Ivy smiled. "I suppose," she said. "I wouldn't know; I haven't been there for any." Which is a good thing, she added to herself. Her power kept her away from a lot of things, which often disappointed her. But she could live with that, as long as she was able to not use her power.

I wonder what sort of great power this girl has. By the way they talk it must be something to do with killing. Except that she has to stay away from it... Sora thought to the kit
Who of course nodded in agreement. I think it is Bob from Solstice. I never met him, but it just seems all too familiar somehow. Comeon... Let's head back to the city. They'll be there eventually anyways. Sora thought, as they walked away from it all.

Hilt sniffed the air. He still smelled that scent. What was it? It was moving away now, in the same direction they were going. He looked at Ivy. She was just talking with Bob. Hilt sighed and paced along sedately, knowing she'd scold him if he went off to find where the scent was coming from.

Bob saw Hilt out of the corner of his eye. "What's wrong cat?" He finally asked. Wondering what it would say.

Hilt glanced at Bob for a second, then away. "Like you care," he purred silkily. "I don't find anything wrong." He declined to say that Ivy was getting a weird feeling. She wouldn't want him to.

Bob knew that the cat was lying to him. His eyes narrowed in a bit of anger and annoyance. "Don't lie to me hilt. It makes it harder for me to be inclined to help either of you." He then said quietly.

"He's not lying," Ivy snapped. "I think there's somethnig wrong with this place, not Hilt. You just leave him alone!" She glared at Bob. She liked Bob, yes, but she cared about Hilt more. And she knew that he knew that.

"Wrong with this place? Of course there is...there are reasons it is a forgotten forest. One of them is the enchanted animals in it and creatures the same...Dark elves, Golems, talking animals with great intelect that far surpass my own, and well animals that can heal. However it is rumored some ladies and gents came here and...never came back, and were eventually....forgotten." Cyrus said trying to explian the magic of the forest, "These people eventaully came out...but years later, not 10 or 20 but 75 years or so with out aging one bit...not all of them have come out yet either...."

Ivy raised an eyebrow. Somehow, she didn't believe that story. There was something else about hte forest, something she couldn't place. Now that she thought about, she'd felt it in the city, too. She shrugged. "Let's go, already," she insisted. "This place is getting boring."

Bob sent a glare at Ivy. "Please exscuse her milady Cyrus. She clearly doesn't know her manners or when and when not to speak." He said with a slightly bow. "I however find this place to be most enjoyable. Very nice and peaceful." he said looking around once more.
Then he glance over at Ivy again, looking deeply into her eyes. Be polite or i'm sending you back to the keep. He thought sternly to her. Quiet annoyed about the way she was acting.

Ivy glared at Bob, looking sullen. "Jerk," she muttered very softly. She looked down the hill again, toward the city. For some strange reason, it just didn't have the same allure as it had a few moments before. She didn't know why, she just didn't feel like going down there again. The way she was being treated by those two, though, she wasn't about to say anything.

Still watching her slightly, Bob heard her little comment. A little bit of annoyance came back again. Look. Having a friend in this land would not be a bad thing. But the only way that we're going to do that is by not insulting them, or making them mad. I'm sorry if your annoyed with me. But we need to find allies like her. So until then I need you and hilt to not be insulting. Bob tried to exsplain in her mind. Slightly knowing that if it didn't work that he would have to send her back. As much as he didn't really want to.
