Well, at least that got someones attention. Even if it had ended up Seamus. He seemed to be the talkative one, at least. Better than having Felix crying through the whole thing. "Seems like it," she answered, and left it at that. It certainly did seem like the lot of them played Quidditch, although there was no one from her team that she could recognize easily. It wouldn't have mattered much if there was someone from her team, seeing as she tended only to get along with them on the pitch. Shifting a bit uncomfortably, she ended up waiting for Seamus to introduce the new girl. She looked familiar, and Anna could only guess that the girl was a quidditch player by the way Seamus had reacted to her comment about the game. Just as she was about to introduce herself, Seamus went ahead and did it for her. "Lovely creature, Seamus?" Certainly not the way she was used to be introduced, as most people didn't have swelled egos. Wiping the frown off her face quickly, she threw on a polite smile and a nod towards Makala. "Pleased to meet you, Makala." It sounded a bit like it was something she was incredibly used to saying, and no longer had any need to put any warmth into it. In fact, she could not care less if she had ever met the girl, and she was quite sure she'd be able to get along well enough without ever having met her.

Makala examined Felix a bit closer, trying to see how well she really recognised him. "Oh, yes, Felix! Brilliant performance against Gryffindor last year." She looked to Anna as she heard her say her position on the Ravenclaw team, and smiled slightly. "Keeper, eh?" she repeated. "I look forward to seeing you often on the Pitch, then. I'm one of the Slytherin Chasers." She let out a small laugh at Seamus's comment, and was about to introduce herself when the other Slytherin did it for her. "Pleased to meet you all. And just what is it you have against Quidditch, S?" she teased him.

But Don't Count Me Out!

User Image User Image Felix's smile returned as Seamus said he'd only be mad if Felix sucked. Felix wanted to do a happy dance or something ridiculous like that. He nodded. If Seamus wouldn't be mad, Felix would win for sure. He had been good in that last game and he hadn't stopped practicing over the summer holidays. He was sure he was going to be great. He was going to win. He was going--

Felix jumped and nearly yelped when another voice spoke to him. Felix deflated quickly. The girl looked familiar, but he wasn't sure. He felt himself close off some. He wasn't so open around people he didn't know. With her words, tears brimmed his eyes. Talk about shattering his confidence. Felix gathered himself, trying to convince himself it was nothing to cry over. He rubbed his fists over his eyes and blinked at Anna as she spoke. "Keeper!" He said with a happy note in his voice. "I guess I'll see you on the field eventually... But I might be too fast that you won't see me..." He said with a grin. It was joke and he hoped no one took it too seriously.

Felix moved a little closer to Seamus before he stopped walking too. Felix grinned at Seamus as he asked if everyone was quidditch play. He opened his mouth to say something about it, but shut it as Seamus agreed to what the girl had said. His smile fell a bit. He didn't want Slytherin to win. He wanted to prove he was worth something. He had to win for Hufflepuff.

Felix suddenly realized why he knew the girl. Seamus said she was part of the quidditch team. He fidgeted in his spot. He wanted to hide behind Seamus. He was afraid the girl would bit him or something to be super mean. He looked up as Anna spoke again. She didn't seem to have a problem with the girl. Maybe she wasn't going to be mean. Felix glanced at Makala. "T-thanks..." He said softly.

Anna's smile faltered a bit when Makala looke towards her, a small smile on her face. Hadn't exactly been expecting anyone to comment any further on the matter of quidditch, but it seemed to be something quite a few of them had in common. Her mother would likely want her to carry on for hours about the subject, make friends, connections, and all that happy s**t Anna didn't give a rats a** about. "Well then, I'll be looking forward to bringing you down." It was an off hand, slightly vague, and extremely vain comment. Things like that she didn't often bring to the table, but she was starting to feel the need to sleep more than she had minutes ago. Smiling smugly she turned towards Felix when he commented, yet again, about quidditch. "Careful, Felix. You're starting to sound like Seamus." She chided, although there was a joking tone to it. The Hufflepuff would probably take it seriously, however, so she ended up throwing a smile in at the end. It was probably pointless to do so, but it was worth a shot.

"Alright Anna." Seamus conceded. "The occasionally lovely creature." He laughed. When Makala demanded to know what he had against Quidditch he turned to her and shook his head, still smiling. "Not a thing darling. It's just, you all have it more than covered. Someone has to sit in the stands and keep company all the nice girls you leave behind!" It was true, Seamus didn't like the game much at all, as far as playing was concerned, but the stands were a perfect place to watch his House excel, and check out all the cheering female fans. Anna joked to Felix about sounding like himself, and Seamus turned back to her again. "Hey now. There's not a thing wrong with being honest about your abilities, especially with a competitor. Maybe even exaggerate with a competitor, love. But never modest." He eyed Felix as he spoke to her, to see how he'd take her jesting. Something told him it wouldn't go over well.
PostPosted: Sat Aug 08, 2009 10:17 am

There wasn't really a great way for her to reply to that, seeing as she had been perfectly fine with what he had said the first time. Shouldn't have said anything about it. In a last second decision, she did something she didn't so often, due to the fact that it was not only childish, but it tended to drop peoples opinions of her. She stuck her tongue out at the taller boy, the metal of her tongue ring clicking against her teeth. Mildly annoying, but it couldn't be helped. Probably would have thrown in an obscene hand gesture, but Seamus was already talking again. The rather playful expression she had held a moment ago melted into a scowl. Figures he'd only go to quidditch games to chase girls. As he turned back to her, she fought the urge to roll her eyes. "Never said there was anything wrong with, ah, being honest about your abilities." She doubted this would be a conversation where she would come out on top, seeing as she was forgetting to think before she spoke. "But, modesty isn't something that should be thrown completely into the gutter."

