Rhyme froze, the threat of death loomed over her. Ruin's gaze upon her seemed to pierce her, the close proximity causing Rhyme's legs to give out, sitting dumbly on the ground. Her kimono was going to get soiled but she didnt realize it.
Rhyme stared as the man rolled onto the ground, a look of horror taking over. What exactly, was this person? Why was she iniviting Haveni? Was Haveni.. evil?

Stunned by the speed the fallen ...constellation could use, Azra'iel cautiously inched his way to where he could sense the torn spirit of the festival dancer. Even with his abilities to guide lost souls, he knew the moment he touched the fallen 'hero' there was nothing that he could do to help. He lay a gentle hand on the dancer's head, trying to soothe his inner screams as he tensed, waiting for the evil one to answer the softly-stuttered question: truly terrified for all of them if this creature was not satisfied with Haveni's answer.

Girisha was shocked when Kliment grabbed him and his anger started to vanish. He nodded at his friend but looked back at where they had just been and his marking seemed to pulse more. "She need stopping." he knew someone needed to stop her. He didnt know how he would, he was a susceptible to die from her touch or go mad like the other man, but someone had to try.
He looked at Kliment. "I try to stop her." he hugged his friend. "Friend. Go, safe. I try." He stood and looked back in the direction of where the others were gathered.

"No," Kliment said firmly, placing a hand on Girisha's shoulder. "I will not go. And if you won't go, then that means we'll simply have to go together. But... you realize we will likely not be able to stop her." He cast his eyes to the ground and, for a fleeting moment, wondered if Daskri would be saddened that he might not be able to talk his ear off anymore. A small smile took place of his worried frown.
"Alright." He looked up, eyes determined. "Come on. Let's go do what we can." With that, he turned, squeezing his eyes shut and willing himself to be strong. The fear was still as potent as ever in his gut, but fond memories of friends kept him a teensy bit at ease, and that was enough.

Ruin's smirk faded, her eyes narrowing in a resentful glare, remembering. Before she could answer Avantea, her attention was drawn to Girisha.
"It doesn't matter if you and your kind were not there! It was the world who left me in that dark hell, and the world is what I will send to endure my suffering!"
Ruin seemed enraged, taking several strides before she was in the air, intending to teach Girisha a lesson with her plague-touch.
Haveni cried out, rushing from Avantea's side after Ruin. She wrapped her arms around her, and the two swung in a half-circle before falling out of the pathway to Girisha.
Ruin scowled at her, as if disappointed. "You can't choose this side forever." she murmured. Ruin, still actively pulsing with the plague-touch, put her arms around Haveni as if an embrace. The plague touch seeped into her, the same as the man who played the 'hero'.
After a few moments, Ruin released her. Growing weak, she stepped back into the shadows, and her entire presence was gone.
Haveni seemed in a state of shock as she lay on the ground. It wasn't the illness which had seeped into her, but Ruin's memories - which were apparently her memories as well. Somehow, the plague-touch did not affect her, but still she lay in shock.
However...it became clear then that if one did not fall terribly ill from that touch, they became...violent. The hero stood, growling and roaring, as if he were a rabid beast. He was out for blood..but whose would he get a hold of first~?

Girisha looked at his friend and smiled. He was happy to have someone that he practically just met who would come with him to help defend others.
Girisha looked in the direction they needed to go and frowned, his anger coming back up. He grabbed his Kliment's hand and started back towards the others. Following the way they had left he went back and came up next to all the others around the evil woman. But shee wasnt there. They had arrived just afterr she had disappeared. Though they were in time for the fallen man to rise and act as if he were in war.
Girisha prepared himself again for a fight and to defend those here.

The other Haveni was gone, and the one he had bought the candle from - the one who seemed to be the 'good one', so to speak - was on the ground. What had happened? Shaking his head, Kliment spared no time in leaping onto the man's back, drawing a thick string from his vest. With it, he looped it around the man's throat in an attempt to strangle him, knowing he was beyond saving.
It was a grizzly way to go, but he would at least give it a shot.

