That was Pryde of the X-Men. I loved that thing... It had Dazzler and Shadowcat... two of my favorite ladies in the X-Universe! It was a failed pilot for an X-Men cartoon in the 80s.

the 80's? wow. lol.
Well, I guess they didn't let it set them back for too long...as the 90's cartoon came out and went up to five seasons I think.

Dazzler is one of my all time favorite mutants~
I swear I don't remember Professor X saying that she used sound back when I first saw it. . . then again that was like 12-16 years ago that I saw it.

Yeah, that one was from the late 80s. If you ever get to play the old school X-Men arcade game, it's based off of it. I *loved* playing that game. Was Dazzler every time. The 90s one started when I was in 8th grade so 93-ish. I do believe it went up to about 5 seasons because I remember the Phoenix Saga stuff coming out my junior year of high school... so that was at least 3 years later. Maybe 4. I *still* have my Phoenix action figure from that arc of shows.

I still have the promotional tape that pizza hut had of all places for the 90's xmen cartoon. It came with a personal pan pizza which I got all for free for being a good little reader. Our school system had a program with Pizza hut called book it read so many books and get a free personal pizza from pizza hut. Was awesome and a good motivation for a young kid lol.
