The SUV pulled up to Jarred's building, and aside from the traditional eye-raise from the clerk, they got up to his condo easily. Rex bounded up, sniffing everyone, just in general cheery at new faces.

Kat smiled, greeting the dog with a scratch behind the ear. She glanced up from Rex afterwards, her gaze flowing over the condo. "Not bad, not bad at all. What is it you do, Jarred?" She found it almost strange having to ask it, being so used to kissing a guy and pulling what information she needed.

"I'm independently wealthy." He said, walking to the kitchen. "I have food and drinks, we can all stay here and figure out what to do next. It's a little more secure than the last place."

Roxanna walked towards the kitchen, having not eaten for most of the day. "Do you have extra rooms, Jarred, or will we need to sleep on the floor?"

Eulalia Danae Roxanna walked towards the kitchen, having not eaten for most of the day. "Do you have extra rooms, Jarred, or will we need to sleep on the floor?" "I've got a guest room and a pile of couches." Jarred shrugged, motioning to the room. Rex bounded onto his couch, laying across it, staring at them all as if to tell them they got all the couches but.

Roxanna nodded, and smiled as she noted Rex's claim to his couch. "I suppose I can take the smaller couch, being the smallest."

Ruby St.Claire Kat let out a chuckle as everyone volunteered for couches. "Point me to a room, Jarred, and I'll brave one of the beds. I hate saying no to comfort." Jarred nodded, leading her to the guest room, not out of any realistic sense of treating her to a better or worse room than Roxanna, but he figured Roxanna wasn't used to even as limited as his place was, and the lest shock the better all around. He had no problem on a couch.

Rook waited patiently as the others took their places, keeping a close eye on Kat, especially, before he laid down, crossing his hands over his chest and closing his eeyes.
