"Are you nuts?!" Janice snapped at Sulu. "The lights are going to shut off soon, You have no idea where you're going and most importantly; You have NO idea whats down those maintenance tunnels. Janice turned around and faced the rest of the crew. "We have to stick together if we're going to get spock. No more splitting up...Thats what got us in this mess.." she glanced over at McCoys injury. "We need each other right now." Janice was tired about being the silent one, She knew the floor plans and where everything was, If they were smart they would listen to her. She rubbbed McCoys shoulder. "We'll be fine." she flashed him a smile and pulled the laptop out of her bag again. "Ok, I have it up. Lets move." she said taking the lead down the maintenance tunnel. ------------------------------------You Can look, But ya cant touch..------------------------------------

Leonard McCoy Great. Blindly heading forward because in reverse death was surely awaiting for them. Bones sighed heavily, grasping the wound. His attempt at bandaging it with his shirt, seemed wasteful, but it was better than nothing. He needed to get this checked out as soon as possible. With the lack of medical experiment and light, Bones found himself less than happy with all of this. “Enough flirting Sulu.” The doctor said. His eyebrow rose at Janice’s touch of trying to comfort the man. He didn’t need a child to tell him it’ll be fine, when he knew better. Not getting out of here would be the end for all of them. Damn. He was being cranky. Following behind, Bones started to wonder if he’d become one of those creatures. His thoughts were sliced away just like the raccoon type creature. The doctor eyed it with contempt. “..what the hell is that doing on a cargo ship?” For that matter. What the hell was the cargo anyway? Some viral planet? Better yet, a top secret experiment that went wrong and they sent the newbie to fix up their mess. Perhaps in hopes that they would be taken out? Bones knew there were officers that disliked the fact that Jim had been made a captain. What better way to shove them it had been a mistake, then to kill him and keeping your hands clean at the same time? All I have left is my bones..

Scotty tried frantically to establish communications with the group. " Doctor!, Mr.Sulu ?.... do you read me...?" His earpiece just buzzed static he had no idea where they were therefore he couldn't beam them back aboard. " Captain I can't get em' on the line I need their location soon or I can't bring em' back ! "

--=-- --=--James T. Kirk---=--- --=-- At some point in time, the universe had begun to shift around Captain James T. Kirk.
Jim leaned over to strike a button on his armrest which formed his com link to engineering. “Scotty, keep trying….” An idea struck him, tingled him funny slightly. He’d be damned with Starfleet if his crew reported him. “I have a question for you…Would it be possible to boost the frequency on a communicator that would…scramble through the inference?”
“If so…modify one, and I’ll meet you in the transporter room.” It was reckless, stupid even, but damnit all, he had sent his own people over there, and wasn’t going to let them stay there.
Kirk glanced up; catching the gaze of the helmsmen whose mouth was a gap.

"Actually...." janice interrupted while fiddling on her laptop. "...That will just lead us to the electrical wiring above this hallway." Janice took a couple of steps ahead. The sounds of the water drops dripping off the steam pipes hit the puddles on the floor making it echo down the hallway. IT was also getting hot, which meant they most have been by the boiler room, and if we're by the boiler room...We're by the set of stairs that can take us to the communicator room. "Follow me!" she yelled waving them over while walking down the hallway. ------------------------------------You Can look, But ya cant touch..------------------------------------

Leonard McCoy Kill before questions? Sounded vaguely familiar to the CMO. Jim had used the method of, ‘ I come in peace’, when he had arrived late one time to the dorm, and Bones promptly responded, ‘my a**, you went in for the kill again.’ Shrugging that off, Bones listened to Uhura, wondering what she was getting at for the moment. He arched a brow, almost Vulcan like at her statement of using the old radio to boost the signal to reach the Enterprise. It was a fool’s try, but hell, the fool was the smart one of the bunch at times. A strange way of putting it, but hell, zombies was a strange event of the day. Anything goes. Bones looked up the shaft, doubting if it was safe or not. Didn’t look it, and he wasn’t going to try it. Thankfully he wouldn’t. He beamed towards Janice. It was good to have someone being smart about this.[ [Bones...has a mind wondering around..probably because of the long post I made in that other guild XD ]] McCoy tugged at his uniform collar. It was seriously getting warm in. Or, he was starting to feel a little effect of the virus. He wanted to doubt the last part all together. “Ms Rand, question…how long before we reach the bridge? Cause ya know, a certain Vulcan won’t stay put even if he’s on his death bed.” He shot Uhura a quick glance, not meaning harm by his words. All I have left is my bones..

The vinyl black stilettos came to a full stop at McCoys question. "Uhmm.." she tapped away at the Keyboard. " down this hallway, up those stairs, Down another hallway, through the break room... And down another hallway.. And we should be there." she looked up at McCoy raising her eyebrows and biting the corner of her lip giving him the 'please dont kill me look', but hell, she didnt design the floor plans. And every other way was either blocked off or swarming with inefected. "Its the only available route.." It was getting really hot and humid. Janice brushed her hair over one shoulder to get it from sticking to the back of her neck. "What are these uniforms made out of? Death?" she shook the question off and looked over in uhuras direction to catch sulu lowering her to her feet. " I think we should move fast.. We cant waste anymore time.." she put a smile on her face hoping it would make her look like less of a b***h, but time was crucial, and they were running out of it. ------------------------------------You Can look, But ya cant touch..------------------------------------

-S-p-O-c-K-
Spock raised a brow in her mannerism of cutting communications. She did not even offer his concerns of how things were on her end. He did not even try and reach her again, not that he could. His communicator ceased to work for the time being.
The half-vulcan sucked in a painful deep breath, and then letting it out slowly. Things were not good. Slipping the device in its holder, Spock edged away from the command chair. Staying in one location was not the best idea, but with his communications device not wanting to work..and the fact Uhura said they would be there shortly.
Debating with a logical mind, it was a prudent choice to wait. Sides, his body ached for a break. Slipping into the command chair, Spock began to play with the controls, to see what he could bring up.
His gaze drifted upwards when he managed to get the view screen on. “…Fascinating…” he stated, as a layout of the ship appeared. “Computer…bring up living life forms…” nothing happened. Spock sighed softly. Not everything that was old could perform as well as the Enterprise.
This cargo ship was very old, perhaps too old to be in use anymore. It is as if Starfleet wanted a death trap. Spock inputted the code manually and was rewarded with a satisfactory bleep of five life forms appeared. He was about to input another code when power shut down on the bridge.

Leonard McCoy Bones gaped at her when given the answer to his question. Couldn’t a simple time frame been easier to give? Like, ten minutes, twenty tops? Though he wouldn’t say anything about it, and just went with it. “I’d say…Starfleet wants to make us look pretty.” Bones snorted his response to Janice. Shrugging it off as well, the doctor was starting to feel sweaty and more or less uncomfortable. His arm with the wound, started to throb a little more too. It wasn’t regulations but damnit, the doctor was hot as hell, and not to mention his uniform was already torn. Removing what remained of his shirt, Bones tore it into strips, using it to bandage up his wound some more. With that task done, Bones followed silently along side Janice, eyeing the computer now and again. All I have left is my bones..
