Along with giving the fleeing adventurers a little kick in the pants, the fireball enrages the scorpion, who promptly lunges forward in a fit and downs several guards. There is a temporary opening.

[Me and migy are going to have some Internet outage. Not sure about his, but mine is definitely temporary. Your tasks:
1d20 to sneak past the enraged scorpion
1d20 survival across the desert
move to other thread
1d20 climb wall into town.
Even a [1] on any of those tasks will not result in anything so drastic that you cannot make the rest of the posts.
A 1 on all three might, but thats how far you are supposed to go before waiting]

Crossing the desert shouldn't be so bad. Larcenus has a decent assortment of items in his pack that lend themselves to self-sufficiency.
Edit: And it isn't! Anyone up for going to Vegas or Reno? xd
