Nothing about it is a religion in my opinion. It's more of a lack of religion. I could understand if people argued that agnosticism is a religion, but not atheism.

Atheism is merely a belief, so if you were to classify it as a religion, than wouldn't things like vegetarianism be religions? Just some food for thought.
I do see how some people could think it of it as a religion, since Atheists tend to take the subject of religion. So. Damn. Seriously. Hence why there are so many atheists in this guild, including myself.
