Markus was wondering what he should do now when he saw a figure emerging from the forest, seemingly unharmed. He knew that form. He recognized it from his days as a dog for Haven. His initial thought was that he was with other knights as well, trying to fend off assassins. But he soon realized he was alone. Markus saw this as an opportunity. An ally? Markus quickly made his way to him, ignoring the pirate, and soon found himself near him. He made sure to stoop over slightly, trying to make him believe he was elderly. He spoke with a hoarse voice, and made sure he was not visible to him. It would be bad if Atticus Strife recognized him at this moment. He wasn't sure if he was friendly or an enemy. "Youngling! What are you doing by the Black Forest, hm? Hunting for traitors of Haven, Knight?" Markus felt somewhat foolish speaking like his elderly grandfather, who currently lay on his deathbed, but did so to make himself seem the true deal.

She grinned in amusement as she thought of Leo coming back a wagon.
"A wagon would be splendid indeed," She chuckled.

((lol lucifer! fail! who are you talking to? i think you posted the old one that interacted with that boy that wandered through the forest, but he's not in this rp))
"When's this friend coming back?" Freya questioned, now impatient and itching to start her journey. "Is this land lubber reliable? What are his skills? What are your skills?" questions poured uncontrollably out of her mouth, anxious to know if her crew would actually one to be prideful of.
Don't want to disgrace father, she mused as she scanned her golden eyes over the two girls in front of her. "Aye, and Liona is it? It'd be smart to loose the shells. Ye won't want to be lugging them around the Black Forest even if you had a wagon to wheel them around in. Too much trouble..."

(( No, he's talking to Atticus. An old man sees anyone as a youngling, and he's pretending to be an old man. ))

((Don't rush me I'll get to it. I fell asleep while trying to complete this post. D: ))
-After a few days of traveling and a few, almost life taking, fights with several Black Boars (minotaur like creatures), Ancient Oaks (living trees brought to life by black magic), and a Dark Wolf pack (a pack of brutal and vicious, giant wolves)-
Atticus stopped as he heard a voice. "Youngling! What are you doing by the Black Forest, hm? Hunting for traitors of Haven, Knight?" The man said. He turned about and faced him. He spoke to the man in an olden fashion, "Mine blade is not for hunting... I have not been forth to hunt since many a moon, my friend." He said in a calm and reassuring tone, then his voice gained a certain harshness, "I am that of the banished. Thou would be wise to avoid mine sword!" He took a short pause and spoke again, "Who be ye?" He held the pommel of his sword tight, ready to draw it at any moment.

"Oh, he should be coming back very soon," She smiled a little over at Freya, "As for my skills..." She rubbed her arms a bit, "I tend to know my way around very well..." She said that part quietly, staring off into the forest, "Never get lost..."
((Awesome sense of direction.))

Markus, under the protection of his cloak, smirked. Ah, another banished knight, eh? "I be only a wandering fool... so, Banished Knight, what do you plan for now? Revenge? Finding a family and leaving your past far behind? Hm?" Markus shuffled over to a log, sitting on it. His hand was on the pommel of his own sword, ready for if he needed it.

Ashe walked through the crowds at Bejeweled Bay. She had visited this place a few times with her family to sell their wares and buy needed supplies. She listened in on snatches of conversation, listening for any thread that will mention a trip through the forest. She heard a female, a pirate, judging from her accent mention the Black Forest. She smirked, 'That was a little easier than I thought.' She walked up to the three and called out to the pirate woman. "I hear your taking a trip through the Dark Forest. Is that true?"

"Aye, we be on our way. We're just waiting for their land lubber friend. Ye interested in joining my crew?" Freya questioned with a sparkle in her eye, excited to gain yet an other member to her ever growing crew. I'll have a bigger crew than you sooner or later, she mused, meaning to talk to her father in her head. Just as she was going to ask this new person their name, she noticed a man walking up to their group out of the corner of her eye.
"Hey, you be their male companion? What are your skills?" she asked impatiently, not caring about the supplies that he got. If it was up to her, she would simply travel the forest with just the clothes on her back, and leave fate to decide whether she survived or not.

Ashe eyed the two others and quickly saw that they where going to need help in the Black Forest. She had no worries about the pirate, she could take care of herself, judging from the weapons the woman carried. Watching as the boy came up she sighed, another who could loose their life in the Forest.
Smirking she stepped back. "Being good with people won't keep your head on in the woods," she said. "Do you know how to fight? Use a weapon? Those woods are dangerous, I wouldn't take it's creatures lightly." She held up and arm covered in scars. "Even living in it's fringes is dangerous."
