While she did that, Hal took off his pilot jacket, setting it on the table, and concentrated lightly. The ring flashed emerald for a moment, and a green flame passed over his clothes. He was instantly wearing his Green Lantern uniform.

Sapphire slid her mask off and brushed back some of her light brown hair. She gave Hal a small smile once she seen him in his uniform. "Now that would be handy. A lot better than leaving your clothes somewhere and finding them later." she said, then glanced down at her own costume. She didn't bring anything else with her. She ould just form some of her strands over her costume. If she made them thin enough, she could easily make blue silk.

Hal replied, "Personally, I'd have done something that DIDN'T hide your face as much. You're too good-looking."

Sapphire smiled and blushed faintly. "Thanks. Full face is more for hiding expressions. Bad guys don't get quite as mad if they can't tell you're laughing at them." she said with a smile. Though she really did prefer to hide everything just so no one could recognise her. Too many bad things happened after that.

"As fast as he is, I'm surprised he's not already here," Hal said. "He's the fastest man alive. Think light speed. Now, go just below that, because going at light speed runs the chance of killing him."

"His mouth is as quick as he is I take it." she asked. Well, she liked to annoy villians herself, but that was only if they really deserved it. Or simply set themselves up for commentary.
After a moment, Gossamer pulled back from the kiss and gave Joker a small smile. Bat paused, but that seemed to be it. He really couldn't be that into a science magazine. Wish she had a penny for his thoughts. Then again, she might have something just as good. She glanced back at the bat a moment, and her eyes flashed yellow for a second. A second or two later, she grinned and turned her attention back to Joker.
Well, at least she knew that this was bugging him. Seem's the boy had his own girl he'd rather be with.

"Possibly quicker," Hal said, then laughing at the small joke.
Joker smiled back at Gossamer. "Checking on the damage?"

Sapphire smiled and chuckled a bit herself. This little party was turning out to be more fun then she thought it would.
"Mm-hm." Gossamer replied, giving him another small kiss. "Boy's just a little annoyed. Seems he'd rather be somewhere else, with someone else."

"Pseudo-Bats has a love interest?" Joker asked, then yelled over to Terry, "Hey, Fake-Batsy! Go ahead, take off that terrible costume and go after that little lady of yours!"
Hal calmed down, and said, wearing a small smile, "Still, he's a very good friend."

ice dragon walked into the room and decided that she would go and get some snackes.
talma walked in to the party just as her fave song came on. ha squel as she ran and got misty and draged her out on to the dance floor not carring that she was talking to some one .

Hal laughed a little as he watched Sapphire get dragged off to the dance floor by the strange girl. A moment of slight concentration later, he was wearing his normal clothes. He picked up his jacket again, put it on just like his father always taught him (high on the shoulders, with pride, but always open, always ready to be given to someone who needed it more than he himself did), and joined the two on the dance floor. "Don't believe we've met," Hal said to the new girl. "Name's Green Lantern. That's Sapphire Spider, but I don't know you." He didn't use his real name, because he had already decided that Sapphire was the woman he wanted. Plus, this girl was definitely too young.

Sapphire, blushing a bit from embarassment, turned to Hal when he joined them. "My younger sister. Now that I think of it, where's your other half?" she asked, turning back towards Talma.
