The sound of heavy running footsteps could be heard throughout the entrance of the park as they rose in volume. Each step seeming to be heavier than the ones that came before it. As the source of the footsteps neared the forest entrance Reiniku's light blonde hair could be seen blowing in the breeze as he ran to the best of his ability, the speed he was currently moving at was comparable to a slow jog and a light sweat had already broken out on Reiniku's brow. His eyes were full of a determined flame that flickered strongly, This vest is really impairing my running speed. He thought as he wiped the sweat from his forehead with his shirt sleeve.
As he entered the forest he was near immediately hit with a cool breeze that smelled of woodlands, a smile spread across his face as he was cooled by the breeze. "That certainly hit the spot." Reiniku muttered to himself, a small amount of relief showing as he ran on. Dodging the occasional tree root that had decided to grow in the middle of the path took most of his energy and concentration alone and the weight constantly pulling down on his shoulders from the vest straps did not help much with his concentration either.
After a few moments of dodging roots, trunks and rocks alike a noise carried though the air that seemed to bother the birds perched in the trees surrounding Reiniku as they all simultaneously took flight in a mass panic of wind and feathers. What th- Reiniku began to say as he slowed to a stop before the bushes beside him exploded outwards in a flurry of motion of blue feathers and a whirl of cold air that caught Reiniku off guard, sending him sprawling to the ground as he struggled to get the small bundle of feathers off of his chest. "H-Hyousetsu....C-cant...B-b-reathe!" He exclaimed before pushing the bird off, the combined weight of his pet and the vest turning out to be to great as it had been cutting off his air flow. Catching his breath Reiniku couldn't help but smile slightly, looking towards Hyousetsu with a small spark of entertainment showing in his eyes. "Hey there, miss me?" He asked the bird while struggling into a standing position, the bird answering with a triumphant cry. "Thought so." Reiniku stated as he motioned for the bird to follow him as he followed the path once more, Hyousetsu flying behind him as slow as she possibly could without crashing into the ground. Crossing though the middle of the park Reiniku spotted Sakka but decided to say nothing as he passed by. The weight of the vest was already tearing into his shoulders and he was half tempted to throw the vest away but he knew better than to cheat. "Just keep going..." He told himself as he crossed though the forest, the gate leading into the kiri market was coming into sight and Reiniku was releaved that he could put one part of the training out of the way as he ran though the gate and into the market with a triumphant smile on his face.
