I find it slightly disagreeable, but I assume they're using the word in the slang term, meaning clumsy, inept or nervous - as in "spaz out". xp stressed

i noticed that and was a little perturbed also Geo, but these are Americans so who are we to judge.. confused
It does seem a little inappropriate though neutral It's a term that's been frowned on over here for years after all.

I remember Tiger Woods saying a couple of months ago that he played like a "spaz" in a certain tournament and he got into trouble from mental health charities in Britain...he didnt seem to understand what all the fuss was about really... confused

It's interesting how words are used in different ways over time, isn't it? One change I've only recently become aware of is "gay", which originally meant (and still does mean) merry, lively, etc., but nowadays is known more as the accepted term for homosexual. The new usage apparently is to say "gay" to mean "lame" or "naff", and this has led to complaints from gay rights organisations.

yes! i'm guilty of using it in that way i have to say.
'That's so gay!' and so on on occasion, i find it MOST amusing that the gay community is up in arms about it though.
Bet that is simply because they hate to think that something that is anything less than stylish and trendy could be associated with them in any way rofl

So i've just spent the last 3 hours wondering why i can't get online...(1 hour of this was spent scratching me head before realising i hadnt actually plugged the line into the wall redface )
anyway it turns out me wireless router has gone a bit haywire...it has probably overheated actually since it never gets turned off...i used to keep it atop our spare freezer in the front room to try and keep it cool but to no avail and tonight it just said 'no more!'
so for the first time in years i'm connected to the internet with a physical wire...and i must say it does seem a tiny bit quicker too... 3nodding
