She crawled closer and nudged him with her nose. "Come on... I got nothing better to do so you didn't bother me. Please tell me?" she nedged him again.

"Well, duh. You're my pack mate." She said naively. "But that can't be what's bothering you. Did I do something?" she asked knowing it was probably her fault he was upset.

Karla looked at him for a moment not sure what he was trying to say. The wind suddenly changed, bringing the scent of deer to her sensitive nose. She tensed and closed her eyes as she inhaled. "It's close." she said getting up, her fixed on the direction it was comming from. She hesitated then looked back at him, "Do I have permission to hunt?" she asked not wanting to get in trouble....again.

"Come on then." she wagged her tail. "Let's go!" she ran off into the forest following the scent. Dry leaves crunched under foot and the sun was warm on her back.

Her wagging tail brushed up against him as they ran through the dead leaves. She slowed as the scent got stronger and she began to stalk slowly forward careful to be silent. "Stay here, I'll creep around the other side and chase them to you." She said and stalked off to the left. When she got to the other side she saw them. Two does with one faun. She licked her lips eagerly and snuck forward a little. She looked over to Talos to see if he was ready.

She gave a slight nod and then focused on the deer, deciding on which one they would bring down. She looked at the mother she was healthy and strong with no illness or injuries. The faun also looked healthy and would be the does only weakness. The other doe looked older and was possibly the fauns grandmother. Her movements were a little stiff as she took a few steps as she grazed on the dry grass. Karla tensed and focused on the older doe signaling to Talos she would be their prey today. She took one more hesitant step forward and then launched herslef at the doe. The young mother fled with her faun just as karla had expected her too but the older doe ran straight to Talos's hiding place.

She now relaxed, seeing as though most threats were now gone. Getting up, she turned around, and set off once again, she knew not where to go, nor who to confront. As she decended a steep hill, her eye caught on a wolf, lurking along the underbrush, in order to ambush two does and a single foun grazing together. She stopped to observe the wolf's ancient hunting skills in action.



She gave up on trying to follow the wolf from earlier, laying down in the beams of sunlight that blotched along the forest floor. As she did, she saw a male wolf, creeping along the shrubery. She awaited his next move, seeing as though she wasn't seen herself.