User Image User Image Felix's jaw dropped. He looked quickly away from Anna, tears coming to his eyes. She didn't seem to like the way Seamus acted much. He was sure he had upset her, but just to make sure he glanced back up at her shyly as Seamus made his first comment. Anna was smiling light. Felix looked away again, blushing now. He took a glance at Seamus as he spoke of how Felix was acting. Seamus was staring at him. He looked down again. He was smiling lightly now, though.

Felix looked up at Anna again, the smile still there. She was joking with him. And she was annoyed with Seamus. She stuck her tongue out at him. Felix giggled. Yes, giggled. He stopped when he caught sight of her tongue ring. Now, that was interesting. He moved a little closer to her to get a better view of it, but she had already hidden it away. He grinned sheepishly at her and backed a way again. He looked between Anna and Seamus. The kitten in his hands mewed and he sighed. "Ummm... I guess the kitten is ready to go..." He whispered.

Snickers jumped down his shoulder to the ground. He stared at Seamus's shoes for a long moment, then headed towards the castle. Felix sighed. That ferret was sometimes too much for him to handle. He shook his head and looked back to the other too, waiting for them to say go.

Heath smiled a genuine towards Addison now, for some reason, he felt a lot better now. He didn’t mind the fact that the two of them had been subtracted from the group, nor that another girl had been added. It felt nice to be ignored for once, and then they couldn’t look at them as if it were something so fantastically obvious. However, because of this equation that had played out on the grounds, he was slightly bored with listening to them. He was all for Quidditch, and could probably talk about it for hours, but now didn’t seem the time to butt in. Then again, no time did. He didn’t want to be rude, but he didn’t see much point in introducing himself, it didn’t seem like anyone was paying much attention to them. Though he somewhat appreciated the nod they’d gotten. He slowed his pace down a bit, and squeezed Addison’s hand. How’s about we slip away from this bunch? he whispered to her softly, getting a good distance from the others, to make sure they didn’t hear. I hardly think they’d notice, we could take another route to the castle, maybe even stop by some other area? Can’t imagine we’ll get much done with them around. he added, a smile forming on his face.

Addison had trudged along behind the group with Heath, not paying much attention to their conversation, which had turned to Quidditch. Not only did Addison not particularly care about the sport, she didn't care for flying either, so that was already two strikes against her liking for Quidditch. Plus, the stands around the pitch were often far too loud for reading. That made three strikes, not that Addison minded. She held Heath's hand in silence, watching as the backs of the others in the group drew further and further away. Normally, when Addison didn't know someone well, the silence was awkward and bothersome, but with Heath it was quite comfortable and pleasant, something she was glad for, since she liked him.

She felt him squeeze her hand in his, and she turned to look at him as he whispered to her. After his first question, she glanced out of the corner of her eyes at the others. They seemed far enough away that they wouldn't notice at all. Heeath continued on and suggested they even go elsewhere, seemingly dismissing the plans of walking her to her common room. Addison returned the smile that appeared on Heath's face. "I agree; they're so engrossed in their Quidditch talk they wouldn't notice. And I'd love to, where shall we go? The lake?" They were still meandering back toward the castle, albeit much slower than the others.

Magdalena strolled around, paying attention to no one and nothing. Her mind was on different topics, her home, Hogwarts and so much more it was the biggest amazement you did see smoke coming out of the top of her head. Tossing her brown curls to the side, she continued to walk until she bumped into someone (Whoever wishes to be Bumped into ^-^).

Clumsy as she always was she looked up to say. "Oh sorry, never paying attention to where I'm going anymore." Maggie said while flashing her white smile. Typical Victorie charm, to seal it sweet.

User Image User Image (( oo ooo oooo I volunteer to be bumped into! Felix is a trouble magnet! lol ))

Felix was still smiling when something thudded into his back. He stumbled forward a bit, which crushed him for a moment against Seamus. Then he fell on his butt. The kitten in his hands panicked with the sudden movements. It cried it's protests and bit Felix's hand to get free. Felix yelped and released the kitten. As he sat on the ground he watched the kitten disappear into the darkness of the night covered grounds.

