Ellie smiled at Rissa. "I slept great! How bout you?" She then absently started putting some toast and eggs and some sausage on her plate. At the smell of sausage, Jacques climbed up onto the table and took a piece of her plate in one hand and started nibbling on it.

She smiles back at Alcra. "He is a lovely cat. Sometimes he can be a real pig, though." She pulls him away from the table once again. "Here, Aelurus, have this piece of bacon and leave the toast alone!" She turns to Ellie. "I slept just fine, thank you. I'm still slightly worried about our Quidditch team for the first game...Stupid Lythandas.. I can't wait to turn him into a fish." She grinned wickedly.

Hearing Nerissa mention the Quiddich game, Alcra asks "You're on the team as well? What position?"

Ellie smiled at Rissa. "You guys will do fine. Plus, it's only the first game." She suddenly swatted Jacques' paw. "That's my sausage, go get your own." He then turned with a pouty look on his face and crawled over to the plate of sausage in the middle of the table and grabbed one, did a sort-a sit and started munching on it.

"I wanted to play Beater, that was my position back at Durmstrang, but the only position available was Chaser, so that's what I got. I don't mind though, at least I get to play" She turns to Ellie "It may only be the first game, but by the looks of the teams, we'll be up against Gryffindor. We can't lose to those morons!" She sighed and continued eating her breakfast.

"Here, Aelurus." Nerissa pushes her plate away, offering it to the cat. She then pours herself a glass of milk, and looks at it for a moment, contemplating something.
"Say, Ellie, do you think the professors would be angry with me if I turned this into chocolate milk?"

"Well they have this strict no spells policy.. I don't want to ruin my chance at being a prefect.." She waves her wand over the glass of milk, but nothing happens. "Aw.. not again.." She taps on the rim of the glass twice, and then once again waves her wand over the top. This time, it turns chocolate. "Much better."

She looked at Rissa curiously. "Oh, yeah. Forgot 'bout the spell policy....thingy." She shrugged and stuck her last link sausage in her mouth. She picked up Jacques off the table and put him on her shoulder. He crawled down into her hood and popped his head back up to watch over her shoulder.

"Are you done eating?" She looked a bit shaken, and stared at her glass of chocolate milk as though she were trying to dissect it with her eyes. After a few moments, she glared at it once more, sighed, and turned her attention to Aelurus, who had finished off the remainders of her breakfast and was meowing loudly and pawing at her hands. "Yes darling, we'll go in a minute," She assured him, scratching him lightly behind the ears. [[grabbed your booty again]]

"Wha? Oh. Its nothing important.. I'm going to go to the library now!" Nerissa grabs Aelurus and quickly leaves the Great Hall, heading towards the library and silently cursing herself.
"Aaaaugh I'm such an idiot" She thinks as she exits the hall.

"umm...ok.." She said as her friend sped out of the hall. Thinking to herself..."there is deffenately something wrong." She got up and walked out into the hall, walked up the stairs and tried remember the way to the library. "Jacques, do you remember?" Jacques made a face, crawled down her arm waiting to be put down. She set him on the floor and he rounded the corner. She straighted up and followed him.
