"not specificly" felix gave a small laugh "i dont dance, or mingle well" he raised his eyebrow "why do you ask?" he whispered again and the fireflies lights grew again, lighting up he shaded area "alone? .. or just ... curious"

Kima smiled lightly, pulling the now stuffy mask, looking around at the fireflies."A little of both I suppose.In technicality i am not alone, sense you are here.But i certainly didn't bring someone along with me.Yes though, im very curious as to what you do out here all alone.Though your not,now anyways." She said, grinning at him.At taking of her mask she showed her shockingly red eyes, which could be somewhat a turn off to some men.

What a pity that I had not met this man as myself. Catarina thought as she slowly curtsied to Sir Gavin once more. Though perhaps it’s still a possibility? Looking into Gavin’s expressive eyes she decided that it would not be right to continue the charade, he had the right to know who he was talking to.
Catarina thought it best to skip over his questions about Liliana‘s stay and so instead she smiled and said, “Monsieur Wingate, would you care to accompany me to the garden for some fresh air? All this dancing has made me dizzy and I think it would be easier for us to continue our conversation outside.”

"Oh, mamdamouiselle, I would be delighted!" Gavin gracefully halted his dancing and gently took her by the arm, firmly beleiving her alibi of being dizzy from the dancing and intending to support her. "Right this way, I beleive. And it is such a lovely night out..." He gently escorted her down the steps and out into the gardens, steering away from the willow tree with the figures standing beneath it. I see no reason to bother those two, and I would prefer the solitary company of miss Rothschilde anyway. Here, perhaps, in the rose bower? He sat down on a stone bench beneath a tangle of bloodred roses softened with silver by the moonlight and turned in his guest's direction so that the moonbeams woke an aura of silver reflected light off his alabaster skin, glinting in his sapphire eyes. 'Now then... shall we continue?'

Catarina decided to get straight to the point and not prolong the lie. “I’m afraid I brought you out here on false pretenses.” Turning away slightly she removed her mask and then faced him once again as herself. “My name is not Liliana, I am Catarina Violetta Rosati. I’m terribly sorry for the deception but I was trying to avoid recognition from certain vampires this evening. I do hope you can forgive me.” Looking at him now and trying to gauge his reaction she found she couldn’t turn away from his intense blue gaze.

Gavin's eyes went wide at the sudden shock of the revelation. The Princess...! Immediately he blurred off the bench and onto one knee before her, one fist's knuckles against the ground by his right foot and the other clenched over his heart in the proper posture of obeisance. "Milady! I do hope that you haven't been offended by a commoner daring to consort with you!" Gavin kept his eyes locked to the edge of the bench in front of him and fear knotted his organs and stiffened his spine. I.. I was... flirting... with the Princess! Oh, Goddess... "I swear, had I known I would never have acted so brashly. But..." He swallowed and felt the nervous tension beginning to relax. She had been so warm... so kind... "I- Milady, I enjoyed your company very thoroughly indeed. I am sure thet you had a very valid reason to conceal your true identity to mask yourself from this mysterious personage. I humbly thank you for the time you have spent with me."

Shocked by the sudden change in behavior Catarina hesitantly reached out to Gavin, "Please, don't hide yourself behind a courtly facade now that I have revealed my true identity. I truly did enjoy this evening, I had hoped that you might want to know the real me better." She should have known this was how he would react. She had fooled herself into thinking that it would be different with Gavin than it was with any other vampire at court; that he would see past her title. A single tear slid down her fair cheek as she was plunged into reality and lost the magic of the night. Pulling back she composed herself and placed her hands neatly in her lap. "I understand if you wouldn't want to continue where we left off, please don't feel obligated to because of my name. It was lovely to have met you Sir Gavin Ezekiel Wingate." Solemnly she rose from the bench, curtsied and turned to leave all the while still hoping he would stop her.

Kima laughed softly, plopping down next to him, tucking her dress in at the legs, otherwise letting it fly about as it liked.She tilted her head at him."Usually im used to getting poeple to stare at me shocked by my eyes.I mean yeah, i know vampires have red eyes, but I was born with mine, and they're much brighter then a vampires."She said, talking like this was an every day explanation.

Felix laughed "i've always had a fascination with red .. perhaps too much, my family thought so" he started playing with the grass, pulling out the blades and ripping them into smaller pieces "they always acted like they knew so much about me .. and always knew what was best .. and what i could never do ... i never listened" he sighed "follow my own heart ... not someone elses" looking up at her eyes again his own glazed over .. almost in a trance "what is it .... about .. those eyes" he looked down "forgive me .. i've never acted this way before"

Kima smiled gently, tilting ehr head at him. "its alright, I tend to have that effect on people.I never had a family, except the day I was born, when my mothers seeth, the surviving ones, got me out of a war going on inside her home.She was killed i was orphaned.Blah De blah.Etc etc."she smirked lightly, watching him play with the grass.She had no problem with staying outside instead of going to the actual ball, for now at least.
(your not gonna get Kima as easy as you did in abyss dream pub, Night.Sorry.This time it's gonna be harder.)

((Dammit...who's that really wordy member who takes paragraph wayyyyy too seriously? Yea, can someone ask her to do me a very detailed summary of the past seven pages? xD))
Va'an was of course invited to the Rosati Palace masked ball, or perhaps it was just a masque...weren't they the same though? The intricacies of high society eluded him, although he was considered high society himself. A noble birth was wasted on this fellow, for he'd be no less content a poor scholar than a rich one. He thought his genius would no doubt win him the scholarships he'd need if he were born poorer, and if not that then his charm...and if not that his conceited arrogance (or was it arrogant conceitedness?).
Even though he was more or less the guest of honor, for certain reasons that intimated he should not be arriving with a few ladies who also happened to be arriving at the same time he was, he was in fact doing just that. At least his newly acquainted and readily captivated lady friends and himself were entering politely enough so as not to cause any adverse notice to the general public. The question was whether or not it would disturb the young Ms. Rosati, Catrina herself.
Interestingly enough, Va'an hadn't so much as entertained that thought. In other words, he wasn't worried at all about his betrothed's upset at him entering her home with a girl in each arm.
