Rory suggested, looking off into the crowd as if seeing someone or something in the distance. He frowned briefly then looked down at Lee, expression softening. "You want me t' make somethin' or do you wanna get somethin' from a vendor?"

Tilting her head as she noticed his expression, Lee looked in the same direction, though seeing nothing of significance. Now she was curious... "We can get something from a vendor. Dun wanna make you work too hard." Lee brushed the hair out of her face before looking toward the crowd again. It wasn't that she didn't want more of Rory's cooking, she just wanted to find what, if anything, Rory had seen.

"Alreet," Rory answered, taking her hand to lead her to the vendors. "We got a pretty good hamburger stand here, unless you're in th' mood fae turkey legs." He had no idea Lee had notice he'd seen something and wasn't about to bring it up unless she did.

Turkey legs would get her face messy and make for awkward kissing. "Hamburgers are good." As they walked through the crowd, Lee didn't see anything that would cause Rory to frown. Was it an ex girlfriend or something? Or maybe his family was mingling around and he was embarrassed of them? Her imagination only got her more curious. Fidgeting a bit with her teddy bear's ears, she looked to the ground as she walked until finally peeping, "Why'd you make that face earlier?"

"Hamburgers it is, then," Rory chuckled. Actually, he preferred them over turkey legs, too. He looked down at her at her other question. "What face?"

"Ya know... you frowned." She imitated the face without realizing it. "When you were looking over here..." He wasn't playing dumb, was he?

"Ohhh," Rory replied, nodding. "Thought I saw somethin', but it wis just a weird shadow." He looked away, trying to locate the hamburger vendor. There was a slight look of worry in his eyes and the hand holding Lee's trembled slightly.

"Oh." She was both relieved and disappointed. That made for a much less juicy story, but at least Rory wouldn't have to face any humiliation. She spotted the hamburger vendor and she gestured toward it. "Over there, right?" She hadn't even noticed his eyes or the slight tremble in his grip, perhaps because of the distractions from the crowd around them.

"O-oh..." She looked back as she was lead away, not seeing why it mattered. A hamburger was a hamburger. Noticing his odd behavior, Lee stopped walking, pulling her hand away to get his attention and giving him a questioning look. "Rory, are you okay? You're acting weird..."

"I'm fine. I just thought I saw somethin'," Rory said, biting his lip. He smiled a bit, though his eyes looked worried. "Come on, love. W' should get o'er there afore they're all gone."