Rhyme staggered towards Haveni, hands crawling through the dirt and leaves, her attention soon diverted as the fallen dancer suddenly stood, her senses coming back to her. Surely, he couldnt attack a fallen person, would he?
Frantically, a small weak wall of crystal formed around Haveni's general area, in an attempt to protect Haveni. Obviously, she seemed very important in some way. Whether she was evil or not, she was in no condition to fight. Frantic music notes sounded in the air, Rhyme's slowly stabling condition had her trying to form a small fence of crystal, thickening with each second. She turned frantically to Ava. "Is she alright?" She asked worriedly.

Rylia stood around in the village, looking around her. She then looked back to the forest. The feeling coming from the forest felt different now. Just what had happened? She turned around and stared at the forest, back at the two and back again. Wondering just what was going on.

Avantea rushed to Haveni's side as Ruin vanished, wanting to be sure that the candle maker was alright. "What did she do to you?" she managed to ask before she was interrupted by... growling?
Slowly, she turned her head, her eyes widening with shock once more. What on earth had come over their hero? Ruin's touch had indeed driven him mad, it seemed.
"D-does... anyone k-know h-how to fight?" Avantea asked everyone else present then, "..b-because I certainly don't!"
In an instant, Kliment had already leapt at the mad man, strangling him. Hating violence, Ava quickly turned her face away, still unable to block the noise, and everything was still recorded into her book, the pages glowing fiercely from inside the closed cover.
At Rhyme's question, she turned her head to the direction of the constellation, opening her eyes again. "I-I don't know", she said, shaking her head.

Girisha watched as Kliment took the man out and figured his friend had it cover, though he kept an eye on him just in case.
Girisha went over to Haveni, and looked down at her. "She okay?" He looked bacck up at Ava, having directed the question at her. He looked back at Kliment for a second to make sure he wa alright only to see he had already taken care of the man, and then looked back at Ava to hear her talking to the other sitting with them.

Azra'iel had noticed a change in the 'hero's' spirit. It was like he was coming back to himself, but he was still so torn that the constellation was not at all sure what would become of him. The 'hero's' awakening seemed to coincide with the disappearance of the evil force that had been pressing down on his powers and ability to react. Noticing his 'vision' had cleared of the whirling reds and blacks, Azra'iel looked toward the one he had guarding... only to see his veins had filled with that same pulsing red and black. Drawing the guiding light of his aura around himself, Azra'iel reached out to try and force the darkness from the poor dancer's spirit, fearing he could not do so without killing him. Luckily, the dancer was distracted, dealing with a... twilif it seemed from the power Arza'iel sensed.

The rabid hero man flailed, trying to ignore Kliment on his back. He was rushing towarsd the group of girls, not exactly after Haveni, but just anybody in particular. His growling began to get cut-off by being strangled, and he fell to his knees just short of the girls, reaching out and grabbing at Rhyme's kimono, before making disturbing gurgling sounds as he finally died.
"This is a foul conception, indeed." a voice spoke from behind everybody. The Nameless One stood within the trees, inspecting the scene before her. She took silent, gentle steps into their grouping, kneeling near Haveni and placing a hand on her forehead. "She is alright, merely stunned. And everyone else...are you alright? I suppose I owe an explanation for this, don't I?"

Girisha looked at the story teller. She had come out of no where and seemed to know more about the situation than she had seemed to before. Girisha frowned at her before looking to Kliment to see where he was.

"We should be safe." Automatically, a reassuring tone was taken, the uncertainty spreading at the moment forced Rhyme to remain calm. "I'll protect Haveni and you. Or at the very least, I can try." Rhyme turned her attention on the man, watching the violence with a flinching gaze.
Rushed music notes filled the air, Rhyme had to force herself to calm down. Slow melodies came, it took all she had just to focus her concentration. She could protect them for now. But what came next? But as she pondered the consequences, the battle had ended, Rhyme nearly jumped as the man clutched her kimono, jerking the fabric away from him.
"That's quite a relief." Rhyme said, her hand brushing away messy strands on Haveni's face. They certainly needed an explanation. She held up the dead man, closing his eyes. He needed this much, at least. "Poor man. He didn't even know what was coming." She murmured softly, a sad expression taking over.
