Relaxing slightly she gestured to Lexi, ordering softly. " Keep this one, she will be needed." then she simply turned to make her way to Phantom.. intending to remain with her and Bones. pauseing she looked back at Avarice, her posture once again a deadly joker as she grinned.. her voice a silky warning. " Before i go.. Shall i fix that face of yours, Gerard?"

Soothed Yuri hid her face against his shoulder, her tiny arms wraping around his neck.

Lexi, untroubled with the events that had happened, simply started wraping a thick cloth around her hand.. quietly debaiting to herself on what she could use to bandage her shoulder and hip. she was still crouching a few feet from them, and didnt hear Rileys order.

"No," he said to Riley, absentmindedly rubbing Yuri's back, "Bones plucked out my eye with a heated silver blade." Avarice had built up an immunity to silver, but he'd never mastered healing a wound sealed with flame.

It hadn't occured to Avarice that his eye hadn't moved from where Phantom had vanished. He would never admit to it, but her words had stung. There was so little left of his Coraline, but Phantom, she'd remain, taunting him.

Pulling himself from his reverie, he kneeled before Lexi, severing the threads that held his sleeve intact. Ripping the sleeve into strips of cloth, he offered them to her.

"A temporary alternative, my dear."

"Yes baby she is. But only the bad people who want to hurt us." She kissed Yuri on the forehead and looked at Avarice. "Where do we go now? Surely Someone will be after us." She was calm about it all, but she was tired of people coming after her.

Concerned Yuri wiggled from her mothers grip, patting Bones's leg soothingly as she promised. " Aunt Ri wont let'em eat you, She said you were saposed to protect me 'an momma." she looked around for a moment then glanced at Lexi. " Can you show us the place aunt was talking about..?" she had heard them speak while Riley had pulled the woman out of fire.. or more acuratly, Her wolf Suri had heard them and told her.

Smiling she patted the little girls head, saying thoughtfully. " If its what you want, i thought the place was fairly dusty but it has potential." standing she brushed the dirt from her jeans, carful not to hurt her bandaged hand as she spoke to the others. " Riley said that the old RCS building in the mainlands was fairly empty.. she said something about a lay line of energy and Wards around it."

Bones smiled and ruffled Yuri's hair. "Thanks." A protector. He recalled distantly, the lengths he go to to protect his puppets. After years of self-destructive single-mindedness, relentlessly pursuing Avarice, he felt...relief? Kneeling infront of Yuri, he took her hands and said, "I'll protect you, as best I can."

'From anyone,' he thought, giving Avarice a sidelong glance.

A lay line, it was certainly worth investigating. Perhaps there something more there that Riley wanted him to find. 'A game,' he thought, 'how exciting.' As for Phantom, he wasn't worried about her. If she wanted to play, she would.

"The RCS," he said simply, "I wish to see for myself these wards and lay lines of energy." Smiling, he added to Lexi, "dust won't be a problem, will it?"

Dana sighed and moved over to Bones. "Come on Bones, you and I can go to the bar first and make sure it is safe for us. Dad can watch Yuri and Lexi can do what ever she wants really." She smiled at the woman and started down the hill, not really waiting for Bones to follow but wanted him to come at any rate.
