Hikari's cheeks felt hot as Hei kissed her and she although she was embarrassed, she didn't want him to stop. She smiled slightly and gave him a quick kiss before backing away and smiling again. Oh my god... she thought and blushed even more. "Hei....where are we going after this?" she said, trying to change the subject.

 Hei was glad that she hadn't fainted this time and that she'd actually kissed him herself really quick. His smile widened as he held her even closer and looked into her eyes lovingly. "Don't really know myself. We'll be winging it, looking for jobs to do... Think you can handle being with a merc? An assassin?" He hoped so, because it would be rather hard to change professions all of a sudden. He made quite a lot of money off of his work as well, even if it didn't seem like it.

Hikari frowned slightly. She wasn't one to fight really. She sighed and answered "....Okay....I don't think I could help you a lot but I can help you maybe a little. Sorry. I'm not used to fighting." Hikari thought about what she could do to help. If Hei ever got injured, she could help with that. Maybe ask some animals to attack people. She shook her head ever so slightly and sighed again.

Hei shook his head and held her hand, interlacing their fingers. "No. I don't want you to stain your hands with blood as well. Leave that stuff to me." He smiled and kissed her cheek. "Just be by my side when I'm not shedding blood please. You're the only thing capable of making me happy." He chuckled a bit and pressed his forehead against hers.

Hikari felt grateful that Hei wasn't going to make her fight. It would make her feel terrible she had injured someone else, even if they were hurting her in the first place. She leaned in closer and kissed Hei. After about a minute, she released and smiled, saying " Thank you Hei. "

Hei was a bit surprised when she kissed him again, this time making it last much longer than the other ones. That warmth filled his being once again and he let his smile widen. "It's the better choice." He shrugged and looked around. "Let's camp out for the night. I'll get everything set up, ok?" He kissed her once more before setting her back on her feet and standing up himself. About an hour later, there was a steady fire before the two and Hei had layed out a sleeping bag. He blushed slightly and looked at Hikari... "I was a loner, so I, uhh, only had one sleeping bag..." He rubbed the back of his head and smiled nervously. "Y-You can have it. I'll just sleep on the grass." He chuckled a bit and sat down, looking at the fire.

Hikari smiled and sat down near the warmth of the fire. " It's okay Hei. Thanks for the sleeping bag! Are you okay sleeping on the grass? " she said. She shuffled over closer to Hei and laughed, hugging him while looking at the flames flicker in the night. Inside, Hikari felt very happy that Hei cared about her but she couldn't tell him because she was nervous.

Hei held her close as they looked at the fire and nodded. "Yeah, I'll be ok." He said, kissing her forehead gently before he looked down into her eyes. He could see the love in her eyes and he hoped she could see the same thing in his.

Hikari smiled as she saw his eyes which were lovingly looking at her. " Hei..I think I'll go to sleep now. I'm a bit tired. You should too! " she said, yawning. She stretched her arms and stood up after giving him a kiss. She walked over to the sleeping bag, snuggling in. " I love you Hei... " she said, right before she closed her eyes.

Hei loved feeling her lips against his and to make it better, she told him she loved her before going to sleep. It made him happy for once in a great while and he knew Hikari was the only one that could make him feel like this. "I love you too, Hikari..." He said, smiling over at her as her eyes closed. He leaned his back against a large boulder behind him and gazed up at the crescent moon, it's palid light daring to bathe them once the fire died down. Hei could here the crackling of the twigs burning. He had learned to distinguish that noise from snapping twigs a long time ago. So, the noise didn't make him tense up any more than he already was. He knew it was going to be an all-nighter. He couldn't risk having those damn idiots from the town finding them and slitting their throats in their sleep.

As he heard her trying to apologize he just smiled. “Hey, that doesn’t sound weird at all. The rain is truly a wonderful thing. It helps things grow and it has some sort of soothing power to it,” he said as he thought how he always thought clearer when it was raining. “I am sorry that I caused you to become irritated. I should have just minded my own business and not asked so many questions,” he said silently wishing it would rain right now. As he began to stand up straighter and walk to his room, he turned around and looked at her. “Serena, I hope you feel better. Goodnight and see you tomorrow morning,” he said smiling and walking to his room.

Tir Malice Isamu wrapped Kasumi in another hug. "I love you Kasumi, you know that . . . " He leaned down and brushed her cheek with his lips, whispering softly. "I will wait for you, I do not care if my love brings me death."[[Sorry mine is short, but I didn't have much to go on. Plus, I'm waiting for someone to interact with Irura]] ((Don't worry about it being short. It's my fault you didn't have anything to go off of. I don't have time to make really long posts. If you want, I can make a new character to interact with Irura.)) Kasumi looked up at Isamu. "Isamu...I love you. If anything happened to you, I..." She trailed off, not wanting to finish that sentence, not wanting to think about that. But everyday there was a risk of someone finding out. She did everything she could so no one would find out, but would it be enough? Could she hide this secret everyone forever?

Isamu tipped her chin and caught her in a kiss. "I would gladly give my life for you." He smiled and stepped back, starting to dissappear into a candle flame again. "See you in three days . . . "

Hikari awoke, the sun shining down on her. She covered her eyes with her arm and got up, rubbing her eyes for a while. She finally stopped and walked over to Hei next to the burned out fire. Nothing but ashes were left but the light and warmth it had given them was replaced by the sun. Hikari sat down beside him, slightly nudging his head to the side. " Are you asleep? " she asked quietly. She laughed and poked the side of his face, trying to see if he was or not.

Hei's eyes snapped open and he looked down at Hikari, letting a smile form on his lips. "Hello there." He tilted his head to the side, letting his smile widen. He hadn't been asleep, but he had spaced out pretty badly, losing himself in some kind of trance. If Hikari had been awake only moment before, she would have seen one angelic wing on Hei's back while he'd been in the trance-like state. Of course, he was completely oblivious to this as well. "Did you rest well?" He said softly, coiling his arm around her back to hold her close.