Felix's face crumbled as he stared off into the distance where the kitten had gone. He started to sob softly, not bothering to get up. He heard someone apologize. From the sound of it, it was a girl and considering her words she probably was a Gryffindor or a Hufflepuff. He looked back and up to her with a tear stained face. Yep, she was a Gryffindor. He sobbed harder as he looked up to Anna. "I'm sorry, Anna..." He began softly. He sniffled and wiped his eyes on the back of his shirt. "I'm so sorry... I didn't mean to lose the kitten... I- I-... I shouldn't have been standing there like that!"

Magdalena's brow ceased. "Ai! Are you alright?" Kneeling down, her hazel-brown eyes met his for a moment, worry written across. Quite the emotional Hufflepuff, what luck she had encountered. Maggie's skirt rode up a bit, annoying the living daylights out of her.

Upon hearing and seeing the cat flee she though Oh dear... Kurwa*. Swearing in Polish, she tried to help Felix up.

Seamus smiled at Anna, his blue eyes sparkling with laughter. "Of course not. No one should throw modesty completely in the gutter." He just didn't see a need for it in most circumstances. The tongue ring had surprised him, which only stood to make her more enigmatic. He only caught a glimpse of it though, before she turned her mouth into a scowl. Pity.

The kitten Felix was holding began to get antsy, and he suggested they get going. Seamus nodded at the Hufflepuff. "Yes, it's getting later, and I would hate to have to bust you for being out past curfew." He really only "busted" when it suited him, or he just felt the urge. Certainly never when he was out with people. Although they didn't know that, he was just kidding. He'd only taken a step before Felix came at him, colliding with his body solidly. Fumbling, Seamus made to catch him, keep him upright, but he wasn't fast enough. Felix was on his bum in the dirt. "Bloody hell! Watch where you're going yeah?" He didn't look to see who'd shoved the other boy, he was too busy watching the kitten run off into the night. Stepping around the pusher Seamus put a hand on either side of Felix's shirt, hefting the boy off the ground, making him stand on his feet. "And you don't bloody apologize for standing anywhere," he growled, releasing the Hufflepuff. He turned away, looking into the night after the escaped animal.

Magdalena frowned, she felt horrid once more. I just have to be such a spaz... The gift of Damn clumsiness. She thought to herself. "Sorry, and about you cat, Anna?" The Gryffindor had sudden remorse she had even walked down the hall way. Lets face it she was trouble, clumsy trouble... possibly the worst. Figuring it would be best if she helped she said. "I'll help finding the cat since it is mostly if not all my fault." Maggie rose back to her height of 5'6. She started to fiddle with a loose strand of chestnut hair, winding and unwinding it around her finger. Her lips were turned downward.

She seemed to be 'bumping' into people a lot these days, possibly because she rarely ever payed attention to her surroundings. Maggie sighed as she saw a Slytherin. She honestly had nothing against them, seeing how her cousin Alan was used to be one of them. The problem was they always were aimed on bothering Maggie. Kill em with Kindness Mags' Alan had told her on her first day at Hogwarts. So far Kindness didn't seem like a good weapon. Not as good as a wand or an Insult.

Apparently somehow had managed to see her tongue ring. It was nice and all, that someone had noticed. But she certainly didn't need to have Felix creep up closer to her to try to get a better view of it. Hadn't they ever seen one before? They weren't uncommon, from what she knew. There was a small moment where she debated on commenting on Felix's actions or not, but instead decided to pretend not to notice. Things were just better like that. After he grinned, and backed away, Anna turned back towards Seamus. She hadn't failed to notice Seamus' smile. A smile? Had he smiled before then? If he had, she certainly hadn't noticed it. She'd been far too busy trying to find reasons to dislike him. The scowl she had melted into a coy grin, and she didn't bother replying. Not mch you could say to that.

As the kitten in Felix's hand mewed, there was a noticable amoutn of annoyance on her face. She hated cats, she really did, and she had been just fine with forgetting the damned animal was even there. Nodding her agreement to head back towards the castle she took a few steps towards Felix, and gesturing for him to lead. It was cut off short, when some ditzy girl barrelled right into the Hufflepuff. The girl had apologized, but it seemed fake. Anna's eyes narrowed into what could only be described as a death glare, and she turned away from the new girl, watching as Felix rammed right into Seamus before falling right back onto his a**. And, of course, the cat ran off. Now she had another good reason to hate cats.

Just as the Ravenclaw was about to say something, she heard the sound of Felix sobbing. Pathetic that was, but a look of concern crossed her eyes quickly, as she looked down at the boy. Biting her lip, she listened to his apology, although she didn't fully understand the need for it. "It's alright, Felix. I know you didn't mean to lose it, accidents happen." she murmured, watching as Seamus practically yanked the Hufflepuff out of his sitting position on the ground. "And Seamus is right. Don't apologize for standing somewhere. Some people should watch where they're going." At the last part of her statement, she didn't even try to disguise her usually venom and annoyance. Her eyes flickered back to the ditzy girl, who ended up talking again. Somehow, somewhere, she had apparently introduced herself to her. Or she been getting watched. Either way, it made her eyes narrow a bit, and the smile she threw on looked incredibly fake. "It's fine. I can look for the cat tomorrow." she said quickly, though she didn't sound very forgiving.
