He looked at the both of them. "I personally believe that if you live, or in our case exist, in a good, purposeful way. You shall be rewarded. I may have to pay for my transgressions as a low class hollow to vasto lordes, but now that I no longer HAVE to feed to sustain my life, individuallity, and to gain strength for survival... I choose to live admirably..."
His gaze returned to the front.

"Don't worry so much about past sins, I have done my fair share of things I now regret," he hated remembering all he did in service to the king and the central 46, "life is full of trials, and only those with a reason for living will keep on going even with the world against them. I have to admit though, nothing I did involved eating people."

He nearly burst out laughing. "If only eating was the worst."
He calmed back down to his stoic self. "But it is as you say. Past sins are exactly that. Past. Now it's time to battle Gods and their abundant creations and fanatical followers." His face then went into a grim set frown.

"No need to be so grim," he rubbed the back of his head, "I personally think that the fighting is going to be fun. I haven't had a good fight in years actually... becoming Captain Commander keeps you out of combat save for the most grave situations"

*Zukota walked down the familiar steps glad to finally be back in his comfort zone, Seireitei the place where he was born and what may very well become his grave.*
"I'll take the two of you for a trip around the city, this place may become a battle field so I want you to be well acquainted with the surroundings," he gestured to the Shinigami who were waiting for orders, "let's bring them along, they work so hard most of the time that I think they deserve an easy mission."

"By the way, I need to meet all of your Captains and Lieutenants..." He said as a sidenote. "If I'm going to fight alongside an army, I need to know which scents to follow in case of a situation needs a ranking officer."

"That could get interesting, some of the captains like the thrill of combat and would take any excuse to use force against a powerful foe," he rubbed his head, "let's just focus on the tour to begin with."

Zukota looked at Peara grimly, "yes, Mayuri Kurotsuchi, he is in charge of the twelfth division and would like nothing more than to take interesting subjects and run tests on them until they are not much more than bloody pulps."
